Her level one Wind Waker is the Wind Waker from Wind Waker's Wind Waker...
Blue Toad the God I died xd
Try saying that five times fast.
I don’t get it
I was literally about to say that lol its so hilarious lmao
Very informative, thank you
It's a shame they didn't change Young Link's weapon like it does in Majora's Mask.
Level 1 - Kokiri's Sword
Level 2 - Razor Sword
Level 3/4 - Gilded Sword
Level 4+ Great Fairy's Sword
That would have been awesome.
Holy shit
Oddly, the Razor Sword is used by Horse Link.
@Colin Tentis I thought he uses the weapons from the Hylian Sword Weapon.
@@THEGRUMPTRUCK the Razor Sword is used by Impa's level 3 Naginata, look at it closely.
Preach!
The crossbows for linkle do come from link’s crossbow training, a game not too many people know
A successful spinoff taking inspiration from another, less successful spinoff. Strange, isn't it?
He said that 12:27
True that man
The more you know.....I need a rainbow to add
I had that for Christmas.
"That's not a chainchomp." Meanwhile Miyamoto OUT RIGHT SAYS that's a chainchomp from the Hyrule Warriors direct.
But it is a bow wow from links awakening
@@pokemonlore4959 bow wows are nicknames for chain chomps

Greatest sum up. Ever.
The amount of detail and homages in this game is amazing. Koei Tecmo/team ninja really put a lot of thought and love into this game.
Absolutely. You can tell most of the people who made it grew up with The Legend of Zelda.
23:59 Ganondorf is a Keyblade Wielder confirmed
He has Amber eyes he's been norted
Sora move over we got a new... hero?
@@kaitlynslade4661 ganon can't keyblade transform
@@sakura368 How do you know that Ganon isn't Ganondorf's keyblade transformation?
Xenohart thought that his biggest opponent would be a champion of light, when it was really a master of darkness. Kinda fitting.
I thought Zelda's lvl 1 rapier was based off the sword Zelda is seen letting go of in twilight princess when she's surrendering Hyrule to Zant. It just has a hand guard attached
Good point.
Jethilius Avalar exactly what I thought
But that sword not a rapier
@whatgives “Based off”
WowPower didn’t notice it oops
Personally when I looked at Linkle's level 3 crossbows, I thought the colors were meant to represent the recurring Fire and Ice arrow items. Seems to be more fitting for crossbows, since, y'know, they shoot projectiles.
I always interpreted the crossbows as a reference to the red and blue of the switch controllers, to continue the reference of her level 2 crossbows being wii motes from Link’s Crossbow Training
0:46 Level 1 Weapons
7:49 Level 2 Weapons
14:42 Level 3 + 4 Weapons
21:53 8-bit Weapons

"Linkle's level 2 crossbow comes from Link's crossbow training for the Wii."
Me: Oh, okay.
Wait what?
Yes it actually exists
Very fun game
If i maybe honest, i'm always happy to see Marin...
She's just so cute and adorable!
You'd have to be a being made of pure breath of the wild malice to hate her.
The Mirror of Shadows isn't purely original; the design on it perfectly matches the pattern in the middle of a shadow beast's head from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, hence the name "Mirror of Shadows". While I'm on the topic of Twili Midna, did you know the glowing orb in her second combo and the orbs shot out of the cannon in her third combo are sols?
TheEnderNinja i was so confused when he said 'sol" bc I thought "soul" and I was like wtf does that have to do with anything
Yes I knew
My favorite fashion color is Dark Link with the master sword ending when you finish the levels because it shows a pitch black Link hopping on a red eyed pitch black epona it's so wicked and creepy
Linkle's Level 3 Crossbows could also be a reference to Twinrova
11:01 woah zant listen buddy two scimitars were enough you don’t need 6 of them XD This is why I love this weapon
I know this was made years ago, but I think the 4+ weapons could have had a section about how some of the elements are references. For example, the Trident being Fire is a clear reference to the fact that in some games like ALTTP, Ganon uses Fireballs and Fire Keese in addition to the trident, or Phantom Zelda's also being Fire being a reference to the Flame Phantoms. Some are original but there are still clear franchises references for some of the pairings.
Sheik's level 2 weapon in French is called "Storms Harp" (By the way I translated myself basing on original english name, but in French it's a Lyre instead of a harp.) The real original French name is "Lyre des tempêtes" so it's obiously a reference to Song of Storms.
Very cool! That's also a weird thing to reference considering Sheik never plays the Song of Storms
@@garlicsalt317 Let alone, Sheik only plays his theme and Temple songs. And maybe Song of Time
@@The15Youshe plays her theme all the time
The shield used with Link's Magic Sword is suppose to be the Magical Shield used in Zelda 1 and 2. But with a redesigned cross in the middle.
Impa's Naginata weapons might exist for their Dynasty Warriors reference.
the8thark also the gurodo guards in OOT use them too
Becca Wiegers But Impa isn't Gerudo lol
@@fujisakicdanganronpa5395 And Zelda never uses the Wind Waker or Dominion Rod in the games those items appear. They can take a few liberties with their item usage here lol
I was enjoying this video enough until the fashion show closure... That made me ADORE it. Amazing job.
“Her level one wind waker is the wind waker from wind waker” Made me laugh
This game had an odd obsesion with making Water/Light Level 4+ weapons.
also fire/dark to balance those water/light weapons
although I think fire/light would work better if the dual element weapons used the effects of both elements. Which sadly they don't in this game. That would make some weapons even more busted
@@redshepherd32lotsa hellfire and holy water
So the great fairy has an outfit resembling the creature Link rides
Okay
The Great Fairy clearly wants Link to ride her ;)

This is the one game I wouldn’t mind being Link and having to fight Gannondorf myself lol.
This just makes me more excited to get all the weapons and costumes :”)
I was going to say that it'd take like a couple years for that but seeing that this comment is 3 years old....Did you do it?
20:50 her pistol could also be a reference to both the king of red lions and the dragon from dragonroost island. (I think his name is baloo)
VALOO!!!!!
Hylian AF thank you. I wasnt quite sure which one it was. I only played windwaker once and i stopped halfway through.
Are you serious???????????
Bees.
Bees are the best weapon.
NOT THE BEES!!!!!!!!
BEEEEEEEEEES - projared
yeah no
Only if you're allergic
Stormy-Eyed Epona sort of resembles Red Hare as it appeared in Dynasty Warriors 7, with the orange mane and tail. I know that otherwise, though, it doesn't really fit much. It would have been pretty cool to see Link ride Red Hare, though.
Who knew Ganondorf was a keyblade wielder.
The back of the Mirror of Shadows is from the masks of the Shadow Beasts.
Fun fact: In Volga's cutscenes at the beginning of the game, he's shown with his level 1 weapon.
Actually, Linkle's crossbow might come from the original idea for TP when the Crossbow was going to be introduced in combat. Stallord was going to be the final boss and the Crossbow would be used against it.
7:25 That might be a reference to the Mario pictures in OOT. Don't remember if there was a small placard on the bottom of the pictures, been too long.
IMO Ganondorf's 4+ swords also go pretty well with the costume that's just his design from Twilight Princess, since the swords' colours and light element match the Sage's sword he wielded in that game.
I totally forgot the chain chomp look alikes were called bow-wows
Im going to be honest, this (and your costume references video) are my favorite videos on the entire website. I really enjoyed watching this the first time, and I like listening to this in the background while playing games. Good Job!
Although Agitha's level 3 weapon has no reference or basis from the Zelda series, the bright pink color and the obvious crown at the top of her parasol is most likely a reference to Princess Peach in Mario instead, since Peach is depicted with a pink parasol in those games
Makes sense
Great video!
So many of the fashion weapons look great with the Wind Waker pack costumes XD
Her Wind Waker is the Wind Waker from Wind Waker's Wind Waker
The Majora's Ocarina is a direct reference to Majora's Mask in Majora's Mask
Oracle of Seasons is my favorite game from The Legend of Zelda series, so I wish Hyrule Warriors had more references to it.
level 3 link's sword is also pmayed off of the razor sword in majora's mask
Awesome Video Bro!
Actually, the Thief's Trident is more an original design. The trident from A Link to the Past is actually the same design from A Link Between Worlds, but a different color due to Yuga combining the trident with his staff. You can identify this by taking note of the skull shape on his sprite in ALttP, which is carried over to other trident-wielding iterations of Ganon (Oracle games, Four Swords Adventures, ALBW, and even Ganon in Hyrule Warriors), hence why the Level 2 version is called the King of Evil Trident, with "King of Evil" being a title frequently given to Ganondorf, especially his beast form. would say that the reason for making the King of Evil Trident appear as it does is because it's the most recent usage of Ganon with a trident.
Linkle boots are coming from the forgotten and really good game "Zelda, The Minish Cap", and they are called Pegasus Boots! (you're video is really great whatsoever, good work!)
Grégoire Batais The Minish Cap isn’t forgotten
The pegasus boots are from four swords, the design was simplified in minish cap, and the four swords ones were adapted from the link's awakening ones
And alttp
Nice video man, the research on this must have been a NIGHTMARE. Thanks for sharing!
The burning gloves pair well with the goron tunic because they're well burning so of course they'd be usually painful for anyone but a goron to use unless they were wearing a goron tunic which is resistant to heat.
Also Darunias dark fire hammer reminds me of the Magic eye glass.
Zelda level 1 wind waker is from wind wakers wind waker
Me: say that ten times fast
Link's Lv. 1 Sword has a shield that references the symbols around the Gate of Time in Skyward Sword.
Also shares the shape of the metal shield from that game
Tetra's level 3 sword and pistol is likely a reference to the rito postman from the Windwaker
Darunia’s level 3 weapon also shares the name with the item from ocarina of time. He intended to use it to fight Volvagia but couldn’t find it in the Fire Temple.
Zelda's loftwing in Skyward Sword is purple, not blue. Therefore, I think Linkle's Legends Crossbows are a connection to the two other goddesses Din and Nayru. Because Linkle believes she is the spirit of the hero reborn and with her green tunic, I believe that connection to Courage, or Farore, is assumed. The Legends Crossbows would then connect all three spirits, or all three pieces of the Triforce.
I love your vids man. I can listen to this as I play this amazing game😀
Different name, same thing. It's a chain chomp.
Take a shot everytime he says "original design" lol

I'm glad you're enjoying them!
Lana and her summon gate attacks: *Cha Cha real smooth*
the white and pink outfit with the red gauntlets grew on me very quickly. I guess I just like the white with the pink scarf on link
(20:03) I always assumed that it was a reference to the Fire and Ice arrows you get from the Fairy Queen in Wind Waker. I completely forgot about the Loftwings.
Wait, Skull Kid never got the Ocarina of Time?
Frans Lebin only in the game Majora's mask
I don’t understand why either because he is the majoras mask iteration of him and I don’t remember him ever getting sarias ocarina in oot. I don’t know why he didn’t get the ocarina of time for the level 4 weapon or something.
@@_whatgives_5939 Because level 4 weapons are the same weapons as level 3 weapons, but stronger.
And it's likely he has a Fairy Ocarina, as he implies Saria teached him Saria's Song in Majora's Mask's ending.
great vid
I really like how Agitha has VERY perfection matches with all of her parasols except for the tier 1 I guess
Tier 1 fits her original costume lol
15:53 Bow-Wow was the name of the chain chomp on Koholint island, in the credits of A Link to the Past, they’re still chain chomps
I have a video idea, top 9 adventure mode maps (10 if you count rewards but I’m Not). Base it off of gimmicks, items, or coustumes if you want.
I remember seeing the intro and wondering who one of the characters were and now i know it's chie satonaka
Sonic's level 1 sacred sword: Caliburn
Level 2: Excalibur
Level 3/level 4: Chaos Keyblade
8-bit: Diamond Sword
Level 4+: Holy Keyblade

Nice save, dude.
Great Vid! Thumb is uped
ok...lana getting her dancing from din in oracles was a really good cherry on top
I would’ve assumed that the red and blue colors on linkles level three crossbows would be a reference to the whole ice arrow fire arrow thing
How many times did you say the word "however"?
20:05 I thought the red and blue crossbows - along with Linkle’s green tunic - were a reference to the three goddesses
HashtagBrown I thought they referred to her compass arrows
Ganondorf Is a keyblade whielder
16:02 you can also see one as an item in the legend of zelda minish cap in vaati’s temple or solething like that
5:55 these are the pegasus boots from oracle games and link's awakening, at least, that's what they are based on
Take a shot everytime he says "exact"
I always thought the part gloves were a reference to Oracle of ages where that item was used
Very glad to see the Wind Waker is from Wind Waker's Wind Waker, very concise lmao
Seriously though this was a really good primer on all the weapons, thank you for the vid!
Say what you want, that’s a Chain Chomp.
Song in the beginning was the same one H3H3 used in Vape Nation. :)
can you also make a video on where these are located? great video as always :)
Yes. I need this too.
And I love how this video sounds 100% exactly like the original
What original? This is just all 4 parts in one video.
GamesBrained oh... well it sounds like all the other videos in one, but it’s great
7:16 Please god tell me that Ravio is not dabbing there, because that's what it looks like
Shadow scimitars are a reference to the shadow beasts their color name and weapon is incorporated in the design
I wish the 8 bit skins were just used for the level 4 weapon instead of being a toggle for the 4+ weapons
Same
The White Sword of Link is called "Edel-Schwert" in German which means translated Noble-Sword, this would then resemble the Noble Sword from Oracle of Seasons & Ages on the Gameboy Color, however in the Japanese the word they use for the Noble Sword is "White Sword" so these swords are probaboy the same thing
The golden gauntlets are from specific enemies in Tri Force Heroes'
Sky Temple.
20:05 the red and blue, could also be representing power and wisdom
I always thought that Link's Level 3 Magical Sword looked spiky and jagged to match how the in-game sprite appeared.
Bow wows (I don't really know how to write it.. I guess this is the right way) are still a reference to the chain chomps.
golden ball in the golden gauntlets looks like it comes from the golden knights that use them in the GBA games
These vedio's make me go for 100% in the game and thats what im going to do right now.
You should have mentioned that all of linkles boots reference the pegasusboots and the hoverboots!
Really great job, please do the weapons on Fire Emblem Warriors :)
