Looks like they didn't pay for a dodgy windows activation key in their budget though Dawid! Did you? Lol
you lost for cpu but your gpu is better so if you conbine allixepress and wish you get a solid gaming pc what a suprise
Does your fire insurance cover Wish computers? Have you been honest with your insurance agent?
Them brovs are gay
Nice collab!
It’s actually a time traveling motherboard I/O shield that came back from the future after the PSU blew up David’s house. Dawid himself is foreshadowing his own demise.
As a time traveller from the future who came back in time to watch this video I can confirm.
I can confirm this, I was the power supply
Well now I’m terrified. 😅
@@DawidDoesTechStuff yes
@@DawidDoesTechStuff Yes indeed, me too!
It’s really funny Dawid didn’t check the power supply first. It was so clearly the “one of these things is not like the other.”
Lol
I knew right away (as most of us did) that PS was going to be the downfall; I'm only surprised it didn't catch fire immediately after powering on.
PSU most likely supports only standard 220V/50 Hz . Other than that, Wish is not scam site anymore ?
Haha! Yeah, When I first opened the PSU, I was like “this is definitely not going to work” but when the RGB lit up it tricked me into thinking the PSU was working. 😅
@@DawidDoesTechStuff lol
It's kind of insane that you managed to get a real rtx 2060
yeah what are the odds when it's from wish🤔🤔
Yea but it had a DVI port...I’ve never seen an RTX card with one of those...
@@jaredchampagne2752 I have an RTX 2060 with a DVI
was probably used for crypto mining
@@TheMustardisbad no
You should do a video with used graphics cards that look like they definitely spent most of their lives in the mines
That’s a very good idea. 😃
Oh yeah, in 4-way SLI! Like four call girl retirement party cards.
@@DawidDoesTechStuff lol if you do i have a 3070 you can use on loan thats been mining since new + still going today lol
@@darrellm4794 I still have my two GTX-660 SLI cards lmao
I bought a cheap R9 290 that was full of spiders and chicken shit and was rusty. I reckon it was mined on.
"Neither the power supply nor the case came with the correct screws."
Did you check the screws that came with the memory? 🤣
you have to love it when ram comes with a screw driver and screws🤣
The fact that dawid even got a real RTX 2060 from wish is suprising on its own.
Looks like Wish implemented some kind of scam protection lately, due to negative coverage they got.
not really it happens all the time just pick the proper rtx 2060 one that costs reasonably close to a real rtx 2060 and you get a real one buy one that seems to good to be true and get ripped off
its galax pretty reputable
@@raven4k998 Seems true
@@joe-bw6wy Galax is the best. They used to be the only good option for white GPUs. The old HOF cards were the best. We just didn't get them in the US.
The fact that 2 UA-camrs (you and LTT) have gotten screwdrivers with their Wish RAM is absolutely hysterical.
My best guess is they intend these RAM kits as upgrades and include the driver to help you open your system in case you don't have one but I have to wonder how many people would buy a RAM kit without already owning a driver
i have received the same screw driver a few times years ago with fake vape atty's lol
@@chdn My bet is that the factory that dumps these out were just told to put a screwdriver with all the electronics
Would that have anything to do with possibly using that memory in a laptop? Say, to help secure the RAM through the holes on the ends? (Since it'd probably be lying horizontally)
Toasty Bros lost their intro, and you had two. I think you deserve some recognition for that fact alone.
😂
He's much better than them in terms of entertainment

Hey Dawid, i just want to say, that i really enjoy your videos. You seem very eager to show the world your opinion in a fun way and i think that you appear to be an authentic person. Really. I enjoy your videos and always happy to watch them
Thank you so much for the nice comment. 😃 I really enjoy making these videos, so I’m glad you enjoy it.
I love that the ram came with the screwdriver.
I've forgotten my screwdriver before installing my ram before and it was a nightmare.
you did
I can confirm that this Build did in fact inflict severe emotional damage on Dawid 😂
The PSU lighting up the fans but then not actually working… that’s just mean!
How are you still with him after witnessing him singing that chant he was drumming along to in the alternate intro?
I seriously was laughing out loud at that by the way!
How did Nico the Cat react when Dawid finished the build?😂
@@jeffreypaul9428 I'm wondering how she tolerates those overused innuendos and constant whining he does
@@crylune she does it out of love
and that's true love by the way not fake love🤣
When I built a new system in 2019, I put my old FX-8350 system in that exact case. Because of that "pretend front ventilation", I had to dremel out two 120mm fan mounts in that front panel. It's great now!
That screwdriver with RAM thing is so strange, Mr. Yeester also got the same accessories when he was buying RAM from wish. They must just have a packaging assembly line and that is part of the packaging for generic tech thing
they think its a card for a PCI, PCI-E, or X2 style storage device.
4:23 I bought a very similar CPU cooler 2 years ago from Aliexpress, the Snowman M-X6. At the time, it was only €15. Very surprising performances, on my i5 3470.
Oh, and 14:06... Just remove the entire bracket from the back of the motherboard, with the cooler still attached. Then, remove the cooler from the bracket.
Yep, that's how it's done!
The Corsair 100R case is a decent one. I have the 200R, next step up...very nice. I don't know if you did this for dramatic effect, but an experienced builder, such as yourself, should certainly be aware of the difficulties involved in connecting the power supply CPU cable. That's why the smart thing to do, after installing the mobo, is to connect that cable, BEFORE you install the cooler. Much simpler.
Some cases have much better access, mid towers not so much.
That CPU cooler clip seems easiest to mount/unmount, but actually doing it is a very different experience than trying to unmount my old Cryorig cooler lol
Haha!! Yeah, it was deceptive.
I really like the look of that CPU cooler. Looks like a steal for the price.
I’m really not sure if any other tech UA-camr is as entertaining to watch as you. Great vid and hilarious 😂
as someone who loves tech stuff but doesn't suuuuper give a crap about what's late and great... dawid is my fave. he's entertaining and explores the nooks of the tech world in a way that's fun, relatable, and ?accidentally? educational.
agreed great vid, which is par for the course. lol
I love all your commentary description of the parts. I was laughing so much and really enjoyed this abomination of a PC build.
It's honestly impressive that beast was almost running Cyberpunk at 60fps on high.
That power supply looks like something I wouldn't be comfortable leaving alone.
you see you see the power supply is critical to making the system work as he shows with the first crappy power supply
You can tell a lot about a man by the way he applies his thermal paste! 👍
😂😂😂
Normally I skip the sponsoring at the beginning of videos, but yours was presented in such a fun and cool way that I actually kept watching. Your sponsors don't even know what gem they have in you.
Better stronger and more virile
14:34-That's a rookie but common mistake even to the PC enthusiasts
Appreciate you outing yourself with that cooler sticker 😂 Stay humble my dude you’re killing it
😂
AH!!! How I love Dawid's videos!!! The laughing relaxes me so much. You sir certainly have a gift.
He has an awesome presence 😂
Wow, I've pitched this idea on one of the famous tech UA-cam... Very pleased to see this idea in your channel...Like products/brands that are new/unrecognizable of every parts of the PC. Thank you so much!
Your videos get better and better. Love the content you put together. Plus doing a challenge with other UA-cam creators is fun to see on the ideas each have. Keep up the great work.
i don't normally comment but i had to to let you know the second intro was amazing and definitely should do more intros like that and keep experimenting though because your style of comedy in tech video's is unparalleled
It's true. I came here for the technical content but now I come here for the comedy.
I felt your pain with that cpu cooler.
I hate clip on coolers, they are terrible.
LOL love the unused intro. I think we need more intros with Dawid providing the backing music. It really set the tone lol. Videos are fantastic love the content, keep it up!!!
Haha!! Thanks!
Love this! Definitely need to see more head to head battles between you and Toasty Bros. Subscribing now!
You should set the cpu power plug cable in before you screw the motherboard on to your cabinet, so that more easy for you to get the cables back around back on the motherboard
Can confirm, my emotions are now permanently damaged.
Hilarious watching you build it using that tiny screwdriver. I'd expect nothing less.
My tower is more-or-less built off aliexpress and I am generally quite happy with it
I plan to dump a 2698v3 16-core, 32gb more ddr4 and an rtx3060 into it in december and call it a day though.....Epyc's are getting cheap and i want something newer haha
"Feels like a really stupid idea" is exactly what I'm here for!
This is what I love about Dawid's videos, the item descriptions! Never fails to make me laugh!
At 13:04, the exhaust fan had a hard time spinning up. Felt something sus with the power delivery.
A small overclock on that Xeon would definitely save it and get those fps up 👍😇. All in all, I’m surprised that Wish actually could get you everything you need to build a pc 🤩🤯
It's a locked Xeon and an H61 mobo, there's no overclocking.
I recently build a computer with a scythe fuma 2 in a BeQuiet Pure Base 500FX for a colleague, so I do know the feeling of not getting to the CPU 8pin connector.
On the plus side: There is a hole for the 8pin. On the not so plus side: I also had to do RGB wiring up there.
I have that exact Corsair case running my PC (minus the accoustic foam), does the job fine!
I actually really enjoyed the alternate introduction, but the graphic of baby Dawid made me 😂. Thanks again Dawid- amazing content as always.
First time in a long time I didn’t skip past the sponsored content and it was totally worth it! 😂😂
Haha right? It was so funny
In terms of performance you did quite well for the money! Just goes to show how important a decent PSU is to get everything else going. That rusty or previously ingested io shield is a deal breaker for me though. 🤣
Crap PC components magically transmogrified into hilarious and quality content - a complete Dawid Does Tech package right there - this is an awesome video idea.
The ram came with the screws and driver used from the public library PC it was jacked out of, how nice of them!
This was super fun! Loved watching your video and a little jealous of that RTX 2060.... 😂💯. Great job and looking forward to future collaborations.
Your videos are rip off prebuilts, that is it. You never comment about the negative comments you get.
Not sure I would dare plug that psu into my wall socket. Really sus. You are braver than I, good sir. Think I had that same corsair case for one of my older builds.
Being a gary I knew that power supply wouldn't work.
I have that case. It's designed to super quiet which is why it has that liner. It also has a manual fan speed switch on the rear.
i really want to see that GPU tested on a decent system. It was probably a mined up 2060 but its still not that bad of a deal.
does it not look to new for that? i dont recon there has been mining done on that thing (or the people that sold it are realy good at cleaning)
@@jochemarends2035 could have been cleaned... its really not too difficult. I do believe it was likely new though to be honest. But not because of cleanliness. Mostly going off the gpu anti static bag having the yellow seal, etc... well i suppose that could be faked too... lol pointless post by me oops
@@jochemarends2035 Recently there was a photo that surfaced of miners power washing their old GPUs.
This PC build reminds me of the time I tried to replace the motherboard on a 2004 iMac - I’ve been bald since that experience.
Too bad the “1000 watt” power supply crapped out. Oh well, I was going to suggest trying out the Nvidia 4090 on this system when it is released.
Sorry to hear about the Mac induced hair loss. 😂
I agree, I was really disappointed the PSU died. I did want to try it with a 3090 or 4090.
That intro you clipped in at the end was GODLIKE!
I recognize that PSU.
That's an OEM type PSU that people but by the truckload and rebrand, and it's very much not 1000W (550W IIRC).
So yeah, ain't abnormal from Wish
After what he's gone through in this video, Dawid has definitely earned himself one of Linus' custom Creator Screwdrivers
The scammers have moved to Temu and Amazon.
The alt ending is S tier gold just fyi...keep up the amazing and massively entertaining content as always!
It just needed rich rebuilds recorder playing over it and it'd be tier 1 cringe.
My woman is basically tech illiterate, and she watches your vids with me, understands them, and most importantly, she laughs at your jokes bro. Absolutely love the content, keep doing what you’re doing
well i guess i weep 😥😥😥
Can I have the pc?
Bonus intro was WAY better! The next level creativity really showcased your style Dawid.
I have this exact motherboard still! I definitely played Fallout a lot with that build.
"It was a functional SSD."
Not much more you can wish for.
Speaking of the "light" power supply, If the PSU weighs less than the board, CPU and memory combined, then you have a problem. But for 1000 watt power supply I would venture to say it's probably 50-60% efficient so you might get 500-600 watts on a good day. That is of course, if it doesn't catch fire when you load it up to 50% so around 500 watts worth of components.
With respect to the motherboard CPU socket pins, I found that they can actually be more durable than people think. I mean you have to push something onto them to bend them, so something likely would have had to go through the box, which even pressing on it, or crushing it, probably wouldn't necessarily bend the pins. It would have to almost be a direct impact or force right over the socket as the metal plate does help protect them, and the piece of paper as well, despite them coming with plastic covers instead from the factory. (Yes I did bend a bunch of pins on an already-bad (dead) motherboard once to see how durable they were).
Your self-deprecating humor gets me every time! 😅
when he said in the sponsor, "enough RGB to make any 14 year old weep" I could not help but laugh at that
10:10 LMFAO "Melted Bits of Spam Can"
11:49 I like how Dawid smacking the top of the case coincidently caused video to bug out, lol
Also i have the same cooler and its hard to remove. Figured out in the end that you can use screwdriver to push it out of the clip as you push it down with your other hand
Should have used the ending intro! That was great. I love all your videos and can't wait until the next one!
I just love your channel. as someone who loves pc building and just messing around with components, I get to live vicariously through you, and not spend all my money.
So, what I can take from this video is that you can actually build a decent(?) System from wish as long as you buy a PSU from a more reputable source and also the CPU so you don't get ripped off.
I love watching these videos because I play Team Fortress 2 at 25-30 frames at best and he’s like “yea it doesn’t get that many frames only about 60-90”
lol I have intelhd2000 and I get 60 fps on 1080p low XD
Those types of CPU coolers are brutal. I put one of 'em in with the clip obstructed once and it took me 25 minutes to get the cooler off.
Dawid, you definitely should have stuck with the intro you showed at the end of the video! that was pure gold!!
If any of these computers ever DO explode, I hope Dawid has a friend edit and upload it. Perfect troll video xD
Dawid, i love your videos, your sense of humor is keeping me alive recently because my life is a mess lately and your sarcastic personality and great jokes are greatly appreciated! Cheers from some girl from Poland!

I mean I have a 100R I bought back in 2016, it's a very quiet case but it has no airflow and you need to clean the intake once a week. But for a machine that lives in a common living space it is nice and quiet.
I love your videos, man. Keep up the great work.
Alternate intro was badass, loved it!
That motherboard probably survived a prior power supply fire. 🤣

Watched both vids and LOLed at the sketchy PSUs, can definitely say I liked yours better.
Intro did not weird me out and wonder why the heck I was watching 3 guys trying to hype up some (probably) non existent thing. Heck you had 2 intros! and both were fun.
PC aside your presentation had more personality and entertainment and not much b-roll with just music. Helps retain attention better. Also YOLOing the initial testing was just hilarious as you had to replace that PSU.
oooh man, seeing that psu paired with a real gpu makes me anxious
Yo I'm legit dying at the commentary when unpacking the parts
