How to use glasses with the Meta Quest 2.

- Are you wondering if you can wear glasses with you meta quest 2. If you are the answer is you can.
The quest even comes with a glasses spacer in the box so you will have everything you will need from day 1.
As a glasses wearer myself I find the quest comfortable to wear with glasses and they really help me to focus on the screen.
The spacer doesn’t really affect other users so I keep mine installed all the time. Although you can remove it in between uses if you want too.
In this video I will show you how easy it is to fit the glasses spacer so you can use it with your meta quest 2.
The first thing you are going to need to do is remove the padding so you can install the spacer.
First of all you want to remove the top part of the padding, There are 2 clips holding it in place. The clips can make the top of the padding difficult to remove, and you might feel like you are going to break it. But just use a little force and it will come off.
You can then repeat the same process on the bottom of the unit, where where are another 2 clips holding it on,
You now need to install the spacer. Start at the bottom and make sure the 2 clips are positioned correctly. Once you have installed the bottom you should push in the 2 clips on the top.
You should now repeat the same process to put the padding back onto the spacer, don’t forget to start at the bottom.
It really is as simple as that.

This video is a lifesaver! I juz got my meta Quest 2 but the instructions didn't explain how to install the glass case so I was at a complete loss but thank goodness I happened to land on your video!

Do you find a spacer for quest 3?
I always remove the spacer after my brother goes on it he has glasses I find that it makes the fov worse. The only issue is that sometimes pops of and lands on the lenses which hopefully wont scratch them
I'm thinking about buying the meta quest 2, but have 2 queries - Can I wear my glasses with it - and are there games where the user can be sitting still {I'm disabled and cant stand / walk without my crutch}
