- A step by step to get you up and foiling on Fliteboard. Watch and learn about safety, preparing the board, getting the motor going to move across the water, kneeling, standing and foiling. 4x Kitesurfing World Champion Keahi De Aboitiz tells you everything you need to know.
We need more rich people to buy this, so competition and innovation will bring price down for us normal water junkies.
How much you are willing to pay stuff like this
@@hammer7718 For $300 plus the cost of a surfboard, you can make your own.
How much do they cost?
@@noahzegart5190 Like 10 grand
I found a website selling them for £45. Have ordered one yesterday. Will let you know how I get on...
Just got out there for the third time today and finally stood up! I got the Elite Pro board with the more advanced wings. I have been surfing and wakeboarding for about 18 years. Boy was it rough learning this thing as first. The third time out I finally started foiling and controlling the board. This is by far the best water experience I have ever had. Wakeboarding, Wakesurfing, Tubing, Knee Boarding dont compare at all. If you are a former surfer with great experience, this board is going to be amazing for you.

First advert I have watched fully in forever
the most beautiful gadget I have ever seen, a BIG thumbs-up for the super engineering works.
Yeah, and the board isn't bad either!
Nicely descriptive video, well done.
Having surfed, skied and skateboarded, this looks just as much fun, especially the foiling
Wow, 'Boards' have developed quite a bit since I learned to wind surf in the 70's!!
Looks pretty cool, 12 k seems pretty steep, but normal for new tech. Hopefully as the technology progresses the price will come down.
A lot of the cost is in the battery and hopefully battery prices drop as lithium supply increases. A lot of the other costs are the cost of hand made carbon fibre work, which hasn't really reduced much in price over the past decade. Our board itself is much more complex to make than a high-end SUP or Sailboard but is about the same price (for the board only).
Wait till the Chinese rip it off. 100 bucks.
Adolf Galand they already have lol I get ads for them all the time on IG
Definitely way to steep and it isn't the battery which is less than $500 of it.
Can't put a price on glory
Tried it today at Lake Mead! Amazing feeling flyin' across the lake. Woohoo!
Great concept but there are just as many spearfishermen that would love the capability, it does not need to ride high, make it a little wider and longer, with front compartment
for small valuables, eyelid for anchor rope, straps and tie downs for gear. We just need to get from A to B fast and not kick ourselves to exhaustion before we get on our
spot and back to the beach.
You mean like a kayak or powered surf board? These things have already existed for a loooooooong time buddy. And before some bozo says kayaks aren’t motorized, tons of them have the capability for a small motor.
Very cool and very impressive indeed 💥💥 being a surfer of 47 years I’ve just started getting into little bit of standard foiling and this looks like an amazing experience, I’ve been one of the first skateboard UA-camrs to review Electric Skateboards well over five years ago I know this technology very well and this looks like a very sophisticated BMS speed controller and genuinely high-quality product ;) would be awesome to get it chance to ride test and review one of these 👍 keep up the great work looks like Australia made Byron Bay Congratulations guys 👍👌 cheers Andrew Penman EBoards Reviews UA-cam ⚔️
I rode one today for about 2 hours it was amazing! I got the hang of it in less than an hour with a trainer and you literally feel like you are flying
My father in law has one and I just tried it for the first time this weekend at the lake. It was a blast. I was able to stand and ride fairly quickly. Can’t wait to get better at foiling it though!
Coach Rolando: Wow! That Ultra L / Nano setup looks really, really fast, but really, really SMALL! I think I'd like a little more board under me for cross-channel flights from Maui to a couple of the closer neighbor islands, even though, say for example, a Fliteboard Fiberglass Pro is heavier. I'd love to experiment w/ the Fiberglass Pro and the 80 cm mast, though, just to see what you meant by the difference in height while in flight. I know this setup you are showing has a very high advantage of superior performance in exchange for lighter weight considerations, so a strong salute to that! Happy to see that your L knee is healing well & that there have been no setbacks since you are being careful w/ it. And, of course, I am always glad to see you happily cruising along at high speed! Just so that we have a review of it on UA-cam, would you do a review of the Scooter setup that Fliteboard introduced this year? Aloha & Mahalo! Robby
*Very good for the video and for the prototype I find it very interesting as a new sport, my congratulations to the creator. Angel*
This is AWESOME I NEED one of these! Thx fir the motivation while recovering on couch from back surgery!!! 🙏🙏🙏
Did you ever get your ass off the couch?
Lmao it 12000$
Wintrxz yeah really wanted to buy one of these thinking that they would cost no more than 300$ 😂😂😂
N G no the non electric one is 300-500$ and the electric shown on this vid is 12000$ im serious
Wintrxz where can i find the non electric one? btw if u know somewhere in Europe
Excellent tutorial and instruction!
This is a great alternative for a surfer who moved away from the ocean....I'm in for one of these!
Very well explained. Gave me a good understanding of how it could feel to be on a flite board. I have a torn ligament and a torn meniscus on my right knee so i cannot fold my knee and sit on my calf. My right knee doesn't fold completely. Can i still do flite board?

Yes if you have 10,000 dollars
@@MegaOzzy28 😂😂😂 you forgot to mention the insurance.
Too cool! Xan't wait to try around Catalina Island!
I have ordered a CYBRTRK....my plan was always to add this, for my travels around Oz.
KOOL Boards.....
I just realised .. are you the son of the legend CHRIS!
Just took mine all the way across lake Michigan shyt was crazy 🎉
Hello from France, thank you for this ecellent vidéo ! I am learning foil and it help me a lot.👍
It takes a long time to learn how to fly , im on my 3rd lesson .. it's good fun , Id recommend to get some sort of material elbow pads as they do get raw after practice
LOVE this idea! I live on a boat and generate my energy with added on solar panels. What can you tell me about the charge these take and how long do the batteries tend to last?

Great video to lean efoiling, generally works for all efoils
There's efoils, and then there is Fliteboard. Fliteboard is far easier to learn than another efoil, and far greater build quality and performance.
Nice Tutorial, much appreciated!
This looks wild! I would love to do this.
Got to get me one...and yes the board too!!
3:35 when your boarding instructor also drives a windowless van :P
This is soooo cool!! Would love to try it in Maui where I live 🤙🏼 hit me up
Mike B hey awesome 😃🤙🏼
GOMER PYLE sweet🤙🏼 we need to get this thing to Maui 😂😂
There are a lot of sharks there. I'm thinking the electric motor will attract them. It's now common knowledge sharks are sensitive to magnetic fields created by electricity.
Yeah .... Maui is famous for its calm ocean eh? ;< )
Got 12k
Can’t wait to have a crack at this…. Picking mine up this weekend yeeeeeew 👍👍
How you going with it?
First crash…..ua-cam.com/video/j7iXgtFiImI/v-deo.html
If I had my own garage out here in Miami, I'd much rather build my own and save $11,500 dollars.
Doubtful you could build one as good/if at all for $500. The battery alone needs to be more than that...waterproofing everything to include a remote control. Maybe you could make a shitty version for $5K. Edit, all of that said, I have no idea about your engineering skills...but I'm going on a limb here and sticking to my assessment.
READY TO TRY THIS WEEK, WE HAVE ONE NEW ONE FOR SUMMER 2019, IN MALLORCA, MENORCA, IBIZA AND FORMENTERA, I AM ECXITED TO PRACTICE, YUHUUUUUUUU BETTER TO PRACTICE LOTS OF BALANCING POSES IN MY YOGA PRACTICE...... WISH ME GOOD LUCK !
Ok just tell me how was it, im.planning to.buy
and...........???
I demoed a Lift3 and Foil. I heard Flite had better battery tech so I called a shop to do a demo and was told that they would not allow me to demo because the max weight is 220lbs and I and 230lbs. Something about warranty.
Nice! Between Flyer 800 & Flow 1100 your clip decided for me. Flow 1100 it is.
A friend of mine has one. So cool once you get used to the balance. $12k is a lot of dough though for something you may eventually get bored with or when the thrill wears off.
12K is a lot to pay when you know there will be Chinese knock offs soon enough
Bored - no chance ..... the thrill never diminishes
I had the idea for this 20 yrs ago !
It be fun to have a Handle bar stand at front of Board with the controls on the Handle bars....looks easyer to learn and control in the flying foils🎉...Do you already offer Handle bars for your beautiful bEfoils....WoW..pray to God When I get my Efoil Board
nice! i want to buy this and rent it out in my province! :)
Man! That sounds so f'n fun 😊!
Nice video!!!
Good on ya! Enjoy your millions; and don't forget to share!
That looks unreal. I can see a few Kirsty McCaul situations though.
I need one of these please follow you from Iraq 🇮🇶🥺
Just saw a video where Kermit Weeks, well known aircraft pilot and collector, in his sixties was having a ball with it. Of course Kermit is in a lot better shape than most of us 60 somethings....
Absolutely amazing / Feed back freash water wash down after salt water use lol i had the job of the task being the youngest out the river so drummed in MY SKIING gear looks as good the day i got Thanks to mum lol
Can't the motor be more covered to make it safer? Will that reduce performance? The only really bad safety hazard I see are the exposed blades.
There is a propeller guard as standard. Version 2 of the board (released Q3 2021) allows the guard to be removed with a free spinning propeller when the power is stopped - this feature allows the board to act as a foil surfboard when riding unbroken waves.
looks so cool but wtf if it get wet the bluetooth can have problems?? and doesn't have a protection for the propellers?
Thats really cool
LOL, what happens when the batteries die, u hit some crap in the water like seaweed etc and the prop get's snagged, it could be a long swim back to shore tugging 25Kgs (a bag of cement LOL) How about the non powered/leg motion powered versions I see with dudes in the bar at Ballina?
Hey Fliteboard, request you re-shoot the video with a Series 2 Pro. Foot placements will be different. Agree that knee pads are essenetial and even shoes for water/sand to protect toes, especially during practice runs.

I can’t afford this thing!!! It is soooooo awesome though!!!! I wish I could have one…..but I gotta eat.
Awesome!!!
I'm gonna dream about it tonight :"keep your weight forward"
Im in Oregon, i want to learn how to do this, anyone offer lessons in Oregon?
Anybody who surf or snowboarding can ride this in one day...Just step by step s.owly by your personal feeling... I get up and ride after 15 min of riding...😊
good invention
Ok, I am brand spanking new here. Several comments. As others here have commented, they are right, 12,000 is way too much and you will be forced to deal with that fact just as soon a your first imitator puts their first product on the market for 1500. Stay ahead of them though by doing two things. First, make that foot pad your rider stands on a solar panel so you can ride that thing all day on your way to the Bahamas. Second, put an emergency GPS signal on it so -you know. Ideally, I'd like to see a 50 cal mounted on the front. We good?
Let me know when they make this with a stressless chair mounted on it.
it is beautiful but i wonde how long will take until all the area are empty of fishes and marine liife because crashes with the propeler
javier molinero it’s an incorrect assumption that the propellor will hit marine life. It’s not something we’ve experienced. And of course a boat propeller would be much worse then our small plastic, guarded propeller that is situated behind the mast and wing, both of which are not sharp.
OMG, seriously?
Sounds like a before take-off tutorial
speed and pressure are basically the same concept with water and air, so I can imagine
How many kg they can carry and how long the batteries hold? 😃
Secccc techhhhhh💥💥
Nice but maybe The price will come down in a few years. That price is kind of out of reach for a lot of people ya think? The price is actually a little shocking compared to a nice Ebike price
LOOKS LIKE THE TWEED RIVER
Excellent
Thank you
If we asked about price it will be for Corvette
Interesanti interesanti
Can anyone direct me to a site that sells these?
Wow I wanna do this.... But no money 😭 But within 5 years I will make it.
Is any regulations in uk? And can be use in ocean with small/medium waves? Or only lakes
First a paramotor now I need this wtf 🫣😩🤦🏽♂️😂
I wish it wasn’t so expensive hopefully it well be around $2,000 in 10 years or so
nice
How long can a full duration be?
Easy handling
Good...
I can fliteboard and foil i learnt it in the turkey hillside watersports
Where is the factory floor for things located?
Nice
Why am I only just finding out about this?!?!
Because it’s $15000 so nobody can afford it
Overwatch for life
Tony Robbins fliteboards?
I'm from India, how can I buy
Coachella surf board? :D
Wow I like the level 1-4
I want one😎
👍❤️
I need this one how to possible
Wish they made these 40 years ago
Why didn't they mount the signal receiver on some kind of heightened contraption if water can block the signal? Sounds like faulty design.
For sure. If the antenna were about 4 feet tall, you would have something to hold on to. A chair would be nice too. drink holder...
@@topbuilder3790 Way to circumvent my point. Idk if you were trying to be funny or serious.
Is this legal in Canada?
Nice idea guys - using foil concepts proven in the sailing industry but at $13k US it is priced way too high to be successful (IMO). I wish you guys success but encourage you to really look hard at your cost of manufacture and transportation to get this down to a more respectable number - it would need to be under $5k US I believe and if you can't get it down to that pricing level you can rest assured a competitor will, perhaps someone like Hobie who already has an established brand and footprint in this market and pioneered a foiled catamaran over 15 years ago.
Aussieonyak They supassed a thousand sold this spring at the price point your knocking. They seem to be doing alright ;)
I don’t think they need your business advice.
so why does it cost 15k? The production of that board doesnt exceed 1k lol.
In 5 years the price will come down like Flat Screen television that was 15K for Plasma back in 2000 now you get LED for 145 bucks. Best to wait for tech to come down in price and not be the first.
where can I go to try one?
