@@espurrseyes42 Fair point. C3 is good for taking out a group that has a few captains in their ranks, and has the flair factor compared to the spin attack. It mainly boils down to your preference.
I like to do C2; execute faster, with a triple vertical wave in front of him and if there's elite mooks, continue combo with more waves coming out. A bit risky since it requires to get close though.

SportsGaming2011 I skipped the level three and the two as well. Worst experience in this game, though I guess I did that to myself. I spent so long failing the level.
Sqeeky Bassoon I made sure to get level three, since he was my highest level warrior it was actually easy to do, I even skipped the lv 4 weapon to get the lv 4+, now I’m working on getting the gold Skulltulas in story mode

@@bluegallade honestly yeah. I don't understand the anti fairy propaganda. You can balance out her normal string by just starting at a distance and then and of the final few combos you active do massive area damage, the lighting one eating generals health and your completely invincible the whole time.
A weapon can be good if the one who uses it is skilled EDIT: I mean if you know how to use her she can be powerful as hell, she is my main choice for beating so many enemies at onces
@UCevqgDRaxrSqu8BaNy5RPdQ *spams great fairy's C3 - water fountain, where she is underground with no hurt box and cancel the end of the animation with specials/magic/fairy bombs* "skilled"
You Link is definitely very Good, but his power is very situational. In some maps, He is very good, but sometimes he is only Ok. But even Ok is still better then other play styles
If I had to state young Link’s biggest problem, it’s that he’s reliant on large crowds to build up the special meter. He’s okay in one-on-one battles, but like most small characters, he has pretty bad range. His moveset is still fun without the fierce deity, it’s just not completely broken.
Also, don't know if anyone else pointed this out but I like how you color-coded each characters element to their weapon; orange for lightning, yellow for light, purple for dark, blue for water and red for fire. Nice touch. Great vid, as always.
There is *one* defense for the Great Fairy: It's impossible to hit her, even though she's the size of a whole keep! While her combo finishers are going on (and on and on, prepare to be stuck in one place for a while) she is completely invincible. Combine that with her ability to trade defense for attack (defense doesn't matter if you can't be hit), and you probably won't be *too* frustrated when the Adventure Mode forces you to use her. Also, her basic combo is pretty useful, letting her bounce around the field faster than her abysmal walking speed and keep enemies bouncing, too. As for the Summoning Gate, you do get lengthy invincibility frames and lay waste to whatever's in front of you with any of the four summons. But of course, you'll spend most of the battle cursing the RNG and demanding more Argorok. I think they nerfed Argorok at some point, too, since his empowered C5 doesn't last nearly as long as I remember from the Wii U version. The real point of the Naginata's C1 isn't to block entrances to keeps -- it's to break boss weak points. Knock them down, take a step back, and repeatedly roast them in walls of fire. Run the Sand Rod's C6 into a downed boss once, mash that Strong Attack Button to fire all the cannonballs, and watch its Weak Point Gauge crumble.
For the Summoning Gate, C3 with Manhandla is really good against Enemy leaders, especially when you use Special Attacks to stop them from moving, or Focus Spirit to break their guard. C4 with Gohma is useful for capturing keeps and when enemies are backed into a wall.
I feel like yes, the great fairy does earn points for being difficult for enemies to hit, when there’s someone that’ll hit the great fairy no matter what, you’re essentially a sitting duck
In regards to the Great Fairy, this is pretty much the reason I'd put her at the bottom1-3 of D. She has a commanding presence in the battlefield, can avoid damage, but often can't close out Commanders without C4/C6 spam. These problems diminish against Giant Bosses, since a Crowd Control Queen loves a big chonky target. IMO, I'd swap her with Agitha. I'll freely admit I'm playing her wrong, but I run into the alleged problems of Great Fairy with Agitha, but none of the benefits of invincibility GF has. I struggle to close out captain encounters, especially in maps where she is purely alone.
Literally everything except his puppet is amazing. Like they really captured his absolute chaotic destruction. Except when you get a weak point smash and his puppet falls through a wall so he just sits there awkwardly before exploding
With Agitha, I'll say the same thing I've always said about her: -push enemy generals against a wall -press Y -press X -press Y -press X continue until the general is dead
Everytime I combo with agitha I spam the x button and I'll do her butterfly thing and it took me a while to learn to not do that but once I did I found her useful in some missions
She is one of the only characters with a TRUE INFINITE, YX roll, YX roll, Repeat, C2 lasts so long that even after breaking out of it, they get clipped last second and they are stuck in the combo again
I think most of the hatred for Agatha comes from a good number of the adventure mode Maps cuz some of the scenarios that force you to use Agatha or require you to use Agatha in order to get certain items are insanely difficult for her especially any of the ones that require you to quickly defeat enemies in a timely manner in order to get the a rank or being pinned up against having to fight a giant boss in a tiny room while there's other guys constantly bombarding you with range attacks
Agreed, sort of. The scenarios she’s thrown into are an issue, but one easily managed once you know how to use her. However, at least for the first map, her scenarios are placed on what would be later squares for playing the original LOZ in order, such as near the graveyard or on the river bordering the mountains. Which is relevant because Adventure Mode scales the challenge based on map location, those areas have harder fights. My point: I’m willing to bet many players didn’t use her until she was required for items, at which point they not only didn’t know how to play her, but were throwing her greatly underleveled into the lion’s den. Adventure Mode could’ve done with throwing her some more heart pieces and container in earlier areas.
I'm honestly really glad that the Master Sword is so ridiculously powerful. The series gives it so much love and attention that it would be a shame if it didn't deserve it.
Yeah something I've always found just slightly annoying is whenever there's something technically stronger than it in some of the games, like Biggoron's sword in OoT. But that's why I love how in LttP and LBW the stronger weapons are literally upgrades to the Master Sword, so it still makes sense narratively.
Exactly, it's supposed to be the weapon of all weapons, there is only one Master Sword and I love the respect that Nintendo always gives it. It makes it a truly cool and signature weapon, I especially love how the design really hasn't changed much in it's history, it's a constant of the series and we love it for that.
To me the master sword is just the strongest in power and nothing else. You can't custimize it and with weapons slightley weeker but with custimization options I almost never hse the master sord.
"Volga is called the Lu-Bu of this game." No, no. I think you misheard them. He IS Lu-Bu. Lu-Bu put on a full helm, and is going by "Volga". That's it.

Me: Eh, never really been that interested in Hyrule Warriors, but sure, I'll watch this. *Sees Sheik in S-Tier* Me: Huh, didn't realize I was watching a Melee tier list...
Frankly, I’d say she’s more busted in this game than Melee. Like, imagine if only Sheik was able to wavedash. That’s the kind of broken we’re talking about: exclusive ownership of certain mechanics.
SMALL bonus point with Ruto that wasn't addressed: although her standard string is really slow, the final attack from it does HIDEOUS damage to weakpoints of large bosses, as every projectile counts as a separate hit and they'll all hit for decent damage. I feel like that's worth moving her one or two slots up within D-tier
I’m a ghirahim man myself. He tends to leave himself open by posing and elemental attack is just darkness until you finally get his rare sword, but he’s fast, strong, can take a hit, and has some pretty potent combos.
Unless they changed it, you can dodge-cancel out of most of his animations. I always found him a lot of fun to use, especially if you play around with his C1.
He is one of the only guys (along with trident Ganon, Great Fairy, Daphnes and *maybe* Young Link) that I thought was underrated in this list, though that is subjective since this is all opinion based. He _might_ be the best duelist, which is the most important part of this game, and doesn't have any other particular weakness elsewhere. I myself believe him to be Mid A Tier, Above Linkle, Somewhere in the range of Twilight Midna and Volga.
@@hadesKIU I disagree with volga being a tier a d ganon blades is high I'd put ghirahim a tier a d sheik I think should be a tier and skull kid is in the wrong spot I see him almost around as good as young link and toon link is in the wrong spot he does decent damage at early levels the ones id put s tier S-Tier link master sword young link skull kid ghirahim A-Tier sheik ganon blades link hylian sword Toon link linkle crossbows Toon zelda Those are the s and a tiers to me I have to level up more characters and see which ones have more long range and close range and see which weapons has advantage over the other
Ghirahim is great for underleveled missions because you can use his H1 to target an enemy and then just blast them from a distance. It's like the most broken part of the master sword, the H3 forward sword beam, but on one button and even stronger.
I know this was four years ago, but as a fellow Girahim stan I really loved him in Warriors. They did a pretty good job showing him as both fabulous and fearsome.
I'm just gonna take a sec to thank youtube recommendations for basically telling me that this game is on the Switch and that your channel exists. The algorithm does work sometimes, guys!
@@masapeeta4140 Maybe, but without magic meter it's still insane because his combo game. Fierce Deity is broken because his range and the energy shot that he launches every attack
Hey, Young Link is just like any other kid. Show him some magic and he'll be your best friend. EDIT: Not to mention that any Adventure challenge that requires the use of a certain character becomes a walk in the grass when you can bring a second, unrestricted character. Just have the required character sit on the nest (The base, the CO), only having them break defense to go open chests that only they can open, and just have the Kid carry the match.
You need to invest a lot of mats and time on young link for him to get broken af. He’s really powerfull at the start, but not as broken as shiek and MS Link. Tho i agree with you that with an end game build on him, he’s probably the best character in the game.
@@StarForce99 You could argue that the strongest weapon is actually the Triforce since it can be used as one. However, using a wish to kill something is a bit overkill unless it happens to be Demise himself.
The Master Sword isn't even the strongest weapon in OoT. That would be the Biggoron Sword, which HW is remiss for omitting. And in Wind Waker, it was light arrows, which are also omitted (at least in Link's movesets). Majora's Mask? Great Fairy Sword, but there's no Master Sword to directly compare. Breath of the Wild? Boosted Savage Lynel Swords, most two-handers, any guardian or ancient weapon with proficiency, etc.
For me, Linkle with her Crossbows is my number 1 for how fun she is to play, how strong her Crossbows are in combat, and how cute she is. C4 is one of my favorite tools for fighting bosses because jumping off their collapsed heads and then unloading into them feels very satisfying and is quite effective.
Finding out you can cancel Lana jumping into the air with her Deku Spear was a HUGE game changer for me, it felt like you could actually get more results without the slowdown of swooping in the air.
I mean, yeah it’s a bit of a gimmick to place it there, BUT ITS THE MASTER SWORD. Bane of all evil, obviously Nintendo was gonna make it op, not to mention its a fan favorite for most people.
Great tier list amongst ever excellent content! I have a tonne of respect for the design put into unique playstyles. KOI took risks and provided huge variety and challenge. Some worked some didn't but for every Wizzro or Fairy, we got a Dominion Rod or Parasol. They each have a clear identity and the challenge is in playing them effectively. Some come easily, others not so, a small few just never really pay off. But I much prefer them to "safe" designs that never really fit a niche. With a roster this big I'm impressed there ain't that many of these.
@@Ryusuta You're welcome, though I must admit, I mostly posted the time stamps for my own benefit. I had just started playing the game, and I wanted a quick reference for which characters were good and why. I've since sunk over 100 hours into adventure mode, and I've formed my own opinions. S and A rank on the list are mostly solid, those character are easily a cut above the rest, but one character is strangely absent from S rank. I'm talking about Skull Kid. Kicking the absolute quickest base clearer and horde killer in the game down to the bottom of B-rank just because his C1 is mediocre is absolutely ridiculous. His regular attacks are fast, and you just have to do one extra input to skip to the godly eye beam. You even get a sound cue to keep track of which finisher you're on, so you'll never accidentally do the scarecrow. I take issue with a lot of the placements below A rank, but Skull Kid's takes the cake.
@@jasonames7452 I might be a bit harsh on his assessments, but I do think he's very, very off-base on some of them. For me, the most glaringly wrong assessments are: Wizzro (who has an infinite against any non-aura units and is arguably even better at fighting giant bosses than Link and Young Link) Great Fairy (immune to stun and invulnerable during combo finishers; lacking in reliable damage against named units, but generally very safe with even somewhat decent spacing) Summon Gate Lana (who isn't intuitive to learn, but has one of the most rewarding attacks in the game in the form of empowered Argorok; just extremely good at fighting named units and crowd control in general). I would much more easily put things like Lana's "spear" (stick) at the bottom of the list. To me, that is the undisputed worst item. Ruto, Fi, and Agitha all have some of the most extremely glaring flaws, too, though slightly less so.
@@Ryusuta Coming in late here, but I've been one of the vets in the HW community for years on GFaqs, Reddit, and Discord. I appreciate the time and effort Warriors Dojo put into the video, but I agree with this comment that his tier list is completely off base and I question if he fundamentally understands the strengths and weaknesses of some characters. The general consenus in the online community is Young Link is #1, Ganondorf (Great Swords) and Link (Master Sword) are #2 and #3 depending on who you ask, Skull Kid is #4, and Volga is #5. Sheik is the ultimate beginner character and is probably still top 10, but you realize quickly the water shield is irrelevant once you master the characters. Even more so in DE where the damage requirements are much more forgiving
@@kaushiksrinivasan681 I don't think Skull Kid is that great. Aside from his C3, you can't dodge cancel out of his combos, which is why I don't want to touch the harder Challenge Mode battles with him.
Few fun things I thought were missing I love doubling the pillars from Lana's C4 on themselves by cancelling the animation on the first one before the 3 big blocks are sent out, making 6 giant explosions that decimate boss gauges and everything else. I'm surprised you didn't mention that Ganon's gauge continues to charge even when his combos' animations are canceled. Throw out and cancel two C4s and you've charged your spooky meter with zero risk. My favorite C1 by far is link picking up a jar and slamming it down on someone for a hilarious amount of damage on bosses and weakpoints. Probably doesn't raise it any tiers but it's the funniest thing to me.
I love how complex Sheik is early game, compared to everyone else. Absurdly fast, and the water shield makes you flinch-proof before your have enough materials for any of those badges, which allows you to activate the other songs even if you're surrounded. It's simultaneously mindless to play her, but also complicated to figure out for a totally newbie.
You know the Master Sword is busted when it allows for the complete playstyle change of one of the game's major characters. The game's premier close-to-mid-range utility character can choose to become an absolutely safe, long-range zoner character with zero drawbacks other than needing full health... which encourages more absolutely safe, long-range zoning. Normally Link wouldn't be able to get away with something like that, but the ridiculous attack stat makes its own rules, apparently.
Ganon is the definition of a glass canon though, and I thought that he was too slow to get stuff done (besides grinding boss materials, and unlocking the Giant Cucoo)
@Pokémon & FF fan swords ganon is like if someone brought a battleship to a sword fight. when i unlocked him, level 1 gannon with his base weapons was killing things faster and more efficiently than any of the characters i bothered to level up to this point.
"And when young Link is the fierce deity, everything dies!" Me an avid young Link main in any and every game featuring him as a playable character: *maniacal laughter in background* "yes good, good..."
so happy my midnas got their recognition. i play both twili and imp midna as my mains. i just love how many ways they have to clear out troops and completely wail on a single enemy
As someone who's used the move a lot with Lana, her Deku Leaf combo move with her Spear, you can actually dash cancel out of before she leaps into the air. Saves you having to float around or swoop down. It's what I tended to use a lot just to pull off another leaf gust quicker. Doesn't really make it that much better, but it's a handy tip to keep in mind on the levels you're required to use it.
This game is probably one of the most balanced games I've ever played-- I don't think I will EVER see two people agree on a character. I saw people defending the Summoning Gate, and I HATE that weapon! but my favorite character is wizzro (I'll always say he's the most slept-on character in the game) Basically, every single weapon and character seems to be SOMEONE'S favorite, because I always notice there's at least one low-tier that people will go up to bat for. There isn't a SINGLE character that at least _one_ person won't go "Actually, there's some hidden depth to them..." for. ...except maybe tingle
I'm still bitter that the Wii U version got shafted on DLC. I played the game to death but no way was I going to buy the game again and do everything all over again just to experience the 3DS/DE exclusive content.
Right? I was so salty that I wasn't able to shift characters around to not make them dead fish. It always personally annoyed me that your armies always usually sucked (which they should be lesser, but I mean cmon) while the enemy units always dominated. Like at least let me lead them to other places. "Yo! You giant conglomerate of soldiers not doing anything! Go annihilate this one keep from the other side of the map! You literally have them 15 to 1 you can do this!!"
I've never played the Wii U or 3DS versions, so if I do ever get the game I'll get the Switch version. EDIT: I have the definitive edition now and it's fun as well as a massive time sink.
@@DkKombo i understand. carrying the game is the entire point, but they can at least act like they have SOME level of awareness. those messengers would rather fight a bokoblin ten meters away than run towards the base
I was going to suggest some changes to this list, then I remembered you said this is judging by their base forms. When Hasty Attacks is added to the equation, I see a few potential changes. In particular, Spear Lana, Book Lana, Cia, Tetra, Agitha, Darunia and Baton Zelda are helped greatly by the increased attack speed. On the other hand, Trident Ganondorf might be a little _too_ fast, leading to some botched juggling, and Wizzro's C4 actually gets ruined by it.
Volga is downright comical with Hasty Attacks. He looks like you’re playing the game at 2x or 3x speed. And TBH, I don’t find any problems with Shiek and Hasty Attacks.
Ever since I played Young Link on the Wii U, i knew he was broken lol. He can level up so frickin fast AND his C4 (i think it is (where he does the triforce thingy)) is amazing at filling his meter, which can be transfered to Magic and give him Fierce Deity. The whole concept and mechanuc made me realize early on that he was broken. Gg good vid man
I think you forgot to mention Rapier Zelda's c5 without light charge deals more wpg damage on bosses than a full master sword link c3 string Rapier Zelda is still one of my favorites
@OmegaSutol Lana is my favorite warrior to play as just in general, but I find Zelda's rapier to be the most enjoyable to play as. So I take it you're familiar with her charged combo 3 where she rains light arrows in front of her? One of my favorite attacks in the game.
I was happy to see how high up Volga was! He's my absolute favorite character to play as and honestly deserves a lot of love for being a really cool character. His moveset is really great, I love being able to basically juggle enemies and they can't do anything about it lol.
The Master Sword is pretty obvious but its true power is locked for a good while. Shiek's power is a bit less obvious and it takes someone experimenting with her a lot to realize just how strong she really is.
While I do agree that the great faerie is one of Link's weakest weapons, I'd place it in the middle of D tier. Sorry, Tingle, you've got an entire tier to yourself now.
Lana's summoning Gate combined with Speedy Attacks and Strength VI and constant dodge cancelling makes Lana literally broken, defeating Bosses in 1-2 C6's.
This is from my personal experience, but I think Zelda's rapier should be much higher simply because of her standard C-5 attack. It decimates anything in front of her, she's completely mobile while doing it, it travels far, and it hits hard and fast. The only thing about it is that since it's C-5, it takes a while to set up. And while the range isn't terrible, it's not as big as other moving area clears, like her C-4. That's just my opinion tho. Also, I'm surprised Great Fairy literally the bottom. I figured her ginormous hitbox on her standard string would help her be of use for area clearing. It's pretty terrible for 1-on-1s though, so I can see why it would be low. Nice video! I'm glad I found it.
100% agree about Zelda's C5. Almost certainly the best move in the game excluding things that require specific conditions (full health Master Sword, Fierce Deity, etc.). Sure there are other good moves in the game, but none of them do everything. Volga's C3 is spammable and breaks boss weak points, but doesn't break smaller weak points and has trouble hitting once it's pushed enemies away. Twili Midna's C5 covers a big area and follows the enemies it pushes, but it doesn't break any weak points. Lana (with tome)'s C4 clears groups and breaks boss weak points, but it lacks maneuverability and isn't very efficient against captains. Toon Zelda's strong attack is great at clearing areas and can handle many captains' weak points, but not bosses. Sheik's Bolero of Fire does incredible single-target damage and makes it easy to break boss weak points, but it's tough to land against captains. Well, a little tricky to land. Ok, point is it isn't 100% guaranteed. Zelda's C5 doesn't have those caveats. Zelda's C5 does everything. And though it isn't amazing at keep clearing, it can do it, and it's better at that than certain entire characters (looking at you, Tetra). Not that that puts Zelda in S tier, or even at the top of A tier. A character doesn't need a single move that does everything, as long as they have multiple moves that cover a variety of situations. One move for bosses, another for captains, etc. Combined, those moves can be more effective than Zelda's C5. But I still do think C5-the-character is good enough to earn a spot in A tier.
Volga has always been my fav since when I got the game; his intro cutscene in the first level was an instant win for me lol, not to mention how powerful he felt to play as :) Awesome vid man, might consider getting the definitive edition
Fi will remain my favorite character, even though her damage is so bad her Heavy attack does nothing to help it. Pretty good list. I definitely agree with the top tiers. Didn’t realize Sheik was that strong, tho.
My sister uses Fi when we play multiplayer and she's SUCH a good support character for claiming outposts and keeps while I do the stuff that requires strategy like minibosses and 1 on 1 fights (no offense to her, she said herself she'd rather not think too much lol)
I was kind of expecting Fi to be higher on the list. I feel like she makes the game easy in ways most other characters generally don't. She can kinda just glide around like a little cuisinart without having to care much about what's happening around her, and then explodes from time to time to inflict a lot of damage in a wide area.
Literally all the mains of me and my friends are all Dark element characters. I mainly use Skull Kid, Young Link, and Zant My two friends who I play this gane with use Girahim and Ravio respectively. I don't know if I should be afraid or not that we all gravitate towards darkness.
she is a character that is only fun to play once you understand her. give her a chance on some maps she isnt required, and maybe you'll change your mind. only problem is that with how easy characters like link are to play, even understanding agitha, she isnt often my first choice.
@@snagger28 i tend to utilize C4 a lot when using the book. provides some nice area clearing and damage for C1, and stacking two on top of each other is enough to tear down a boss WPG (make sure to do it on the same angle, though. all the books have to explode, otherwise the gauge is not drained enough). not my preferred weapon, but i can do some work with it
Everytime I see this game I'm like "Holy shit I've never seen those things before has there been a new dlc?!" Then I realize that no, it's just that despite spending so many hours on the game I've still not unlocked everything, haa
i say volga deserves to be S-tier because of just how spammable his C2 is to the point where enemy commanders can't really do anything to escape it that isn't the invincibility frames of a special attack/combo finisher. his C5, while indeed slow, has MASSIVE AOE that can clear any keep in a single go and it's made even better by the fact that you can control where volga impacts the ground. his guard breaking is crazy powerful and there's little anybody can do against him.
Something that Ghirahim is also really good at, is bringing enemies close to him one time specifically, I was in the scenario where you have to catch the three fleeing Lanas, Ghirahim's C1 followed by C2 sent one of the Lanas literally flying back towards me
*sees Lana's Gate in D tier* I thought the Gate was gonna be higher, but oh well... I just love the fact that Giant Bosses can die to a summoned Argorok before Lana can do her Weak Point Smash.
I love the summoning gate but I can see how a lot of people don't like it. Argorok's great, but it is quite frustrating to have a particular boss in mind but it never shows up. And raise your hand if you actually like King Dodongo, I mean COME. ON. I also love Gohma and Manhandla; neither's as good as Argorok but nothing to sneeze at.
I'm gonna have to disagree with you completely with Epona Link. He is the best choice I find for one on one fights. You lock on, hold forward and spam strong attack and you get your target stuck in an infinite. It's admittingly not as good vs giant bosses and crowds but this brain dead combo is so satisfying to to use against single targets where normal tactics have failed me. There is also something to be said about taking that one boss from the enemy base to your own while on a horse. Edit: similar to Toon Zelda's rolling attack
I disagree with him on Epona as well: but for a different reason. Standing strong attack (the one that consumes carrots) is a STRONG single target move, and one that can be spammed pretty heavily in small bursts. Absolutely decimates weak points, too.
Heads up: Ruto can actually clear boss weak point gauges in one go. You just gotta start her neutral string BEFORE the WPG shows, hit it with the giant water bubbles, cancel and do another neutral string. Boom. Take a look for yourself!
Everyone is always free to think whatever they want. No need for a disclaimer. If someone gets all butthurt, just tell them you don't care what they think
Great job, Shane! I honestly wasn't expecting a tier list from you, but now that you've made one, I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner. I agree with the majority of the list. Before I found your channel, I underestimated a lot of the weapons in the game because I didn't understand them properly. I'm very happy at how much your Hyrule Warriors videos have helped me. Thank you. Now that I've buttered you up - Fire Emblem Warriors tier list when? >=o]
I'm surprised how much I disagree with this list. For example, I would put Great Fairy and Ruto higher, and put Baton Zelda in E tier. Still a great video.
Something that is BS is that If Wizzro is Being controlled/an Ally, then he’s mediocre but if he’s an enemy then he is the most annoying piece of shit in this game, it’s not fair that the enemies get a broken ass character while the players/allied forces get a mediocre one
I honestly love using Ruto. Her AoE game is top-notch, and her regular combo is a massive single-target smasher. Also, it's a bit cathartic to me, because she was little more than The Load back in OoT. Here, she's a force to be reckoned with. I don't care if she has flaws, she's my waifu for this game.
(My opinion) How in the world is the giant blade even considered an ok weapon? The giant blade has really few unsafe options for racking out KO and can't deal with bosses at all. All of this would make someone think that it's good at fighting enemies but no, the more you go into the attack and later combos, the more wild, slow and unsafe it gets. I generally don't understand how the giant blade is c tier and above the naginata (which in my opinion should be higher in the list)
I agree. The giant blade is a very lacking weapon. Combo IV is the only decent AoE option, and decent is being generous when it covers about the same area as Ghirahim's weak weak... It really doesn't have much for juggling, combos, or giant boss weak point breaking. The naginata can juggle with weak strong weak strong repeat and combo III (with only 1 maybe 2 strongs) does a comparable job of AoE. But the Strong Attack (Fire Wall) has a lot of utility against giant bosses and enemies that won't flinch like redeads.
Never expected to see one of these. Neato. Nice Vid. A few things. I use to label things. Captains: The Zelda enemies you fight that are not playable. Generals: The playable characters C1-5: Number corresponds to many times you press light attack before a strong attack. Shield Crush: Literally breaking the enemy's guard Weak Point Crush: The gauge to use the weak point smash However, I feel you made quite a few characters sound a lot less powerful than they actually are. What I will type takes into consideration the conditions where being a higher tier actually matters such as Boss slaying, and high morale generals and captains. condition battles such as no SP, no Magic, speed runs, no hit runs, etc. Young Link, Sword Impa, Sword Link, Ghirahim, Spinner, Gauntlets, Rapier, and Cutlass. While a few others you oversold, Those being Shiek, Sword Ganon, Twili Midna, Toon Zelda, Baton Zelda, Dominion Rod. Let's speak about those you undersold first. Young Link. Young Link no matter what you can say about any other weapon, is hands down the best character in the game by far. He is quite literally in a league of his own. His strings are really good on base, and are strong enough to stunlock generals and absolutely shred gauges. His C5 is also the only move in this game that can't be beaten by literally any move in the game. Including bosses. All of his moves especially his C4, are gauge and boss shredders. Now, Focus Spirit alongside the potential of having fairy abilities? He quite literally lives and breaths Focus spirit. Hell, you can actually soft lock yourself in certain story missions for destroying the enemies faster than the scripts can even activate. There is one situation in which another character is better, and that's when no magic is allowed. But that is one limitation whereas he can dominate every other situation by far. S+ tier if that was actually possible. Sword Impa She's significantly more reserved and less busted than the others, however she is still really good. Her base string is better than a lot of other characters, especially since you can change it into a heavy attack at the end which gives her slight more CC than other characters. She's relatively good. But what really carries her is that unlike a lot of other characters, she has one of the best forms of burst damage in her heavy attack which is a guaranteed weak point crush with amazing chip damage. Alongside her C5 being a singular move weak point crush on boss enemies, can slay captains, and has amazing CC potential since enemies inside the move will be shield crushed and stun locked no matter what. Solid A Tier. Sword Link Link's strength is that he is consistent. He consistently does well in all situations. A lot of characters struggle in high morale duels, special conditions such as no SP or Magic, or at boss slaying and what have you. But Sword does not. If you ever need a consistent amount of damage per cycle, Sword Link works. He is made significantly better by skills such as Compatriot. Which makes this weapon MUCH deadlier than other characters in even focus spirit. 100% an S tier Ghirahim Ghirahim is actually pretty busted. He's the sheer definition of a 50/50 character. He thrives off not committing to moves, with dropping those moves giving him lots of Iframes. His strong attack effectively renders his weakness of having generally no CC, none existent. His C2 is EXTREMELY good as it is one of the best moves in the entire game since it stuns, shield crushes, weak point crushes, chips, and you can use the second part of the move to actually avoid attacks from any other party while also damaging the target's location on top of keeping enemies off you as well. His C1 can actually perma juggle enemies to death from a distance and will send them flying at you at mach speed, which you can then dodge cancel so they go past you, and rinse and repeat. Combine that with C2 and you can effectively clear an entire keep in 2 move flat and if present, you can stun multiple captains and generals with that combo. Letting you kill anything and everything at distance. And on top of all that, every single one of his moves combos VERY well with his SP attack which absolute shreds everything. While C3 is great when not commited to the summoning, C1 and C2 are 100% the carrying factor. He's 100% a solid S tier. Gauntlets Gauntlets is just really cheesy. You can stunlock everything with his C2 and juggle them over and over in the air unto death. His C3 combo on failure is actually more effective than committing to the move and is surprisingly effective at crushing boss shields. And if you commit half way, you jump which gives you Iframes and a free AoE attack that again, does more damage compared to commiting to the very same move. B Tier Spinner Spinners is one of the better weapons since those set ups that you said take so long, actually can one shot boss shields and instakill most captains while taking advantage of most captain's and general's start up animations since you can use that time to start the combo that insta crushes their shield. Effectively, he's really good at CC and boss slaying which is a lot more than most characters. A Tier Rapier Rapier has access to two hands down amazing moves in C4 and C5. They like many moves I have describe, have the ability to destroy all forms of defense while dishing out insane amounts of damage. C5 is one of the few moves that can also one shot boss gauges. A little bonus to note is you said you can't dispel her light, but you actually can on select move endings. Pressing the strong ATK makes her release a defensive burst of light which acts as a defensive option and dispels her light. B Tier Cutlass is indeed short ranged, but Tetra is one of the best duelists and is also access to a defense negating C5 move. Which is one of the best boss weak point crushing moves and can destroy both generals and captains alike. Her strong attack actually negates all defenses, can allow her to get a free weak point smash, and opens up combos or can be used to reset your enemy. C3 and C4 are solid AoE attacks that grant distance, safety, and damage as well. She's a very solid character. A Tier Now, on to those you oversold. Shiek. Shiek is one of the better characters true, but not amazing. Shiek has by far the best dodge, and the best boss weak point crusher move in the game with C2, however, her general DPS is VERY lacking. Her string is fast, but very weak. Her C5 is absolutely useless, while enemies trapped in her C4 can fall out of it very easily, she is very good at prolong damaging bosses, but she leaves a lot to be desired. C Tier Twili Midna and Sword Ganon. These two are grouped together because they suffer the exact same problem. Where it really counts, in High morale and bosses, they lack behind where some other characters that are even worse than them, can do better. They're both great at CC but are very slow and struggle in duels. While their strong attack actually carries them for giving them Iframes and a VERY VERY powerful attack. B Tier Toon Zelda You mentioned in your video. She's just average. Other characters can animation cancel better than she can. C Tier Baton Zelda and Dominion Zelda Quite simply, the lack of movement KILLS their viability in anything where high morale is concerned. Decent at boss weak point crushing, but others are significantly better. C Tier A few honorable slight mentions. Tingle Much better than you think. He is one of the few characters that can guarantee a weak point crush on captains and generals in a single combo. A really good duelist. C-B Tier Ruto Generally bad, but has some INSANE tech where every single of her moves can be activated then canceled out of so you can actually use the moves attacks, without the commitment. You can use her C5 for example, then dodge cancel and move into a C2 combo to suck in enemies, while her C5 move is still activated. D Tier Spear Lana Her moves can be used as shields and she like Ruto, can cancel her C5 into another move while C5 is still active. D-B Tier (Rank one is really bad, but her Rank 3 actually can put in work.) Wizzro His C3 is one of the best weak point crushing moves on most bosses, and his C2 can combo VERY well as a weak point crush on most generals. C4 is just as effective as C3 as well. C-Tier
In my opinion young link is a situational S tier, so I can understand the fact that he is in A because his base form is C to B tier due to his C6. All around good video and it was awesome, by the way I was thinking that Tingle was going to the best but whatever ;-)
Thank you for saying it. Yes, Young Link is really good, but he falls flat on his face is a few situations. The first is getting all the skills unlocked so he can stay in focus mode for a reasonable amount of time (ganon is tedious to farm for gold medal unlocks). Then there is the map actually giving you enough resources to maintain focus. Run out of things to kill or have to switch characters? You're stuck with C-rank young link until you can get that magic back up. Quiz maps are awful with him if you don't have a magic fountain fairy.... and if you have a magic fountain fairy, you basically have "I win" mode unlocked anyway.
His C6 is one of the very few attacks in the game that makes Rogue Forces on Challenge Competition Battles flinch and get knocked away that isn't a Special Attack or Focus Spirit.
Even though most movesets are copy-pasted, the tier list would mainly be which characters make the best use of the most optimal skills (like Galeforce, Luna, etc) through their moveset, stats, and weapon attributes. It also depends on what way you play the game. You either play with pair-up builds in mind, or solo builds (I prefer the latter).
An end-game FE Warriors would basically only have 2 criteria. - Is the character a mounted unit? - Does he/she has a good luck stat? That's all it would come down to, Luna + Galeforce + Niles' skill I forgot the name of are just *that* broken from mid to end game.
Lol my eyes popped out of my head when one of my S tier picks was literally the first weapon dropped at the bottom of the list. The Great Fairy’s immense damage and massive amounts of invincibility frames put her on even footing with the likes of Young Link and Volga in my eyes.

You Link is definitely very Good, but his power is very situational. In some maps, He is very good, but sometimes he is only Ok. But even Ok is still better then other play styles
@Marcus Joly I know. I play Hyrule Warriors tons. But Maps just about Killing 1 enemy with very little force or magic can be difficult
@@Magic_Ice IMO, his greatest disadvantage in normal form is his poor reach. his damage in 1v1s is still pretty good
If I had to state young Link’s biggest problem, it’s that he’s reliant on large crowds to build up the special meter. He’s okay in one-on-one battles, but like most small characters, he has pretty bad range. His moveset is still fun without the fierce deity, it’s just not completely broken.
He destroys the “KO computation” adventure mode maps and the “Defeat as many enemies as you can” maps
This helped me a lot, thank you
Try using skull kid and spamming the YYX combo, and use the joystick to turn while you're doing it. It's a screen-clearer, man.
YYX to clear mobs and keeps.
YYYX to kill bosses.
He can do anything.
That is exactly my strategy with Skull Kid.
Skull Kid main here, can confirm, lasers are nuts for crowd control
Literally everything except his puppet is amazing. Like they really captured his absolute chaotic destruction.
Except when you get a weak point smash and his puppet falls through a wall so he just sits there awkwardly before exploding
Skull kid's only bad move is the puppet
Accidentally sending out a puppet is a waste of time and happens more often than you think
Newcomers to shane: i bet Agatha is e tier :p
Veterans: wait deku spear isnt e?
With Agitha, I'll say the same thing I've always said about her:
-push enemy generals against a wall
-press Y
-press X
-press Y
-press X
continue until the general is dead
Everytime I combo with agitha I spam the x button and I'll do her butterfly thing and it took me a while to learn to not do that but once I did I found her useful in some missions
i go y, y, x dodge
I came here to say exactly the same thing lol. Remember, the enemy can't damage you if they're flung in the air!
She is one of the only characters with a TRUE INFINITE, YX roll, YX roll, Repeat, C2 lasts so long that even after breaking out of it, they get clipped last second and they are stuck in the combo again
If you're good at spacing and canceling attacks with a dodge, you don't even need the corner.
Well said.
I just find her a bit boring spamming the same beetle move over and over and over…. It just gets boring
You can just bring any better character in as the second character and switch to them

It makes it a truly cool and signature weapon, I especially love how the design really hasn't changed much in it's history, it's a constant of the series and we love it for that.
and then there's BOTW which lets you break it

I watched this video so many times and I never noticed there were hidden tingles
Can be noticed with good vision. I noticed all of them.
Me: Eh, never really been that interested in Hyrule Warriors, but sure, I'll watch this.
*Sees Sheik in S-Tier*
Me: Huh, didn't realize I was watching a Melee tier list...
Frankly, I’d say she’s more busted in this game than Melee. Like, imagine if only Sheik was able to wavedash. That’s the kind of broken we’re talking about: exclusive ownership of certain mechanics.
@@Brawler_1337
Yeah, I get that. I was just making a joke.
Jason Ultimate I get it. I just find it funny that she’s even more busted here than the game she’s famously busted in.
Ghirahim is quite a bit slow for me, even though some attacks are really fast
Unless they changed it, you can dodge-cancel out of most of his animations. I always found him a lot of fun to use, especially if you play around with his C1.
I don't own this game but when I saw Girahim I immediately thought "welp time to pull out $60 dollars out if my wallet"
You, of all people, should know not to underestimate his power
@@hadesKIU I disagree with volga being a tier a d ganon blades is high I'd put ghirahim a tier a d sheik I think should be a tier and skull kid is in the wrong spot I see him almost around as good as young link and toon link is in the wrong spot he does decent damage at early levels the ones id put s tier
S-Tier
link master sword
young link

ghirahim
A-Tier

ganon blades
link hylian sword
Toon link

Those are the s and a tiers to me I have to level up more characters and see which ones have more long range and close range and see which weapons has advantage over the other
Ghirahim is great for underleveled missions because you can use his H1 to target an enemy and then just blast them from a distance. It's like the most broken part of the master sword, the H3 forward sword beam, but on one button and even stronger.
I know this was four years ago, but as a fellow Girahim stan I really loved him in Warriors. They did a pretty good job showing him as both fabulous and fearsome.
Even tho weapons can be bad in this game, I love that they're all so unique and within the spirit of zelda and the game its self.
I'm just gonna take a sec to thank youtube recommendations for basically telling me that this game is on the Switch and that your channel exists.
The algorithm does work sometimes, guys!
ColdAudio just not very much
>Young Link not being top
Dude, had you even held the magic for the whole round without running it out?
Doing that makes YLink broken
only levels he was bad in was levels the blocked magic use
Young Link without max magic is still amazing. Especially that one combo where he summons a huge triforce and it just explodes.
Honestly, it makes sense for the Master Sword to be the best of the best, I mean really, it's the Master Sword for a reason.
Exactly! It HAS to be the strongest weapon in the game because it's the strongest weapon in Zelda lore in general.
@@StarForce99 You could argue that the strongest weapon is actually the Triforce since it can be used as one. However, using a wish to kill something is a bit overkill unless it happens to be Demise himself.
@@kylepessell1350 I don't count the Triforce as that's more of an item and not in the same line as a sword, spear, crossbows, y'know actual weapons.
Well in age of calamity you can technically use it as a weapon so the assessment is valid!
Did you REALLY sneak Tingle into each title card?
Yes, yes he did. He even sneak in Knuckle, Ankle, and David Jr for Tingle's card.
?
I JUST SAW IT WHEN HE BROUGH UP LINK'S HORSE AND NOW I CAN'T UNSEE IT AAAAGH
Tingle is the secret ss tier because of his omnipotence
I couldn't find him in Yuga's card...
As a minor note, Wizzro has one huge plus that's a huge boost. His C1 is basically able to PASTE common enemies and duels
Finding out you can cancel Lana jumping into the air with her Deku Spear was a HUGE game changer for me, it felt like you could actually get more results without the slowdown of swooping in the air.
17:10 I have never heard the spinner described like that, but now I'm never calling it anything else
You mean the links giant bayblade mount?
When Hyrule Warriors 2 happens and Master Sword gets nerfed, in its place will be True Master Sword
If hyrule warriors 2 happens and master sword gets nerfed hopefully the mighty Volga can take his rightful place at the toppppp

Good to know that most of my favorites are B or A tier. Actually, this was just a great video overall, thanks.

For me, the most glaringly wrong assessments are:
Wizzro (who has an infinite against any non-aura units and is arguably even better at fighting giant bosses than Link and Young Link)
Great Fairy (immune to stun and invulnerable during combo finishers; lacking in reliable damage against named units, but generally very safe with even somewhat decent spacing)
Summon Gate Lana (who isn't intuitive to learn, but has one of the most rewarding attacks in the game in the form of empowered Argorok; just extremely good at fighting named units and crowd control in general).
Few fun things I thought were missing
I love doubling the pillars from Lana's C4 on themselves by cancelling the animation on the first one before the 3 big blocks are sent out, making 6 giant explosions that decimate boss gauges and everything else.
Young Link should've been in S tier
Young Link and possibly Ganon.

Zant is honestly one of my favorite characters in this game
And when he’s the fierce deity everything dies
* dies of laughter*
This game is probably one of the most balanced games I've ever played-- I don't think I will EVER see two people agree on a character. I saw people defending the Summoning Gate, and I HATE that weapon! but my favorite character is wizzro (I'll always say he's the most slept-on character in the game)
Basically, every single weapon and character seems to be SOMEONE'S favorite, because I always notice there's at least one low-tier that people will go up to bat for. There isn't a SINGLE character that at least _one_ person won't go "Actually, there's some hidden depth to them..." for.
...except maybe tingle
All tingle has is AoE, and it’s not even good AoE,
I'm still bitter that the Wii U version got shafted on DLC.

The Wii U version actually has surround sound support though. That's something.
Hasty Attacks saved so many people for me.
Sheik is also another character who gets worse with Hasty Attacks. But that just leaves another slot open for whatever you want.
Yeah, I don't understand how they screwed up Wizzro's C4 in DE. That never happened to me 99.99% of the time on the Wii U version.
Volga is downright comical with Hasty Attacks. He looks like you’re playing the game at 2x or 3x speed. And TBH, I don’t find any problems with Shiek and Hasty Attacks.
Link with spinner is op
"Epona suffers at taking down bosses..."
Me: HAVE YOU NOT SPAMMED THE CARROT MOVE???
Exactly
Ever since I played Young Link on the Wii U, i knew he was broken lol. He can level up so frickin fast AND his C4 (i think it is (where he does the triforce thingy)) is amazing at filling his meter, which can be transfered to Magic and give him Fierce Deity. The whole concept and mechanuc made me realize early on that he was broken. Gg good vid man
I think you forgot to mention Rapier Zelda's c5 without light charge deals more wpg damage on bosses than a full master sword link c3 string
Rapier Zelda is still one of my favorites

@ZeldagigafanMatthew In that case, how do you use Zelda's baton and not go crazy?
Lana's summoning Gate combined with Speedy Attacks and Strength VI and constant dodge cancelling makes Lana literally broken, defeating Bosses in 1-2 C6's.
2020: and then calamity stroke.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who still likes this game 😅
I really like the way you truly think about each placement. You care about the game and it shows.
"Great Fairy worst wep in game."

Trident Ganon's gameplay was always my favorite and always made me feel insanely powerful in my early days of playing this game
Volga has always been my fav since when I got the game; his intro cutscene in the first level was an instant win for me lol, not to mention how powerful he felt to play as :) Awesome vid man, might consider getting the definitive edition
Same for me, except I main Ganondorf (with Volga as a close second).
Milan Malfait oo yerrs Ganondorf is really fun too
I felt really bad for Volga too. He never wanted to be a part of this and got tricked into doing so.
BJGvideos not to mention he doesn’t even get to be canon :(
I want him to be canon in Zelda XD
Fi will remain my favorite character, even though her damage is so bad her Heavy attack does nothing to help it.
Pretty good list. I definitely agree with the top tiers. Didn’t realize Sheik was that strong, tho.
My sister uses Fi when we play multiplayer and she's SUCH a good support character for claiming outposts and keeps while I do the stuff that requires strategy like minibosses and 1 on 1 fights (no offense to her, she said herself she'd rather not think too much lol)
I think shes trash as a Allie cause one time I literally just healed her and already like 10 seconds after she was in trouble
I was kind of expecting Fi to be higher on the list. I feel like she makes the game easy in ways most other characters generally don't. She can kinda just glide around like a little cuisinart without having to care much about what's happening around her, and then explodes from time to time to inflict a lot of damage in a wide area.
Fi has very nice movement, but cannot beat anyone for the heck of it
Literally all the mains of me and my friends are all Dark element characters.
I mainly use Skull Kid, Young Link, and Zant
My two friends who I play this gane with use Girahim and Ravio respectively.
I don't know if I should be afraid or not that we all gravitate towards darkness.

I use toon Zelda, tingle (for fun) ravio, skull kid, wizzaro, twilight midna, midna and zant most of them are dark XD
*the triforce if power is resonateing*
my mains are boot linkle, swords gannon and toon link.
if i want to switch it up, i'll go rapier zelda, midna, or maybe ruto.
Lana's Sorcerer's Book should be higher tier because you can actually set up more than one wall for her C1, which devastates everything
True story dude! You have my support.
When young link is the fierce deity, everything dies........
Accurate
I should get this game again. It's just whenever I play the adventure maps and they force Agitha on me... just... noooooo......
she is a character that is only fun to play once you understand her. give her a chance on some maps she isnt required, and maybe you'll change your mind. only problem is that with how easy characters like link are to play, even understanding agitha, she isnt often my first choice.
I felt the same with the magic book of lana... can’t utilise this weapon at all..
Agitha is fucking terrible. God I hate her. and Wizzro
just spam beetle (C1 + Heavy i think). its slow, but everything dies.
@@snagger28 i tend to utilize C4 a lot when using the book. provides some nice area clearing and damage for C1, and stacking two on top of each other is enough to tear down a boss WPG (make sure to do it on the same angle, though. all the books have to explode, otherwise the gauge is not drained enough). not my preferred weapon, but i can do some work with it
Everytime I see this game I'm like "Holy shit I've never seen those things before has there been a new dlc?!"
Then I realize that no, it's just that despite spending so many hours on the game I've still not unlocked everything, haa
i say volga deserves to be S-tier because of just how spammable his C2 is to the point where enemy commanders can't really do anything to escape it that isn't the invincibility frames of a special attack/combo finisher. his C5, while indeed slow, has MASSIVE AOE that can clear any keep in a single go and it's made even better by the fact that you can control where volga impacts the ground. his guard breaking is crazy powerful and there's little anybody can do against him.
And if you add hasty attacks to his weapon and get him into spirit focus he's insanely powerful. He's easily on top of my list
His C3 works great for Giant Bosses.
Something that Ghirahim is also really good at, is bringing enemies close to him
one time specifically, I was in the scenario where you have to catch the three fleeing Lanas, Ghirahim's C1 followed by C2 sent one of the Lanas literally flying back towards me
*sees Lana's Gate in D tier*
I thought the Gate was gonna be higher, but oh well...
ON. I also love Gohma and Manhandla; neither's as good as Argorok but nothing to sneeze at.
i think tingle is going to be top tier
dang I was wrong :(
I'd put him at A or B in the Wii U version but lower in Switch. He hits like a truck in the Wii u one!
BJGvideos you don’t get the joke
@@Magic_Ice it didn't sound like one at all.
BJGvideos it’s an inside thing. You wouldn’t get it.
@@BearfaxII yes that too, forgot how it absolutely destroys weakpoints. Sends the target miles away tho.
Heads up: Ruto can actually clear boss weak point gauges in one go. You just gotta start her neutral string BEFORE the WPG shows, hit it with the giant water bubbles, cancel and do another neutral string. Boom. Take a look for yourself!
took me 10 years to finally understand this game but its now one of my favorite games. Age of calamity was a complete step back though
;)
I didn't think the Great Fairy would be this low. I actually got along with her very well. Yes she is slow but her attacks are really strong
she can nuke a keep
I'm surprised how much I disagree with this list. For example, I would put Great Fairy and Ruto higher, and put Baton Zelda in E tier. Still a great video.
Baton is good
Something that is BS is that If Wizzro is Being controlled/an Ally, then he’s mediocre but if he’s an enemy then he is the most annoying piece of shit in this game, it’s not fair that the enemies get a broken ass character while the players/allied forces get a mediocre one
(My opinion)
How in the world is the giant blade even considered an ok weapon?
I've never liked the Giant Blade. It's slow has pathetic range, and doesn't have a good Giant Boss killer.
22:15 'and its smashy smashy statues' that sounds like a reference to a let's play I once watched on twilight princess

*you will have to do this when HW: AOC comes out.*

Young Link not being in S is so insane when hes got the mastersword max heart bonus on command
Never expected to see one of these. Neato. Nice Vid.
A few things. I use to label things.
Captains: The Zelda enemies you fight that are not playable.
Generals: The playable characters
C1-5: Number corresponds to many times you press light attack before a strong attack.
Shield Crush: Literally breaking the enemy's guard
Weak Point Crush: The gauge to use the weak point smash
However, I feel you made quite a few characters sound a lot less powerful than they actually are.
While a few others you oversold,
Those being Shiek, Sword Ganon, Twili Midna, Toon Zelda, Baton Zelda, Dominion Rod.
Now,
Focus Spirit alongside the potential of having fairy abilities? He quite literally lives and breaths Focus spirit. Hell, you can actually soft lock yourself in certain story missions for destroying the enemies faster than the scripts can even activate. There is one situation in which another character is better, and that's when no magic is allowed. But that is one limitation whereas he can dominate every other situation by far.
S+ tier if that was actually possible.
Sword Impa
She's significantly more reserved and less busted than the others, however she is still really good.
Sword Link
Link's strength is that he is consistent.
100% an S tier
Ghirahim
Ghirahim is actually pretty busted.
Gauntlets
Gauntlets is just really cheesy.
B Tier
Spinner
Spinners is one of the better weapons since those set ups that you said take so long, actually can one shot boss shields and instakill most captains while taking advantage of most captain's and general's start up animations since you can use that time to start the combo that insta crushes their shield. Effectively, he's really good at CC and boss slaying which is a lot more than most characters.
A Tier
Rapier
Rapier has access to two hands down amazing moves in C4 and C5.
B Tier
Cutlass is indeed short ranged, but Tetra is one of the best duelists and is also access to a defense negating C5 move.
A Tier
Now, on to those you oversold.
C Tier
Twili Midna and Sword Ganon.
B Tier
Toon Zelda
You mentioned in your video. She's just average. Other characters can animation cancel better than she can.
C Tier
Baton Zelda and Dominion Zelda
Quite simply, the lack of movement KILLS their viability in anything where high morale is concerned. Decent at boss weak point crushing, but others are significantly better.
C Tier
A few honorable slight mentions.
Tingle
Much better than you think. He is one of the few characters that can guarantee a weak point crush on captains and generals in a single combo. A really good duelist.
C-B Tier
Ruto
Generally bad, but has some INSANE tech where every single of her moves can be activated then canceled out of so you can actually use the moves attacks, without the commitment. You can use her C5 for example, then dodge cancel and move into a C2 combo to suck in enemies, while her C5 move is still activated.
D Tier
Spear Lana
Her moves can be used as shields and she like Ruto, can cancel her C5 into another move while C5 is still active.
D-B Tier (Rank one is really bad, but her Rank 3 actually can put in work.)
Wizzro
His C3 is one of the best weak point crushing moves on most bosses, and his C2 can combo VERY well as a weak point crush on most generals.
Fe warriors tier list next? Or do you just agree with Nn li?
I don't think there's much to talk about FE warriors... There are 4 or 5 play styles, repeated for *all* characters. It would be a 5min video.
@@Rapha2587 Nah
@@Rapha2587 But like the skills for HW, FEW has stats for each character, each character style and stats has makes them feel much different
An end-game FE Warriors would basically only have 2 criteria.
- Is the character a mounted unit?
- Does he/she has a good luck stat?
That's all it would come down to, Luna + Galeforce + Niles' skill I forgot the name of are just *that* broken from mid to end game.
I swear I'm one of the only complete absolute casuals who adores Agitha's moveset.
My first Warriors game was the first Warriors game... my first Zelda, was the first Zelda...
Feeling old 👴
Lol my eyes popped out of my head when one of my S tier picks was literally the first weapon dropped at the bottom of the list. The Great Fairy’s immense damage and massive amounts of invincibility frames put her on even footing with the likes of Young Link and Volga in my eyes.
Yup. She wipes out entire armies in a single combo and crushes commanders without the need to WPG breaks. Giant monsters are her only weakness.
Chris Weekley Her C6 actually shreds down boss weak points too. The timing is difficult, but it’s very doable.
