Eddie was, is and will always be the GOAT (greatest guitarist that has ever lived)! No one has ever inspired more people to begin playing music, especially the guitar than Eddie Van Halen. A GOD among meer children when it comes to musical talent. Genius, Savant, Musical prodigy, a mythical musical creature from another planet!!! He will forever be missed by everyone!!!!

Proof that the man makes the instrument, not the reverse. He made this one out of spare parts that don't even go together, threw about half of them away, and he made that guitar worth millions.

Literally the most Beautiful guitar ever made, played by The Greatest Guitarist ever...Got to see Van Halen Live 16 times and his solo always had the crowd going nuts...Listen to his Son's band called Mammoth WVH...His son Wolfgang plays every instrument and does all the vocals on both of their albums and hires a touring band to go on the road...

Eddie was the ultimate GOAT!! He never learned how to read music but he was still able to become the greatest guitarist that has ever existed. He was a poor young man that had an insatiable desire to play music. He made his first electric guitar by using a guitar body second from a guide manufacturer and choosing the pieces of his guitar that he felt were the very best for the sound that he wanted his guitar to have. Pickups from one type of guitar and other things from other guitars until he had created what has become known as The "Frankenstrat". A #1 only guitar that no one had ever imagined creating and in the hands of EDDIE it became the guitar that every kid that wanted to be like Eddie had to have. That is why when EDDIE got together with a guitar manufacturer he created his own signature line of guitar's known as "THE EVH". One of the most popular guitars that are sold now. If you ever have the time I would suggest that you watch the history of the greatest guitarist EDDIE VAN HALEN. You will not be disappointed!!!

I bawled like a baby when Eddie passed. When feeling down and at the lowest times in my life I can put his music on and feel GOOD every time! When you teach yourself to play, build your guitar to make it sound exactly the way you want it to, have the talent to create music along with great lyrics, and have INSANE alien skills to play like that there is no equal or question who the greatest guitarist is and that is Eddie Van Halen. You will always be missed and never forgotten. I love you Eddie and thanks.

Eddie came to America after WWII from Holland. Couldn't speak English. His dad was a musician and they were classically trained on piano. He built his own guitars and never learned to read music. He did the guitar on Michael Jacksons, Beat It, on his off time. Free of charge
No if's, but's, or what's, one of the greatest rock guitarist of all time. He played in a band named after himself called Van Halen. They made a song called Jump (official video) which I think would be interesting to have on your channel.
I was looking forward to watching Brothers in Arms by Dire Straights earlier but it was gone. If it was blocked there is an official music video of it which is fabulous, and it is played on other channels.
