Super clean!!!!!!
Mark my words....if this channels continues to consistently post content of this caliber on this platform (and other popular platforms down the road) your channel will be Goonzquad, B is for Build, Gingium status. This DIY car culture is growing and these types of detailed how to videos are the secret sauce
Well that aged poorly 😅
@@mathmetalworks I know right!? "consistently post content" didn't happen they waited 2 years to post another video. What a shame
those cards look wicked cool!
Well nuts are great too. Great job, great tutorial.
God loves you
Because of video's like this I picked up some 1/8 inch thick wood at Home Depot, bought some material and replaced the door cards on my 91 Miata.
What did you use the hold the card to the door?
@@rauldeu719 The 91 has little plastic tabs that run around 3 sides that I drilled holes for, filed them out till they fit near perfect, that's what holds them in. I had to resend some edges so it didn't get hung up on the door frame but it all came together pretty nice. Took a little longer than I expected but that's no big deal.
@@johnnycee5179 ok cool, where did you get the rivnut hardware from and the bolts?
@@rauldeu719 A place called Mike's Miata, online business is called Miata Mecca. He has just about everything you could want for a Miata. 602-253-1136 is the phone number. Him and his wife Ann run the little shop in Phoenix, Az
Super clean, I can't wait to do a similar project on my street car
Door cards look sweet! Great explanations, especially on the nutserts. Love the enthusiasm with the finished pieces!
awesome content, keep posting consistently and the channel will blow up!
carlos c Thank you for your support! We have so much more to come-stay tuned :)
@@PacificNorthMedia where are you from? I'm from Montreal, I'm on my 2nd NA and I have been dying to start my own channel too, but it's super hard to have a place to work on your car here lol
We are located in Vancouver BC. It rains a lot here, so we work around the weather. My advice to you is, just start filming! Let us know when you start your channel-we will definitely sub and follow you on your journey!
Great Video and great result. Thank you very much.
The door cards look really good!
These are beautiful, saved the video so I can make mine!!
This is such a dope channel 👌🏿
So sad when your videos end lol great videos and how you present them looking forward to saving up for a Miata and or applying your content to other cars
This was a great video. Stoked we found you guys! We just finished building our track civic and and now building our track accord. Very similar build with the work put in . Looking forward to doing my cards on our next videos. Thanks for the help.
Where are you located? We are in San Diego.
No new videos!? I'm loving the hell out of the channel. Hope you guys come back!
what thickness is the sheet?
I've been starting to watch all your episodes. Pretty interesting.
Student Room, thank you for the support!
Does it get more hot from the aluminum?
Awesome video, how much did the aluminum cost to do both doors?
dead meme, I bought a 8 foot by 4 foot sheet of 14 gauge aluminum from a local metal supplier. I had them cut it in half and then one of the halves in half again. The whole sheet cost $130.00 CAD. I thought I would be able to make 4 door cards from the whole sheet but if I had laid the templates out better I could actually get 6. So realistically, to make 2 door cards, you only need a 4 foot by 4 foot sheet which cost half the price I paid.
Why don’t you post videos anymore?
So what is the point of the foamboard template? Why not skip that step and use the door card to make the shape on the Aluminum sheet?? Oh and does it rattle?
