- Watch this one in 4k 🙌🏻 Adrenaline Vans tackled this install of the Agile Offroad - ARB Air Locker Differential and it could not have gone any smoother. Thanks to Tim for giving everyone such an in depth look at how these parts function to give the van a lot more off road capability!

You can't do any better than Adrenaline Vans w/ Tim, Will & Brooke!!! Top Shelf!
VERY NICE TO SEE THE INSTALL THANKS !
This guy works very clean and tidy a true pro. I have a econoline with Dana 60s front and rear, looking to do a arb soon in the rear. Great video very informative. Peace and joy my friend.
Watching this episode and seeing the feeler micrometer being used to measure the backlash in the ring gear reminds me of checking the 0.004"-0.008" axial play the pitch housing on a CH-47 Chinook needs when mounted on a rotor head. These rotor heads use peelable brass shims that start out as 0.029". Each peelable portion is 0.002". They can cut you like a knife quite easily. I usually have to remove between 9 to 11 shims to get the axial play correct. Columbia Helicopters.
Dude I loved this video. Im not very mechanically inclined at all so I really enjoyed the way he step by step narrated what he was doing and why. I feel like he explained it in a way someone like me could understand and follow along. Loved this!
Even though I drive a 96 integra, this was really good seeing a master mechanic. Clean, precise, & a1 work. Everyone can appreciate that. Yeeeee
Tim is a rockstar! Well spoken, knowledgeable, entertaining....awesome job! Love the video! Great information....have a great weekend guys!!
Love seeing what it’s all about and Tim is quite the ACE mechanic! Keep on doing what you’re doing! 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻😎
Great install Tim does great work an so clean & neat. 🔥🔥💙
Very informative and very interesting, thank you, I feel I learned a lot!
Great and very detailed video! Tim`s explanations of the install were awesome and I really like that new breather tube thats going to be installed. Thank you so much. Been thinking about this locker for awhile now. Just talked with Agile last week about installing one of these. This video cemented it for me. I’ll be setting up an install date asap.
Glad this was helpful!
What a great video
Way above my head technically but Tim did a great job breaking it down and making it easy to understand. Great vid 🤙🏻
Great video, appreciated the technical explanation. Just contacted Adrenaline Vans to schedule the upgrade for our sprinter. Will be watching for an update video on how it is working for ya.
Your van will be in good hands at Adrenaline!
Can’t wait to see your new mod in action. 🔥🔥👍💙
This was really interesting. Thanks for filming it.
Really great video Talon and Tim!
Talon..99% complete? Back that up 4%. (1% for each brake) you must have Tim @adrenalinevans install the AgileOffroad BIG brake kit. That 4 cylinder engine offers no engine braking. Don’t pump baby brakes going down steep grade! Too much at risk. Just picked up my Storyteller from Adrenaline with the brakes, locker, amp steps, etc.etc.etc. Tim can ROCK it!
Brakes would count as another 0.1% just like the locker and rally struts. Currently at 99.2% complete 😂
Just put the rears on my STO to complete the setup. Get on our level brah! 🤣
So sick Talon! I need one for my Sprinter! It’s on my future mods list. Hope you are doing well bro!
@talonsei one of the extra must have mods is frame mounted extra fuel tank. Only seen one tank under the van.
I have 47 gallons of fuel with my S&B tank which is wayyy more than enough.
Sold. Love this vid.
Great VERY informative info in this one!!
Great video Thanks Talon
Fantastic video. Technical but still easy to follow and understand. Already purchased the AO Driveshaft Spacer Kit and very glad that I did. Would be super interested in learning how the locker experience goes, because that or a limited slip diff is the next big project for us.
I’ll let you know as soon as I get some testing done!
Good info on the install! However confused about the comments regarding the power splits between 4WD and AWD. Have always thought 4WD was a 50/50 and AWD could vary depending on load, speed, and other factors because of the center differential on those systems.
4WD on sprinters is actually a 33/67 distribution while the awd can be a true 50/50 split depending on where the power needs to be.
@@TalonSei Ah, Sprinter specific. Will look that up some more for geek time. Thanks!
Gotta paint the pumpkin orange. It's only right. 😁
I like technical.
Great video. I’ve seen an alternative locker that is electric. Any comments pro or con as to why one would be better than another? I have a 2023 Sprinter 4x4 as opposed to your AWD if that has bearing on the discussion. Thanks in advance
Would a LSD like an Eaton be better for slippery road conditions than a locker?
Like ZAR
Trying to convince myself to van life in middle 2024
There isn’t a more free way to live 🤘🏼
