Rob hand delivered it, and then went home to japan
That made laugh more than it should have
Logan Taylor same! I saw him and thought, “that guy looks familiar.” And then he said that. I just imagine him grabbing the part, flying to them, dropping it off in person, and then immediately flying back.
I know right...
1000dollar part right there
I wish I had a Rob to hand deliver parts from japan.
It’s the only way to get them overnight. ;)
"First jack up your car." in conjunction with the OG-driveway-modding-music! I almost feel nostalgic... :-)
Bost2301 best part
I had to double-check the upload date lol
When he said wizard's coat,I started singing Electric Space Wizard too.
MOOG's "Transforner" always gets the job done.
A fun little throw back to the old school MCM with a bit of the current touch... just like their nuggety car :-D
the music is what got me
Somewhat, as I have learned over the years is overly personalizing your car detracts from it's resale value. That's why the Hot Import Night era cars get resold over and over again...
@@dj4monie I don't own or modify cars for the resale value. You need to enjoy the car. The best resale value is to not modify your car at all unless it's guaranteed to be in a movie or something. If you want to make money in general, don't invest in depreciating assrts...
Man this feels like Mighty Car Mods of old, i really missed these kind of videos. smashed the hell of the like button for this
Agreed, personally I love the way they evolved their shows, but these old school DIY videos are so enjoyable.
True
Before hitting the like button, first you need to jack up your car

They used a bunch of older music from moog, reminds me to the "electric supercharger episode"
moog: absolutely grot
Also moog: immediately places on face
At least he didnt lick it and make himself sick again
*immediately puts it in mouth
Bad Obsession Motorsport version: Make it out of folded sheet aluminium and 17 custom fabricated brackets.
and then attach some dodgy plastic molding from a Micra
Those guys are guns at what they do!
@@mightycarmods You're not wrong!
HShaud dont foget the added lightness!
Dont forget to get the funk out
The OG music... Great nod to your old style of doing vids!
I wish they were released though
Transformer by Moog from 2012ish ❤️
@@Leofred2000 any ideal the ending song ?
Dipsy sew it seams

I wasn't expecting coat to be the word that followed wizard's.
Me neither, tbh
I was expecting scrotum
Wizard scroat
I was expecting the word "sleeve". ua-cam.com/video/IDPNWfK8zwc/v-deo.html
He was gentle, in today’s SJW world, Moog’s got this.
Thank you for reminding me to jack up the car Moog, i always forget to do so when i work on my Mira's door trims
MCM Top Tips
Proper old school style episode and I love it!
I love that after all these years, they still keep the old "jack up your car" joke going. Shows they are still aware of where they came from, from a driveway.
Weird, got this sudden urge to buy Ryobi power tools 🤷🏼♂️
I've bought loads of them. I really like them.
If you are a pro who drills (or whatever) all day every day they probably wont last a year.
If you are a DIY enthusiast they will probably last forever.
I've burned out about half a dozen cheap cordless drills over the last 20 years. One of my Ryobi drills is about 5 years old now. The rubber is falling off but it's still doing the job like the day I bought it (with new batteries).
What I really like is the range of tools you can get for the money. Why spend £400 on one tool when you can get a small collection (or a bunch of batteries) for the same money!
Lol my Ozito cordless is 6 years old and somehow still going strong.
My Black&Decker that I got in a box of crap for $5 that's probably older than I am is the superior drill though. 1970s or early 80s maybe? Can't do self tappers for shit but it'll drill a hole through the entire universe.
I like ryobi stuff but I do have a Dewalt cordless drill and omg it is vastly "superior" to anything else I have....
LOL really? That's what companies you want to do when they sponsor some stuff.. :P If you feel the urge to buy that stuff you are an easy prey for the big companies ;)
Heres a lifehack.. get the tools with a cord and you wont have to worry about batteries
Hey guys thanks for doing what you do, my dad and I have watched the whole series even from season 1 so thank you for these MAD years and here’s to many many more
I love that you guys have put this much work and love into this car - a lot of YT channels have gone to super cars, Lamborghini and stuff, but you've shown that it's OK to have a nugget and enjoy it. Rock on.
I’m actually super impressed with how these turned out, been cringing at my door cards for nearly 6 years. I’m going to give this a go!
Thanks for all that you guys do to entertain us! I bought a 1990 Miata last year and ordered a Chopped fingers keychain to go with it. My daughter has been hounding me for it ever since she first saw it haha! I just placed an order for another one, plus some other goodies for her and me both. I'm proud to rep your show, and again, thanks for all you do!
I love how you are doing a proper restomod job on this car.
Like travelling back in time with the style of DIY and the old school music. LOVE IT!
I love the purity of your show. Ive been watching since mcm vs roadkill and never looked back. Soon after was when roadkill started charging but you guys keep going. No patrion just merch and sponcers. I love the show... keep it up
There's something truly special about restoring 80s/90s cars and trucks that goes unsaid. Especially the one's that are overlooked nowadays because "hard to find parts for". I consider it a challenge. Kudos on the Bad Ass Mira!!
My door Tims need to be less like Tims and more like Johns
Scott Podium Finish Media naughty tims 😡
Are comments won’t make sense to anyone that see’s them now aha but your comment is great 😂
BO0O0O0O0O0O0 big boo 👎🏻 They should’ve just left it and owned it
Scott Podium Finish Media I was thinking the same thing
Last time I was this early, I was 13 and looking for cheap ways to mod my first car (remember the $500 Mira)

Really love to see this kind of olde style MCM video(this music bring lots of old memories). They never get old... Continually watching you guys since 2009... Much love from Sri Lanka 🇱🇰
Love your show, perfect mix between seeing people actually doing things and being entertaining. Keep it up guys, your awesome 😃😃
So glad you’ve posted I’ve been checking everyday for your new videos. Been so bored haha
These are the kind of vids that got me hooked on this show. Love that little car, and she deserves every bit of effort ye put into her.
Thanks for going back to this layout for a video. Makes me feel like you guys are still humble.
Great work guys, love the retro mcm feel, definitely brings back some memories!
Got some old school vibes from this little diy style video. Loved it. Can't wait to see the Mira out on track
Really glad the DIY's are back. Missed them.
5:14 For anyone who is redoing door materiel you can use wool felt!
It's cheap, easy to work, very forgiving comes in a multitude of colours and also helps with sound deadening from the outside world furthermore it also helps with speaker setups (hence why they use it in subwoofer builds) It can be glued down all the same and can be sown together with ease if you want a MaAaaD design and or two tone. Actually looks quite regal if done well.
I might actually do this myself for my Falcon now, just to see if I can do it. Thanks for putting this one out guys!
G'day lads, thanks for the quality content! Keep it coming.
I love that this episode was kinda of a throwback to the old days. Even the music was the same. Enjoyed the show guys
Love this Old Skl MCM is back and better than ever here’s to 10 more years 👍🏼
Nice Job on the door panels. Not all are that easy to make or repair. But that was just simple and basic what you did, and improves the build 100%.
Thanks for the video. I was looking for a video like this that didn't make me lose interest since I'm going to be redoing my door panels in a couple of weeks.
I literally just bought a ryobi corded heat gun the other week, now I've gotta buy a cordless one. God damn it!
What are the odds
Finally! A diy video like old times. I love the build vids, but the step by step for dummies videos are your best in my opinion.
I miss this sort of content from you guys and my ute definitely needs a makeover like this 😊 keep up the great work
The mira looks so clean! Respect project!
A true vintage MCM how to episode, just like to old days. Keep it up guys.
Just in time for me to get my door trim / cards re done! Gear video super helpful . Thanks Moog and Marty!

So nice to see the Mira so close to done, what a special nugget
Idk if yall were on a time crunch but this was all real fast, I think Marty is just so excited to get this nugget done which is really endearing
Love the new TIMS guys 😂😉❤
Everybody : Uses the workbench to show necessary tools
MCM: Drop it on the floor like years ago.

Great video guys!!! Another diy!!! Now I know how a mate did fluffy interior panels in his Gemini, and a guest visit from rob thanks rob!!!!
Loved hearing Sew it Seams at the end!

I loooove it when you guys do DIYs👌👌👌😁
FINALLLY YOUR BACK TO THE OLD STUFF!!!!!!!!!
Congrats on Completing(?) the Mira, it's great to see a car brought back up to such glory...
Well, it's still missing a headliner. Marty's cars never get headliners..
enjoyed the vibe in this vid!
Love the og feel of this episode! That old school music takes me back.
When I was doing this for my early 90's Corolla, the door cards were mirrored, which made my process a lot faster. This kind of job is also so much easier with a router and patterning bit, especially with mirrored door cards: Double side tape the old to new, old to new to new in my case, do an oversized jigsaw cut, then take it to the router. Not only do you reduce time by reducing cuts, but you're also doing less setup for each step.
I only ended up dong my own because it was becoming too difficult to find door cards within my car's own spec. At some point they changed from all wood to half plastic and half wood, and I believe the latest years of it changed to full plastic. Each type of door card also had their own style, it wasn't just a move from wood to wood+plastic to plastic, but each style changed a noticeable amount, and I wasn't entirely comfortable with the change, especially if I couldn't find matching front and rear cards.
Sadly the car was totaled while I was fixing up the interior. RIP that nugget.
I have always wondered how to do this thank you guys
Love the OG format
Very cool tutorial! Tks guys!
Very nice work guys.
Yay some old school MCM, love it guys 👌🏻
This feels like an old skool episode 😎😎😎🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for the knowledge!! Looks great!!
I'm glad to see MCM is doing more cheap at home car mods
Nothing like finishing all your college work to be rewarded with an MCM video
Grizzly Garage bruh, 2013 just flashed before my eyes.
While I do enjoy all the engine and drivetrain swaps, it's very nice to see a back to basics project that is something I can (and probably will be) do to my car. Thanks.
All that’s missing is the noisy bird that we used to hear in some of the driveway vids 😂😂😂 great vid. Simple and to the point.
love this old school style mcm vid!
I wish I watched this before I tried mine this weekend. MAN did I screw it up! Great tips here!
Loving the series 1 music throwback and the obligatory "first jack up your car" reference :-)
Awesome Episode. I need to do my trims on me 80 series Legends.
Best car on UA-cam!
This is the MCM I didn't know I needed. My God my nugget needs this!!!!!
