Great video! I don't have a Soul Food but I've been considering getting it. Also, I do wish you played your clean tone/ tone without the soul food first just to give a bit more context.

If you haven’t tried it yet, try putting the soul food in front of a tube screamer. That is hot I’ll typically use it as it really thickens up the tone for lead parts.
I will try that. Normally I'm not into the TS9. Sounds so mushy.
@@andrewsiemoni didn’t like the tube screamer either and had one but never put it on my board until recently when I was just messing around with stacking different overdrives and the tone I got was pretty pleasant. So I think I’m a newly converted tube screamer believer
You're not the first person to say that on my videos. Seems like a lot of people think it's not so great on its own but then much better stacked with other drives/distortions.@@joemarek9690
I do the other way around ts9 first in front of the soul food. Soul food has more room. Maybe I’ll swap later and try it out .
I stack my Soul Food and NOTAKLÖN daily. Soul Food 1st, NOTAKLÖN 2nd. Also like to stack the Soul Food w/ MXR Classic Distortion.MXR 1st and Soul Food 2nd Sounds fantastic. The Soul food is really damn loud !
