Looks great. Love my VC suspension. You might want to consider painting those rear wheel wells with a black undercoating. It makes it blend in really nicely.
Easily one of the best sprinter suspension explanations I've seen. I also really appreciate that they are the only company I've found that will work on my dually. Thanks Talon!
Hey Talon, great video. just got a Ekko and having 6.3 suspension installed in Jan with 295 tires k03. This video really helped me understand the 6.3 a lot. Thanks
Informative vid. Love our 6.3 on our Revel. Also did the full leaf spring replacement. It makes a huge difference on and off road. Only regret is we didnt do the Baja bracket (it was just coming out when we did it). Tire size increase is also coming soon!
You can add Baja Brackets at anytime. It will be a little more costly for install because it’s easier to do when you are doing the rest of the suspension but still totally worth it
the van is looking more WICKED every week. love the stance with the VC suspension on it, so wish we could get the VC stuff in the UK where i live. it works out to expensive to import it privately 😭 looking forward to watching more of your build out.👍👍👍👍
That thing looks mean! I'll be honest, I never thought of the Sprinter as a capable platform. Now yours looks like it's got enough ground clearance to actually make it up a decent trail, you know, minus the size constraints.
Had vancompass on my van. Was a beast with that setup! Would love a back to back comparo video of taking this van out vs the taco +kimbo on the same trail. Reviewing how the perform /differ
Thanks for the detailed video! I was curious now that you’ve put a few miles on it, if it has preformed as promised? If so, are there any pre-tuning changes you would make during install? I’m ready to add suspension to my Revel and was hoping you could pass on any notes or tips that you’ve learned after install and heavy use. TIA! Love your vids! Keep up the cool content!
Very Interesting... On a 3500 Dually and in the procees to Single it, will this kit work with it with 295/17 tires without trimmings? and another thing should I opt to replace the front original shocks to a coil over while using the part on top for camber and caster, will it work with wheel spacers of half inch?
Hello, Great Video. I am curious as to what tire size you have on the Van? or at least what size was on the van when the 6.3 kit was installed. I have 275/70-17 but am not sure if the tires will look too small for the 6.3 Kit?
Very informative video. Thanks. I’m about to put a 6.3 package on my ‘25 (‘23 chassis) Sprinter Ekko. I notice that I often see the OEM front strut left in place. Is there no advantage to replacing it with a Van Compass 3.3 inverted strut? I figure once we have it in suspension upgrade mode wouldn’t it be worthwhile to maximize the return in labor by swapping out the factory strut that I assume is just as lacking as the rear damper? Thank you.
VanCompass for the win! Very excited to see you test them out on the trail! I assume you are sticking with the same wheels or switching out the K02s as well?
Wish I could use the VC suspension 6.3 in Australia , If I put it on here the Police would put me off the road. It amazes me the mods you guys can do that are illegal here can't even run more that 265 tyres. They even make AWD different from 4x4's . An AWD you can't really change at all.
Kings just came to market recently and just designed a truck setup to fit on sprinter vans. These are specifically designed and tuned for vans like this making them much better suited for the application.
EXCELLENT VIDEO.!!
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY HOW A 9000 POUND VAN
IS LIFTED CORRECTLY.
THE DETAILS ARE VERY IMPORTANT...
Thanks to the awesome video! We can't wait to get you further dialed in in the next few months.
Your whole crew rocks… and I can’t wait either 😏
I had no idea how badly I needed this kit until I watched this. Well worth the watch.
Looks great. Love my VC suspension. You might want to consider painting those rear wheel wells with a black undercoating. It makes it blend in really nicely.
It’s on my list, just haven’t gotten to it yet
Nice! Really like the 6.3 on my Revel and looking forward to VC releasing their inverted struts.
Sick!! 😮. Wo!!! Beast of a beast. When the time is right we will be going directly to VanCompass. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to do that install. 👍
Easily one of the best sprinter suspension explanations I've seen. I also really appreciate that they are the only company I've found that will work on my dually. Thanks Talon!
Sprinter can't go off road not dirt trails 😮
Econoline 4x4 8inch lift on 37s dual locker. The work on changing settings is the suspension Job, not a person
@@sebastianslife91 why are you upset? Haha where did the sprinter van touch you?
Hey Talon, great video. just got a Ekko and having 6.3 suspension installed in Jan with 295 tires k03. This video really helped me understand the 6.3 a lot. Thanks
Looks great Talon.....just had my 6.3 installed with Toyo's Open Country AT3's 285/70R/17 - night and day difference in handling
Thank you Talon. Just had VC 6.3 installed last week 👍👍. 35 wheel/ tires on my VS30.
Holy shhhhhhh... That looks badass! Love the wheels as well! Nice!!!!
Thanks 👍

Looks Great nice job with all you have done 👍💙🔥🔥
Extremely comprehensive - love it! Would like to hear more opinions about returning to add the baja-bracket after initial shock-install.
You can add Baja Brackets at anytime. It will be a little more costly for install because it’s easier to do when you are doing the rest of the suspension but still totally worth it
Van looks great with wheels and tires. You will love the shocks

Thanks Stephen! Hopefully you can find a way to get VC in the UK soon 👌🏻
Great nerdy content!!! Looks like an awesome upgrade!!
Awesome explanation on the lift. Great content as always dude ✌️
That thing looks mean! I'll be honest, I never thought of the Sprinter as a capable platform. Now yours looks like it's got enough ground clearance to actually make it up a decent trail, you know, minus the size constraints.
They are surprisingly capable, especially with upgraded suspension.
Mannn the stance looks so good with the 6.3 kit! Great video Talon!
Thanks man! 👊🏻
The sway issue can also be resolved with a helwig sway bar
Very much appreciate the detailed info. Were there any after effects with the dynamic cruise control following the upgraded tire size?
No effects with the size on the 23’ luckily! Everything works as normal 👍🏻
Beard looks fab
Also….any idea if there is a Baja Bracket out for the 3500 Sprinter yet?
Had vancompass on my van. Was a beast with that setup!

My god I want this kit on my Storyteller so bad

Hey Talon, I know they have lockers for the new all wheel drive sprinters this is something you should consider for the new sprinter.
I’m waiting until I hear more about it. I want to test the AWD to its full potential now that I have the ground clearance before I make that decision.

This was filmed before that released. I have a video of installing the new struts here on the channel too 👍🏼
Very cool. Thanks for the quick reply.
Sprinter is unibody
How much of an mpg impact do you expect?
What's the new VC component? I missed the memo on their socials... I'm also running the 6.3
Lookes straight up Jacked 💪🏼
It’s ready for monster jam
@@TalonSei SUNDAY, Sunday, SUNDAY!
Tell us more about the VC x.3 add on that is coming!
I wish I could… all I can say is that it’s going to be worth the wait 🙌🏻👀
@@TalonSei Nice! I chose the x.3 rather than wait for the x.5 when there were supply issues. You saying I made the right choice?🤫
Well the .3 vs .5 is just the manual vs electronic. This new add on will work with either.
VanCompass for the win! Very excited to see you test them out on the trail! I assume you are sticking with the same wheels or switching out the K02s as well?
I talk more about the wheel and tire setup in my last video - ua-cam.com/video/QpT8Q623r2o/v-deo.html
Try econoline. Can actually go off the road. 😢

Talon, how does the engine performance feel with the large tires?
It feels great. Even better than my 4x4 felt and these tires are even bigger.
Do the 285’s effect the gearing? I’ve heard it does with 35’s but not sure w/ 34’s.
These tires are 33.9” and surprisingly all of the systems still work. You could regear but it’s not necessary.
this is all really cool but man that looks expensive lol
The epicness of this build is out of the world already! What’s on the agenda with the old van?
Going up for sale
Wider tires next!!! And maybe spacers? Looks like a sunfish
Wide tires than this and spacers end up creating a whole bunch of new issues. This setup is perfect for me and how I use my storyteller.
Looks aren't everything. Function > form.
Brakes?
The braking system on the new chassis is very good but the 17” wheels will allow me to fit a big kit as well
These sprinters suck.. had one. Got 4x4 econoline body on frame.
why does everyone buy the cheaper shocks and not something like kings are beyond me
Kings just came to market recently and just designed a truck setup to fit on sprinter vans. These are specifically designed and tuned for vans like this making them much better suited for the application.
Why get a van that can off road . 😢😢100k gone coming from millionaire
