There is a Bug/Grass niche in Gen 4 Ubers: Dry Skin Parasect. It slurps up Specs Kyogre's STAB and forces it to switch out, lest it get Spored or humiliatingly killed. Unfortunately if Kyogre isn't using a Choice item or is locked into a non-Water move, Parasect is screwed, which is why it's just a niche.
Always a good Blip video when you see Swadloon, the bug pokemon I know best as having higher attack and HP than Onix, but is also slower than that same Onix.

Aerodactyl was orignally part of the video (As was Rotom Fan) but aero had to be cut, as it took up wayyyy to much screen time. But a solo aero video is a sure possibility.

Pure Hackmons is the format I use on Showdown to make the silliest things that would otherwise be impossible... like a team of bootleg legendary Pokemon like Magikarp with Origin Pulse and Primordial Sea. I always just end up losing though... People are no fun and just use OP pokemon all the time.😔

It can...kinda get you eternamax. I think it may be more that something like Pkhex doesn't support it, but there are ways to edit Pkhex to allow you get Eternamax (I believe the current method involves catching it from changing raid pokemon). I think its moreso decided by what you can obtain in game that can still battle agaisnt someone who does not have an edited game.

If i were to make the set again nowadays, i would use hisuian zoroark for immunities to e-speed and shadow sneak
Shout outs to eisecue in gen 8 PH, since Ice Face is one of the few abilities that doesnt get negated by ngas, which means it can tank every OHKO move in the game. A Also Cramorant with a pikachu on its mouth, who also has one of the few abilities not negated by Ngas, its immune to fissure, and it can force paralysis + 25% damage to everything with gulp missile. this niche in fact also got it banned from Balanced Hackmons!
This is the second time a funny bad pokemon has found a niche just because it counters Proudon (VGC 2016 - Cloud Nine Psyduck OHKOs almost all sets of Proudon, although Golduck is better)
Also speaking of Hackmons: fur coat mega Aggron (people do be gangsta until this thing double cotton guard and sweeps with body press(and btw use smth like aqua tail for ghost and fire types))
Two reasons: This was in geneations before that ability was introduced. Also, Groudon often ran mold breaker, which would get past well-baked body, but not primordial sea.
I made a couple hackmon to experiment with in our games on the handhelds in college; and I got really into Eviolite Type Null. I use it in normal games too but in hackmon I could give it setup and recovery moves to make it into a real powerful bulky sweeper. I was the only one with hacked pokemon though so I was not up against the terrors of the real hackmon threats.
Question, how would an Elektross with Wonder Guard and an Air Balloon item be? Gen 7 and before as the strategy sorta falls apart with Neutralizing Gas. Idk how Hackmon meta works, so that's why I'm asking

However, in OU proper, even though electrode is fast and has a super high crit rate, it suffers from having one usable move, and has a lot of competition with Zapdos, with Zapdos being a great Pokemon. The main difference is, that Zapdos can switch into things, and can deal with Exeggutor, while Electrode reallly doesnt do much. At least thats what I presume with my pretty minimal gen 1 knowledge. Both also get absolutely walled by the Rocks.
Also, forgor bout this, but Jolteon exists. Jolteon is just a bit slower, but has much better stats overall, and hits harder, as well as not loosing out with the lower speed, as the only pokemon with the same/equal speed or aerodactyl and electrode, neither of which are common or can do much to Jolteon. Also, Jolteon has an actual movepool.
