I am a huge fan of your videos. They are all really well put together and fun to watch. I sometimes even have "marathons" of your videos and will sit down with my ds and watch all of them. I've watched most of your videos multiple times (from this channel anyway.) I know you made a tutorial explaining how you made your sprite but i'm still just not tech savy enough to make my own. I thought about asking you to make me one but figured you probably had plenty of fans asking you to do all kinds of things so I had an idea. Just a suggestion but I would LOVE it if you did a contest video with the prize being a sprite of the winner made by you.

It's hilarious that you mentioned beady eyes as part of the crochet pokemon's appeal while you were holding a Skitty doll. Those eyes are anything BUT beady.
My idea for a Rom Hack: Pokemon (any version) Zubat Edition. At any and all areas except the areas before you get your starter, there will be a chance to encounter a Zubat. This Zubat can be of any type.

I think I have an answer for ash never getting a year old... I think Tamashii said this but maybe becuz ash saw ho-oh in first episode his version of eternal happyness might be never dying wich mean always going on a big pokemon journey

Oh wow I watched all your videos, as I was younger that amazed the hell out of me seeing you hack it, thanks for the nostalgia!
Also I like the eternal happiness theory, because it applies the myths involving the phoenix having the power to brin back the dead and giving them eternal youth. The idea that ash is deathless can make sense in pokemon 1st movie when ash turns to stone after being hit by a combined psychic attack.
my idea for a Rom Hack: Pokemon Metamorph. A hack for Ruby/Saphire/Emerald.
3 Mestirious pokemon appear in the Hoen Region and turn all wild pokemon (non legendaries) into dittos with their dreamworld ability. you begin with 3 sarters wich you can choose from all the starters up to gen 3. your job is to unite the weather trio (groudon, kyogre and rayquaza) to defeat the 3 mestirious pokemon and undo the "spell", only you find out that they are controled by Maxie, Archie and a mystirious third character.
What do you think?

P.S.: You choose a new pokemon from a gym themed selection after you beat each gym.

I just started watching you just now and I must the first thing I notice was how you could read gruesome creepypastas and make them adorable...Seriously, you're voice is so sweet and gentle to the point where it's sometimes unsettling how perfectly content you sound...
But anyways, you put out great material with a wonderful speaking voice to compliment it!
another really great thing about the bulbapedia is the game walkthroughs they are detailed and show exactly which Pokémon can appear where
real question is out of everyone who watched the original american airing of Pokemon, who still watches the series i wonder.
I watch it all the time, and will continue to watch it. In fact I'm not even that involved in Pokemon as I was when I was younger because of work and raising my daughter but I can't wait to share it with my daughter when shes old enough!
i still watch and play pokemon/poket monsters and my six savorites are noivern, garchomp, nidoking, charizard/charizard Y, aggron/mega aggron.
My theory behind ash forever 10 is its a cartoon it appeals to kids so he should be young right... it never really bothered me but what really bothered me was how dumb ash is as a trainer like nearly every Pokemon he fully evolves he gives away.Why ash be like red be cool

Bulbapedia is like my best friend when it comes to pokemon and I couldn't believe my ears when two of my friends said they had never heard of it. I'm like it has EVERYTHING about pokemon on it. They told me they used some other site that I've never heard of and when I asked another friend, just to make sure I wasn't crazy, they told me they used bulbapedia or serebii and didn't know what I was talking about and said "How could someone never hear of bulbapedia?"

It's not unreasonable for someone to stop liking something. Do you still like everything you've ever enjoyed in your entire life?
I like the Everlasting Happiness theory. :D I think Ash may lose and go through sadness and have the theory still makes sense is because if you were happy all the time, then you'd start to take the emotion for granted and the Ho Oh's magic was somewhat aware of this. So maybe him having to struggle sometimes is part of his happiness wish so that his happiness never becomes dull. Besides, anything that does make him sad doesn't have a lasting effect. Example death is not permanent, he never loses a loved one to death, and he never sustains permanent injuries from his dangerous encounters. As for him going through loss when it comes to the Pokemon battles, it may be a sort of "with a gift comes a price" thing. He's technically always happy but he can't achieve his dream, because then his life would settle and become somewhat hollow.
Also what you said on your number one kind of restored confidence in my own work. You said something like while you like people who can draw in styles similar to the original show it's good to see someone who has confidence in their own art style. ;A; When I draw, it's a really weird, wonky and lanky style and I've been doing everything I can to change it to something like anime and realized how soulless I was feeling whenever I started drawing. Thank you for making me realize that my style is weird but at least it's mine.

Anyone else remember Pokemon Crater? I started playing it shortly after I moved across the country, and my friend from California told me a about it. We were able to play Pokemon together again. I miss that site... It got remade, but the newer version sucked.

My personal favorite Pokemon fan creations are the comics people make of their Nuzlocke runs. There are a LOT of good stories being told there, and each one is unique. I'm in the process of searching through runs on DA to find the best ones.
I will be sure to check out the Orange Islands rom hack. A little sad that you didn't mention the Nuzlocke challenge which invites a whole new level of difficulty to the games. It makes you cherish each pokemon you get and it helps people appreciate some of the lesser known Pokemon. I also think the fan comics of people detailing their own nuzlockes is a really cool part of the community. Pokemon fans are really awesome most of the time :)

In reference to the Ash Ketchum fan theory: The more likely argument is that the show creators did not want to scrap Ash after the show had been going so well and decided to just keep him instead of make new characters.

Thank you for showing letters to an absent father. Nothing has ever touched me so much in such an emotional way since Marley & Me brought back memories of my first two dogs being put down. I literally cried to the point where I needed tissues, it touched me so much because when I was a kid, my mother almost moved out over night without even letting me say goodbye... She only came back because I texted her telling her I wished I knew. So I don't think I've ever seen anything more relatable.
My #1 would be the concept of the nuzlocke challenge and the original comic to go along with it

If you're into Pokemon fanfiction, let me recommend "Pokemon Master" by Ace Sanchez. Ace wrote it way back at the turn of the millennium and it only covers first generation, but to this day, it is still, hands down, the best Pokemon fanfiction story ever. Most fanfiction is subpar at best, but not Pokemon Master; it actually reads like a dark, suspenseful, action-oriented novel.

Oh definitely! Not only do the tools allow us to be creative and express ourselves, they're also extremely user friendly to the point where 13-year-old me could figure them out!
The only problem I had was that the tools were hosted on a Spanish site and so I had to figure out where the links were with trial and error. Luckily its much easier to guess Spanish then say Japanese. Also its good to see that your very active on reading comments. Really makes the fan base feel like the creator cares about their opinion.

@idkwhateven Yes, he is. But there are many other Jhoto Pokemon in the Indigo League Anime like Togepi or Snubull, and my guess is that Game Freak showcased them before G/S's release to make fans excited. And the fact that Game Freak had actually planned out most of the Jhoto Pokemon, and maybe wanted to share them early.
