My golden white clouds have been with me for a good while and they still manage to impress me!!! These fish can have so much personality, and their memory+facial recognition is fantastic.
I don’t use a heater. Rams are fine. I live in a tropical country and no air conditioning. If I live in a seasonal country, then they may not be suitable
Golden white cloud minnows are beautiful yet underrated fish. I have them breeding in a 10 gallon and living in a 36 gallon planted tank. Beautiful coloration.
Thanks to your video I have been able to find , so far here in the UK, two new Rice Fish for my small lily pond that I keep inside a garden shed but it is submerged into the groung about 20 inches deep so the water doesn't get too hot in summer.. Winter, though, we sometimes get frost and I want to know if, like the Rice Fish, do the White Cloud Minnows also withstand the cold winters. I have been told they do. Thanks for your help.

The tetras with the red eyes that were in the tank with the Silvertip and Black Neons are Lemon Tetras.They're just pretty washed out in that tank but they'll get more of their yellow coloring once properly established in a proper tank.I had a small group of them(a group of 9) before.
@@RyoWatanabee Those tetras pretty much need a bigger tank though it to make an effective display because they're rather active sand one of the bigger tetras and also they look better in larger groups.Once I have my bigger tank made,I'd definitely add Lemon Tetras on the list of fish that I'd be adding.Another alternative would be Black Neons or Glowlights.

We all make some mistakes. I never kept small fish in my 240 gallon until the last year plus. I learned. Never mix slow movers with fast in a large aquarium as getting food to the small and slow is hard when fast Rainbows and Danio's are around. Its, fast minnow type..or slow and plodding to themselves. Don't mix!
Those dumbo guppies are so awesome. Would you recommend getting rid of a ram horn snail in a 20L that has two horned nerite snails, one adult and one baby?
Idk if u should be keep rams and white clouds together because rams need a high temp around 80 and the white clouds need a temp below 76 to be comfortable

I think guppies are not really fit in the thank, cuz they will keep breeding and soon or later they just die. I would recommend the red phantom tetra, the red on this fish will perfectly fit in.
Compared to lemon tetra I would prefer diamond tetra. The glare on this fish and display are way better than lemon tetra. Silver tip is good choice too, it won’t grow too big and the color of the male is close to orange, it’s gorgeous.

i have a amazon sword for about 2 months and once their is white roots hanging of some of the small leaves take them off and replant them to grow more amazon swords just a simple tip!!!!
I have a tank with 4 gold and 6 long finned mountain minnows. They rewrite neons and chili red dumbo guppies. Temp is at 74 which I think everyone like. Do you quarantine?

i kinda feel like the golden white clouds arent suitable to be with rams. rams want pretty high temperature, while minnows want a cooler temp.

Cloud Minnows do just fine in higher temps no stress they just won’t breed, and higher metabolism=shorter life

Scrub the algae off of the glass, siphon out water, then full back with water. Very simple

Anubias takes long to grow but if you have co2, they grow much faster

i do recommend to put the flakes straight into the water - not on the surface. its more natural, and it prevents the fish from swallowing air!
