I know this video is almost a year old now. But changing to that SS3 VVT cam. Why did you not upgrade your trunnions on rockers. Or hope you have done so by now?
I am looking for that deep sound like you have for my LS3 vette. Thinking of getting a stage 1 package but dont want a high pitched nasaly back-firing piece of junk. What makes that sound rich and deep?
How will it run with the gears ? I just did an EPS cam with Frankenstein stage 2 heads. I have a 3200 Circle d stall with the 391s. Havnt had it to the track yet with this set up.
Man i love your channel it's very informative ....I remember when you were cammed ,headers,tires stock converter and gear( like me except i have the ported heads already lol) and ran 11.4s do you think a 150 shot of nitrous wouldve been more effective than the other mods?
Dude get some 3:73 gears you won’t regret it. I have pretty much same setup but tsp stage 3 . Zl1 rear and trans I just put 3m73s and it made a Hugh difference.
I am having a hesitation issue since new cam install car is going back to tuner next week to get figured out after that I’ll post times hesitation isn’t serious just causing an intermittent hesitation which I don’t want to track it until found and fixed

Did you have to up size your stall converter for the bigger cam?
Ss3 is recommended with 4000 stall. My 4c converter is 3800-4000 so I should be fine

So GPI recommended 3.91s and a 4000 stall with this setup. Gonna throw the 3.91 diff back in and it should be good to go. Lemme know how yours does

With powerbond pulley, did your ac squeal? Since i hear it’s occasional thing when you add underdrive pulley
Funny you should ask, I did have an annoying squeal but it turned out to be a crappy Gates serpentine belt. Bought a Continental Belt and it was fine

Should be more than 100hp more right? With all the mods you listed.
We'll see! Bigger cam 25-30hp, heads 25hp, ewp 12-15hp, udp 10hp, manifold 15-20hp was my quick guess

What is the difference from GPI and Texas speed ?
Texas speed was cheaper to do the work and cheaper to ship
