We are empty nesters ..but my father in-law just moved in with us ..but his bedroom used to be my sons room..but all four walls has shelves ..my boys would put there shoes on shelves..but now it hooks my extra things..like paper towels,TOILET paper..and whatever I need to store on them 👍👍
Looks great! My grow room is now in the basement with our backup pantry. I have the same seed cases and yes, seeds are like Christmas to a gardener! I love following your journey. What you are accomplishing now is where I hope to get once my little guys are older. You guys should check out the Homesteaders of America Conference held in VA in October. It might be right up your alley!
i heard your pain as your voice caught, brenda. it gave me the feels. this will be my 12th growing season where i can't share my bounty with the woman that made me, and i am still sadly raw about that. it gets different as time goes on. grow on!
So sorry about your mom..... It's a very painful loss. My mom definitely left a lot behind in children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. I pray for comfort as you grieve this loss.
Hi. A high tunnel is a lightweight greenhouse. It's plastic stretched over steel poles. We did a video on ours last year. I was able to grow spinach in it all winter this year. It's not heated, but it gives enough protection to help things stay alive. ua-cam.com/video/rk6b-JB4w2U/v-deo.html&t

Thanks!!! Storage is ALWAYS in demand here. Old farmhouses just don't provide a lot of that so I get creative in where I can keep things.

They are led 5000 K lights. The ones we have are Intertekl. We got them from Sam's Club.
