This is just a quick video that I made in 2 days talking about how quickly you can get a full Friend safari in Pokémon X&Y without having to bother anyone - Ігри
After well over a month of me knowing that there is some sort of randomisation aspect to it I finally figured out how to re-reveal the dummy safaris aswell as how to reroll them! Expect a video very soon!
Edit: Nvm it seems to be a one time fluke idk why but I can't recreate the effect. Still needs more testing, guess the video has to wait until I figure out what is going on.
Does your spreadsheet have frogadier in its third slot. Most importantly can you shiny hunt it / catch it? Your reply is very much appreciated good sir 🙂🙏
@@charliereviewchannel8147 Well my spreadsheet did have a frogadier somewhere however the issue is the dummy friends you can get are random. So the friends that i have are different to the one you get. I can't guarantee you that you will be able to get one. My tip is: as long as the 3rd slot is still unknown you reroll the safaris by deleting the dummy friends, closing and reopening the software and then add dummy friends again that way you can rerroll for more water type safaris until you think it's likely enough for a frogadier to be in one of them.

@@ShinyCrazedi have manage to generate 10 water safaris, in your opinion , how big do you think my chances of getting frogadier in the third slot is? Im asking this out of fear that after i revealed it, i can’t reroll it back. 😅
@@charliereviewchannel8147 you have a 33% chance per safari to get a frogadier so odds wise you should get at least 1. I'd say try your luck just know it's not 100% guaranteed to get one.
Im glad that I did the hard work of obtaining them the hard way, this is a cool solution for people who didnt tho.
Thank you! I did a bunch of this the legit way.... but I have two 3ds-- one homebrewed and one not.... and I didn't realize switching systems would lock the 3rd slots again. I'll need to get on homebrewing my secondary 3DS and adding the dummy friend list on both systems so I can shiny hunt the Elemental Monkeys more efficiently
No problem glad to help! But be aware that only Pansage and Panpour are available in the 100 dummy safaris. Pansear you have to get from another safari sadly.

@@FateTheArcher Are you sure that it's one of the "dummy girl" safaris? Because I just went through all the fire type safaris on my console where all 100 dummies are on and none were a: "Pansear Charmeleon Braixen" safari. Couldn't it be one that you had before?
@ShinyCrazed yeah definitely not. This 3DS only had a few friends on it, and they are all at the top of the list. This one is closer to the middle and is only two away from the panpour,gyarados, and frogadier safari.

thank you, without this i would've had to either hunt pansear on santalune forest or masuda it (i have done 4 masuda hunts so far, and i do not want to do it again)
i had the other 2 monkeys before the server shut down, but completely forgot about the fire one :|

Nope they're legal! All these safaris are, as far as the game is concerned from "real" friendcodes.
I have 71 friends on my 3ds if i do this will it delete all of the friends and replace them with the dummy girls
Nope it will only fill your friendslist until you have 100 friends. They don't get deleted unless you (accidently) press the button combination for the deletion of all friends (happend to me a while ago lol). So in your case you would get 29 dummy girls
Question: has anyone else Checked if the 100 dummy friends are randomized? I just checked mine and out of all my 100 I have 1 dragon safari with Fraxure, Noibat and Sligoo.
And 2 normal safari that contain Eevee.

Yes they're randomized! (At least the dummies you can get are) They can also be rerolled as long as the safaris are still unrevealed and you remove and then re-add all dummies. Why that is idk.

@@a.m.theshinyjohtohunter4287 I'm not entirely sure but there seems to be a way to relock them. Pretty sure it requires 2 3ds consoles with different friends lists ( with real friends on both of them)
Plug the game from console A to Console B.
Go to the friend safari (for quick access) and check the bottom screen. It has to say something along the lines of "your friendslist got updated".
Save and then quit the game. Reinsert it into Console A.
And then check if some of the Friend safaris are locked again (most won't be).
If non are locked delete the dummy friends via the friend add tool, quit out of the software and then reenter it and readd the dummies.
Open the game and check if anything happend if not try a different order of some of these steps (at some point it might work, or not this stuff doesn't make sense)
(TL:DR I think wether you get the relock or not depends on how many real friends you have on the other system not entirely sure tho.
if you do get it tho you can just check the types of the friend safaris if it's something you don't want just delete the dummies close the software, reopen it and then add the dummies that way you should have new ones)
@@ShinyCrazed I’m on a modded 3DS and they are digital copies. I noticed in PK3DS that it has a function to delete friends. Maybe I should try that...

Thank you for this guide! I am having an issue where after I run the script and load the game up it still doesn't reveal all 3 slots.. would you know why? Or am I doing something wrong.. ive followed your exact guide
I'm not entirely sure but I think you might have to enter one of the safaris before running the script. Let me know if that fixed the issue! Also make sure to save your changes on the pksm main menu it's a small button in the bottom right, that might also be your problem!
That seemed to work thank you. was shiny hunting last night with just the 2, I re-ran the script earlier and now all 3 slots are showing!

can i do this on citra emulator on android?in my country 3DS has been shut down and i only can buy the device from online apps and its a second hand not a new one
If you can get custom firmware running on your emulator it should be possible (in theory). I have no clue if it's even possible tho. I'd just recommend getting a second hand console for relatively cheap and do it on there. Way easier modding process too. The console I showed it on in the video was also second hand and had no problems with it what so ever.
@@ShinyCrazed but the problem buying second hand in the first place is the prices is just the same you buy a new one,with so much need to be fixed(from a broken button,broken LCD,and much more) and no charger,i was living in the country that more worst in china LOL
@@ShinyCrazed and ive tried this in citra emulator android,this can be installed but cant work because friend list in citra cant be setup and generate your friend code,even if u succes to add the game into 3ds home menu(the easy way is just need all the game you download in ".cia" format),it make the tools keep failing to add dummy friend
Ah I see, well that's a shame. I also see your problems with second hand consoles. Yeah it's something you have to be weary of. I for the most part just tend to import my consoles since they're just cheaper that way for me. But I know that's something most people don't have access to.
My only suggestion is that you save this video to a playlist until you ever are in a position to buy an actual 3ds. That way you don't lose it since I can't guarantee that the video is going to be easily searchable in the future.
@@ShinyCrazed yep,that can do,but,i think im gonna skip to buy 3ds in the future,since the 3DS server gonna be shut down tomorrow(which in indonesia its been 2 weeks),and nintendo switch also can running 3DS game with high resolution,thats my opinion and your video is helping (but not much for me and i do this with my friend 3DS,it work perfectly),ill just subscribe as a gift

If you revealed the slots of the safaris (which mon are in them) then no. But if they're still unrevealed and you only know their types then yes! Go back to the friend add tool press the button combo for the removal of all the bot friends close the software and then reopen it now add the dummies again and after that all still unrevealed safaris will be rerolled!

Theory on why it is or isn't working:
It might, and that's the issue I'm not entirely sure if the game is the one to always give you the same safaris once revealed or if it dependant on the 3ds itself.
My theory right now is that it's a mix of the software (the friend tool) and the console itself. Pretty sure if you have 0 friends on your console and then add all dummies you're always gonna get the same ones but if you already have friends on the system add the dummies remove the non dummies and then replace them with more dummies I think then you get new ones. But don't take my word for it I haven't really had the time nor people to test it with.

It doesn't work since you'd need the whole friend system integrated and as far as I'm aware no emulator has that, so it wouldn't even be possible.
That said there is another way of getting friend safaris I'm probably gonna make a vid about that sometime soon, and that one should (in theory) also work on emulators.

Well despite it being a meme, hacking a 3ds is really easy, low risk and well documented. On "3ds.guide" you can find a written step by step explanation of how to hack your 3ds. I highly recommend you give it a shot!

Fair! But if you want to use the friend safari (unless you already have 3ds friends) you are required to have a modded console unfortunately. Since it usually involves either modding the game itself or using development software which you can't install otherwise.
It's surprisingly easy to hack your 3ds
i used to think this until i did it, it’s really worth it and i think you should consider it. it makes the experience overall significantly better in so many ways
Why not? You could always revert it later.
Why? Theres so many reasons to do it and no reason not to
