I agree, Lugia meant a lot to me while playing Silver because I loved the ocean.
Rich I like Lugia because it can be pretty good competitively, I didn't even mention using it for battling. I like it for more for outside reasons as I've said above. If someone likes a Legendary it's not always because of battling. Hell I use my second favourite Pokemon Glaceon in my team more often then Lugia.

My favorite has to be piplup, he was my first pokemon and the first one I trained to level one hundred. He and his evolutionary line are just so awesome, me and him connected on an emotional level and I won't ever forget him

Raichu's always been my personal favorite. Raichu is cute, not quite as much as pikachu, but stronger.

Cubchoo seems cool except I wouldn't be able to stand not being able to wipe his nose. I can't stand loose snot. But that's the point so it's kind of cool

Pikachu was one of my favorite Pokemon not because of the show, but because my brother gave me a Pikachu pillow and whenever i was scared or sad, I would hug it until it made me feel ok

I only have two favorites, Garchomp and Gengar. Garchomp looks incredibly badass and Gengar's sinister smile shows that it shouldn't be messed with.

I think my fav part of this video was all the personal stories attached to pretty much every pokemon; that really adds a personal touch to it and makes pokemon feel alive and something impactful. This list was really unique and I very much enjoyed it. Catch ya later! :)

Scizzor and Flygon will always be my favorites. I remember seeing Scizzor back before I even had my first pokemin game I remember my eyes bursting open, thinking that thing is awesome! And flygon was my first dragon type. From the point where I caught a trapinich and trained him, he would always be among my vanguard 6.

For me it's a mix of these two. I'm drawn to some of my favorites, such as Feraligatr and Gengar mostly for their awesome designs, even though I've never even fully trained either. Others, like Torterra, Pangoro, and Krookodile grew to be my favorites after staying with me and proving their usefulness as I conquered a region.

Ok so I just started watching your videos not too long ago. Your first choice (nosepass and probopass) made me laugh so hard. I have a big nose too, and seeing just that part of the video makes me want to go and get one now. I never thought of it that way xD

With the advent of Sun and Moon, my favorite Pokemon as of then has been Lycanroc (midday form). It's a wolf, my favorite animal of all time, its PokeDex entries states that it's loyal and devoted to a worthy trainer, and its a rock-type, which fits in well with my neo-pagan beliefs of earth being my personal element (that and rock being among my top three favorite types). Plus its design is very simplistic, but graceful and elegant. Plus it's a nice teammate for my favorite fire-type and go-to fire Pokemon, Arcanine.
That was the most sentimental and meaningful top ten pokemon I've seen made me a little emotional

My favorite pokemon is kabutops because when I first got the dome fossil in pokemon red I didn't know what do do with it but when I evolved it into kabuto I got really attached and then it became awesome when it turned into kabutops also it was my first level 100 pokemon

If I had to chose my top ten Favorite Pokemon in no order I think the list would go like this.
1.*Treecko* first Pokemon I ever had because I finally owned a game instead of playing a game for a few minutes at a friends house.
2.*Salamance* Being the first Pokemon I ever trained to level 100, on top of the Pokedex entries it's previous forms had and how it achieves it's goal.
3.*Aggron* What can I say about this beast? Well when I first got an Aron I had no idea how much power that tiny thing would have. It quickly become a heavy hitter, and a giant wall on my team.
4.*Metagross* Well I really generally never used Metagross until my later playthroughs by trading it back from using a friend's help, I saw how much power it had and it joined a spot on my team.
5.*Fortress* Originally I hated Fortress, but eventually in High School my friends started to do our own little gym trainer bit. I got chose to be the Steel type gym leader (Shocking isn't it?) so at first I had Fortress, or Bob as nicknamed, as kind of a gag, until I found out the negate of one hit ko ability along with poison spikes being a perfect combination for him. Pull that together with the defensive capabilities of Steel types and the opposing team is in for a bad time.
6. *Ferrothorn* My two favorite types put together into one Pokemon, add a rocky helmet and it quickly become a memorable and a team member for me.
7. *Chespin and it's evolutions* Grass types being a favor typing of mine is a bonus, but just look at Chespin, it's so freaking adorable! It's strong offensively later on, and with it's spike shield combined with leech seed and poison jab, can make it a dangerous opponent.
8.*Flygon* when Pokemon Colosseum was out I caught vibrava without knowing what would happen, the results turned out great. At any point I was in a really bad spot, Flygon was always the one I need to get me out of a really tough situation.
9. *Sylveon* when the new generation showed off Sylveon at the helm for Fairy type I was skecpital about the not only the new type but the eeveelution itself. But my current girlfriend said I should get one, and name it after her. I keep finding myself using Sylveon because it can dish out damage, and take some hits really well (at least the way I trained it)
10. *Pichu* (actually takes the top spot) To be honest I've never used Pichu and probably won't any time soon. But the reason it's become a favorite is because of an old friend. In High School just as I became a senior a good friend of mine went on to College out of state and this being before my friend having a phone we never kept in contact. My buddy's last gift was a Pichu with Pokerus, this was the first time I heard about Pokerus, and what it did. To this day many years later I still remember being told, "Don't waste it. It's my last gift." and waste it I have not. While I don't use the Pokerus as much, and some of my Pokemon have become immune to it, Pichu still has Pokerus to this day.
I hope you checked if you're Sylveon is actually female. female's are rare amongst the Eeveelutions.

And here are my top ten favorites: 10. Pikachu, 9. Pidgeot, 8. Machoke, 7. Manetric, 6. Floatzel, 5. Vaporeon (My favorite water type of all time), 4. Ampharos, 3. Arcanine, 2. Charizard, 1. Blaziken (My favorite fire type starter of all time). Blaziken is my favorite fire type starter of all time is because when I first saw Harrison's Blaziken, I thought, "I want to raise a Pokemon like that in the games." So when I got Ruby and Sapphire, I chose Torchic and named it Flare.
My favourites are tied with Togepi and Umbreon. I just adore them both and they were both my mains in X and Y.
I just feel connected with Umbreon somehow... I guess it's because I played with it a lot in Pokemon Amie and it would really cooperate in battle. I got her as an Eevee when she was only level 19. She was a gem, the only female I had ever seen of her kind. I named her Eva. Battles were easy with me spamming Foul Play and Toxic. Whenever she contracted a status condition, she never let me down and always lived. She was always at the front of my party and 1-hit KO'd all in her path. She was truly magical, and always will be. I remember the time that I got a Pokemon with Pokerus from a wonder trade, and then she caught it. She was unstoppable. She is currently level 100 and she has given birth to four little male Eevees. She had them with a Vaporeon named Victor. I'm so proud! The boys are all strong and growing fast.
Togepi on the other hand has just been my favourite because of my attachment to Misty. I used to wake up at five AM every day (even on school days) when I was 6 until I was 10 just to watch Misty on the screen. Soon, Misty was replaced with Dawn. I kept watching to wait for Togepi to come back but then he evolved into Togetic and I never saw him again. When my parents got an apple TV, I watched my heart out. I would do my homework while watching Pokemon, specifically for Misty and Togepi. I would doodle Togepi and Misty in class and soon after, I started drawing myself holding Togepi. I even wrote a dramatic story as an essay about Misty dying and then me having to take care of her Pokemon, specifically Togepi. (I didn't actually write "Togepi". I made it like Misty had a puppy to avoid my teacher thinking I was insane, but I knew what I actually intended.) Togepi was hard to come by in X and Y so I had to do a LOT of trading to get one. I ended up with a male French Togepi. I levelled him up with Rare Candies and finally got to use him. Even if we lost battles, seeing him smile in Pokemon Amie was priceless.

9. Mawile (Fucks up your day with Fairy typing, and another one I just like)
8. Gogoat (This fucker can learn Surf and Earthquake, HELLZ YES)
7. Totodile Line (This was my first starter line, and I LOVE these reptiles with a passion)
6. Gengar (Ghost-Type special attackers aren't rare {Fucking Chandelure...} but I think Gengar does it best)
5. Gallade (Psychic-Fighting is a combination I like, and this guy does it best. Also, DAT MEGA DOE)
4. Snivy Line (Ahh memories. I struggled through Black going up against all the fucking gyms and Elite Four Pokemon AND LEGENDARY POKEMON that negated my starter, but they were BEASTS)
3. Gigalith (My cousin picked Tepig, and always wrecked Snivy/Servine/Serperior with it. When I trained up Gigalith, watching him flatten Emboar made me realize he is a god of a Rock-Type. It was also amusing because my cousin didn't know Rock was weak to Fighting xD)
2. Hydreigon (Three headed Dark-Type special attacking dragon. NEXT)
-Honorable Mentions: Squirtle line, Ampharos, Aggron, and Manectric (VERY recent, but Manectric pretty much swamped through Omega Ruby with me)
1. Froakie line (Where to begin? First, plus for finishing with a Water-Dark type, because Dark is my favorite type. Second, their speed-sp atk combo means you can jump at anything and blast it down before it can send a Moonblast your way. Third, it's move pool compliments it's stats. And fourth, (inner child speaking) it's a ninja frog. Win. I'm also happy they put Greninja in the new smash bros game :D)

I have to agree with the second part of what Hello!Nurd said. It's nice to hear how you like pokemon not because of stats or appearance. It's pretty cool to think like that.

The first pokemon I ever caught was shinx he's now a lv100 luxray if it wasn't for him I may have never beat Cynthia I still have him to this very day on my x along with the rest of my original team

I still have the first ever shinx i caught in pokemon pearl, she's a luxray now, and I'm never letting go of her, she replaced my partner pokemon in pokemon pearl XD
some of my favorites have to be riolu and lucario because when i was around 8 or so i had just gotten diamond. my sisters would always play it with me and they always did 2 things make poffins and give my pokemon dumb nicknames. one that i always loved was the egg that hatched onto riolu because my sister named it riouz. i always nick name them riouz now. i also love bannete because once while playing diamond with my friend i kept seeing bannete in the middle of the day while they are only supposed to appear at night. we said i had the curse of the bannete and i sometimes still have this happen to me when i play diamond
Lucario was the first Pokemon that I got to level 100 and my personal favorite.
Lilligant was one of those Pokemon that I ignored until I caught a shiny Petilil and evolved it. Now that it caught my attention, I quite like it!

Pokemon x is my first and duoblade is my favorite so far. It is my first shiny, my highest level pokemon and the coolest looking pokemon I have. But I look forward to beginning my pokemon adventure, learning new pokemon, and staying subbed to your channel

Togekiss is a strong Pokémon to. It can learn shock wave, water pulse, aura sphere, sky attack, extremespeed, magical leaf and many others 2. Dats a really gud choice.
MissingNo does NOT count as a Pokémon anymore! And you have also been reported for wrong gender calling on the following Pokémon: Cofagrigus, Malamar, Hydreigon (I should be after the E), Chandelure, and Vileplume! ALL Pokémon are to be called "it" even if they have genders!

Yeah! Probopass and Nosepass are cool! Unfortunately, many people think that these Pokémon are poorly designed, but it's not true. This evolutionary chain is one of the most original chains in the game! I love these Pokémon! :D

Spheal will always be my number one. He's round and bouncy. He is also part ice which is my favorite type. And the opening of the deoxys movie years ago, with spheal going to that kid will always be a cute memory in my mind.

my absolute favorite is absol. i love the mega evo and in y i have a badass absol called Dark-Angel that is stronger than any other i have.

I got into pokemon later, and my first game was sapphire, so I also really like carvhana! It was also the first shiny I had ever caught, making it even better in my opinion!
Tamashii, I doubt you might glance this and give it a second thought, but your choices in favorite pokemon and the reasons for them touched me especially Ledyba reminding you of your grandma. I'm living with four guys and a lot of times, I usually keep a male wall to hide my feminine side. But when I saw your video, I couldn't not say aww out loud because, well, I was moved greatly. I swear i was two second from letting out a tear or two because you reminded me a lot of who i used to be when i was a child. I wanted to give you my personal Top Ten just because I think you might appreciate it the most (and that's coming from a JWittz Fan)
10: Suicune. When I grew up, I never got to play Pokemon because of how strict a Christian my mom was. But when I got the GameCube and Super Smash Bros. Melee, and saw this Pokemon, I was immediately lured to it. I was a big fan of blue, white and purple, a big fan of wolves, and ice-based powers. Suicune made the cut, and has always kept a warm (but a cool) seat in my heart.
9: Pikachu. Believe it or not, this was the first Pokemon I ever actually had. My friend let me use his Pokemon Pikachu version, and I started a new game, and felt like I was not Red, but Ash, carrying a Pikachu around with me everywhere I went. I also spent a lot of time playing with Pikachu in Pokemon Channel, and he was always cute every time I petted him. Pikachu isn't all that great for battling or competition, but he was technically my first Pokemon, so he is always remembered in my heart.
8: Torchic, Combusken, and Blaziken. Torchic ended up being my first serious starter. When I bought myself VGBA for my Android, I picked Torchic as my first starter. The design was cute, it wasn't gimmicky, and it made me curious. So the months went by, and I thought that Katon (his nickname) was OP in his first evolution until I saw him evolve into Blaziken. I stared literally for about ten seconds with wide eyes because of the severely amazing design that was thought into Blaziken. It honestly looked more humanlike than Gardevoir did. He was my ticket to defeating the Elite Four in Emerald, and I still think of Blaziken as the most powerful Starter Pokemon to this day.
7: Jigglypuff. Yet another reason to mention Super Smash Bros. Melee. Jigglypuff was one of the best Melee characters to play with. His color schemes were nice, but the anime and parodies of Jigglypuff paid tribute to my attraction to him. His singing, and his pranking that follows close behind. I watched Smosh's parody of Jigglypuff, and as an adult, it made me chuckle like the first time I watched Jigglypuffs Grand Debut. Though he isn't my typical battling Pokemon, you always need comedy relief.
6: Magikarp and Gyrados. Even though he's one of the weakest Pokemon, he's one of the few Pokemon you can have high expectations for. Too many people back in Gen 1 thought he was the most useless Pokemon because of him only knowing splash for a while. But when I saw how he became from zero to hero in his early twenties, it was like watching the underdog become a beast. Not to mention Gyrados resembles a Chinese Dragon so much, it gives me chills. (Chinese Dragons. SO. AWESOME.)
5: Umbreon. Another friend hooked me into Umbreon. I grew up with a PokeManiac named Eric. He had Pokemon XD, and instantly, Umbreon showed up in his PC. I always loved cats, and Umbreon resembles a cat in every way, even up to the tail! And do I even have to go back into my blue obsession when mentioning his Shiny?
4: Mew. This goes back into high school when I bought a Mew plush doll from my teacher for a quarter. It was as a birthday present for a crush of mine, but I held onto Mew for a few months before I did so. I grew attached to her (I decided it was a girl because like Mew in his own movie, they like to have fun), and it was heartbreaking to watch her go into someone else's arms, but I still remember it being one of my fondest memories in my freshman year.
3: Treecko, Grovyle, and Sceptile. Remember when I said I bought VGBA? Well, I created a seperate file because I lost my first one due to theft. So I went with Treecko. I started him, and he was actually a shiny Treecko! Knowing the odds of finding one, I got so close to him, I named him Gama-Chan (Naruto's Frog Wallet) because he looked more like a frog than a gecko. Blaziken may have done a great amount to help defeat the League in Emerald, but Gama-Chan helped me defeat Kyogre and helped me compete in the Battle Frontier! Plus, in the anime when Treecko tries to learn bullet seed, i found it cute when he shoots out watermelon seeds just like my brothers and I did when we were kids and seedless watermelons weren't nearly as popular.
2: Lucario. A lot of the Pokemon I generally like, end up as one of two things: A playable character in Super Smash Bros., or an anime character that I like a lot. Lucario plays both in that role. He was my mostly played character under Samus, and he reminded me of the game character that has something to protect, which was a value that I grew up to love when I first watched Naruto. All that aside, he's blue. He fires blue Aura Spheres. He's ninja-like. And he was my first drawing that didn't suck that I used without a stencil!
Here are some of my Honorable Mentions, because of the fact that I am a Pokemon junkie.
Mewtwo, Minun and Plusle, Rayquaza, Latias and Latios, Jirachi (he was a shared favorite between my little brother and I), Manaphy, and finally, Piplup, Prinplup and Empoleon.
1: Lugia. This was easily my most favorite Pokemon of all time. I bought an Ocarina for my Link Costume last Halloween, and after learning Zelda's Lullaby, I learned Lugia's theme. It was mysterious, soothing, and...safe. I caught Lugia in VGBA, and he helped me capture Groudon. Despite the nostalgia, I watched his fight against the Legendary Bird Trio, and he captivated me more than any other Legendary Pokemon could hope to. Plus, he even sings his own theme, and he talks. He's amazing, but that's not the last of it. He reminds me of an old man I usd to know until two years ago on 3.14 known as Andre Tetrault (pronounced Tetroolt), and I had a close bond with him, always visiting him after church, staying the night at his house, even being there to help take care of him when he needed my family. Breakfasts with him was always fun, and he spoke like Lugia did. Out of all the Pokemon I loved, this one held the most fond and the best of my memories as you may read this. I hope you read this Tamashii, and if you do, just remember that I may not worship Pokemon, but Pokemon is always going to be a part of me.

My first Pokemon was white 2 and I chose oshawatt and I trained to level 100 as well it was my first level 100 Pokemon. Honestly, for personal reasons, I have a slight dislike for heracross. I'm not trying to be offensive to anyone here, but in LeafGreen, My Blastoise got owned by Heracross's Megahorn every single time on my 2nd go round of the Elite Four. There is really nothing wrong with it, it just gets on my nerves because of my LeafGreen Experience

Crow Alones Chikorita is definitely one of the most mediocre starter Pokemon out there, but it's far from a bad Pokemon. It's great defensive stats and wide Movepool of status moves make it a REALLY annoying Pokemon to fight if you set your cards right, and is one of my favorite starter Pokemon out there.
But hey, that's just my opinion, and if you disagree, which you obviously do, I can't really blame you for that.
