I believe you should never need excuses for not filming. Enjoy your life. We'll catch up with you when you do post. And thanks for the forest scenery. Wish I could smell it.
You are getting some beautiful May conditions finally it looks like on Northern Vancouver Island...Brr...still quite chilly still here in Victoria. i am enjoying all the lovely vistas you have presented with Frank...thanks.
You are a mega trooper Amanda, working thru hard times with multiple ailments. Our bodies are so complex. I hope you never feel pressured to film and post for us, I personally would never expect that from anyone. I feel the same way about too much driving on any backroads, it is taxing for sure. Try infused nettle for your allergies if you haven’t already, she is a powerhouse 🌿 antihistamine ~Cheers from the Kootenays
Ugh. I can relate to struggling with allergies. I have asthma and if my allergies get too bad, they turn into sinus infections and sometimes bronchitis. So don't feel bad for saying it's just allergies. They are no fun at all! Rest and take care of yourself!
Beautiful scenery once again Amanda! Thank you so much for sharing. I'm happy you are on the road to recovery after one of those bouts of being sickly.
Your visual footage is the best, especially where the mountains meet bodies of water. I hope you and Frank feel better and have the best summer ever!!!
Spring is killer with allergies. In Sask. it never stops blowing wind. It has been so dusty. I get what you mean about your allergies. This will pass and you will feel better soon.
I have allergies. Hate it. Hope you can take some meds to feel better. No need to suffer. And rest rest rest. Those plant life shots were fantastic!! Thank you for that. A gift.
Frank is such a goober sweetheart chooky choo...😊💙 I absolutely love your panned shots, (that first walk with the heavy ferns was my episode fav', so up my alley), the river footage made me want to stick at least most of my legs in, the clarity was stunning - last but not least, the close ups of the plant life, (again, right up my alley), all so beautiful.. Enjoy the smooth road once you hit it, it's such a welcome treat... I remember when we were kids up in AK on the weekend jaunts, those gravel miles were neverending so it seemed. 😊✌❤🍀🌻🌻🌻👍
Staying tough and pushing on. All while inviting us aling via vid..Thankyou.....air down tires for extended washboard roads..UV ozime light can polish up the truck aie and chase out the moldys....Your rocking it. Spresd joy
Frank is such a cutie! That first scene of him chewing on the rotting log is fantastic. I had terrible allergies (hay fever) for the first 40 years of my life....occasionally totally debilitating. What finally helped...a Dr. explained to me that allergies are your body's immune system overreacting to "stuff". It thinks it is under attack and is making extreme effort to "save the body". So, what I do is, lay down in a quiet place, with a warm, wet wash cloth over my face and I tell my body that, "it's ok. We're not under attack. This "stuff" (pollen and dust for me) is just annoying. It's not going to kill us....so, relax! Hope this helps. It changed my life - at least in springtime. Thanks for sharing.
I'd hate to have those allergies that you have after seeing all the most beautiful scenery you've showed. I think that's the best scenery I've seen so far
I love the endings of the videos, for the "If you've made it this far...." part. It's kind of like a secret-club time, where it's just the dedicated watchers, and then we get the hand-gestures to the other video suggestions. My favourite ending hand-gesture is the rare occasional "bottom middle" item, with the flowing hand wave in that direction. I always think of "Price is Right" models during that time, with the hand gestures, haha.
Hi Amanda and Frank. Take care of yourself. I wish you well, enjoy it all! Have an amazing time, and enjoy the changes that you will be making! See you.
Stay well Amanda, be careful not to over exhaust yourself, stress is a strange balancing act between healthy levels and unhealthy, as extreme stress is the major cause of illness. I imagine that you're up on keeping on top of such things as vitamin supplements and being mindful of the dangers of vitamin deficiencies, also importantly, especially when the metabolism is in the healing process the need for additional levels of protein. Seeing Frankie at rest in the Van when you're surrounded by all that gorgeous snow country gives a really nice sense of warmth and positivity. You really are most fortunate to be in such an awesome and beautiful part of the World. Drive safely and all the best regards from here on the West Coast side of Australia 🌏🖖🙏🤟🌻🐨
Thank you for making this video. I needed to hear every word you said in regards to health struggles that are same. Today I feel horrid from another allergy storm and realizing in a month I be back to living in my van again because I just can’t make a living to sustain housing. It takes a lot of energy to live on the road. But the housing makes me ill, no safe housing for mast cell response. To offset the allergic response to housing and an exposure to see loved ones I spend about 6-8 hours in two local outdoor parks that have the air quality to reset my system. Can’t imagine the hell without those two spaces. Difficult to almost impossible to cohabitate because there are just too many triggers to my system sacrificing that others might enjoy life fully. I’m so sorry you struggle with this yet so thankful for the gifts you have to earn a sustainable income and embrace the lifestyle that keeps you as well as you can be. Be free. I had three young kids when my system tilted from the load of the condition and well…. that didn’t work so well. I’m so proud of your choices Amanda! When you said that to Frank I Laughed so hard. Such a mom thing . He is a sweet baby ❤️❤️❤️
Uhhhh my reaction to what I imagined the *Po-Po was thinking when he happened* *upon Truck there being alllll so innocent is . . . "su-weeet something to DO TODAY* *in this small community . . .someone else to tallllk to maybe?* "
Amanda stay as healthy as you can we will always be here take all the time you need! You do amazing videos and just so you know out of all the van life you are so interesting and authentic it’s refreshing really! I love the dynamic of you and Frank!!! I have my baby boy too!!!! His name is Goosenberry we call him Goose! He is from a shelter and that was his name and he is my baby!!! You rock
I am sorry you are struggling so hard with allergies. I hope you are feeling better soon. Still loved the video and all the great content. So happy you and Frank had some family near you could visit and chill out for a bit. Get some rest :)
❤️💚the video. I had no idea what EDS is so I looked it up. Wow. You are amazing. You do so much and have such a happy mindset. Kudos to you and thanks for sharing this uplifting passion with us.
I like the color of your van Amanda - so appropriate for the forest - you fit right in! I really enjoy seeing Beautiful British Columbia in your video's! Thanks for sharing your on going story.
Every year that goes by I suffer more and more with allergy migraines. Had two this past week and they knocked me on my ass. And the budding here has just begun. agh. All my best to you and Frank.
What a paradise of a spot ... sun drappled forest on your walk. Sorry you are sick, might be time to get some meds, see a Doc? ... thanks for sharing your time.
Hi Amanda and Frank, I'm so sorry you were sick and under the weather....sucks when one is roughing it, sorta speak. GLAD your feeling better. My Son and I took a drive to the beach, scenery was no where as beautiful as where your at, but never the less still a very Happy Vibe. Stay safe Amanda..huggs for frank..looking forward to your next video. 💞🏞🌲🐾🍁🍂🥀🌿🙋♀️
In my next life, I want to come back as Frank 😂. He is so chill about everything, and loves a good stick. Not trying to give unsolicited advice, but I find echinacea tea can give me temporary relief from stuffy sinuses. Stay well, take care. Love your channel. 🌷
Amanda, you are so right about traveling taking a toll on the body. I hadn’t thought about it in terms of backcountry roads taking a toll on banging our brains around. I’m glad you are taking care of yourself. I think you have discovered a suitable way to be a traveling/vlogging You Tuber. I loved the bit when you offered Frank coffee and praised him for his choices and then went to a shot of him drinking river water. I’ve been subscribed since the beginning and will go check out Forrest’s video. You manage your chronic illnesses well and I think you make good choices about attitude around that. Now go drink some water. Be well.
Oh Amanda you are amazing! You manage to do so much even with health issues! Thank you for all you’ve done and the care and professionalism you show in your videos. The police officer picked up on your genuinely kind nature. Be kind to yourself, rest up for more adventures coming your way !
Take care of yourself, you deserve it, you really really do. Only you can know what you need. Love Frank, whose sticker made my new water bottle today!!! He is so happy to see me drinking water!!! As a landscaper, I love the flowers and forage on it too.
You did another beautiful video despite feeling unwell. I hope you feel better very soon, and wish you good health and safe travels. You’re a trooper ❤️
Vancouver Island is beautiful. I hope I get to go there someday. Does Frank have arthritis in his hips? Thanks for posting, glad things are getting better now.
I definitely know some of your health issues. I myself am in bed sick. Heavy chest and nasal congestion. And you know that asthma compounds your inability to breathe. Then you can pile on the allergies. I’m a mess. But on the upside. It’s a great campsite if it has sticks. You showed some great pools to swim. Pretty icy now but would be great places to cool off. Have a great week, feel better soon and cheers from Vancouver eh!
Amanda, I SO appreciate you sharing all the beauty of the island with us. My mum moved to Victoria from Toronto, when she was 74 years old. She, like you, had an adventuresome daring free spirit and a love for beauty, especial out in nature. I know she made several trip up north on the island and LOVED it! She was a camper & would have loved your vlog! I thank you again for sharing your travels and adventures with us. My mum passed at age almost 90, in 2016. I miss visiting her and the island. (I currently live in Colorado). Thanks for bringing it closer. Glad you are feeling better. Hope your allergies lighten up soon. Your positive attitude about everything brightens my day! You are, what my mum would call " plucky". Definitely a compliment. Safe travels.
Hi Amanda! Sorry you're not feeling well, just rest and please don't feel pressured to put out content. Of course we LOVE anything you put out but your true fans will never begrudge you a rest. I've been bingeing all your vids, so inspiring. My dog cut his pad on some broken glass on the beach so lots of time to catch up on all your content. Do you take oil of oregano? I take it whenever I'm getting run down and it seems to help, don't know about allergies though. I also tried smoked tofu...yum!! I was a vegetarian for 30 years and never had it, thanks for the recommendation👍✌️🇨🇦
Am new to your channel, first watched yesterday & subscribed. Your doing a wonderful job. Love all the nature & Frank segments. Frank is adorable 😍. What is the fry or pan bread? Sometime, I'd like to see how you make that. Take care of yourself. Frank needs you. And so do your viewers. ✌
The shot of you cooking breakfast on a lake in what has to be the most beautiful place and shot I 've ever seen.....and it's wearing on you? I'd just enjoy mornings like that and believe the drive was worth it!!!
Hi, Amanda (and Frank)! I always love your videos. It's nice being able to journey with you to places I will probably never have the chance to visit myself. Today's video was particularly impactful for me because I too suffer from severe allergies and mixed connective tissue disease. Because MCTDs affect such a small percentage of us, most people don't understand what you're going through and it is easy to feel like you're all alone in your struggles. So, thank you for sharing your story and experiences. I feel inspired by it, and less alone.
The scenery was sublime!! The flowers, waterfalls, foliage… and in the end, the last place you were, the sound of the birds was heaven… Hope you are feeling better! Hugs to you and Frank! X
Forrest is currently broken down. I made a donation....he/ Different Media has such great content... Thanks for a Sunday morning video. You are very fluid with your lifestyle. It always rises up to meet you.
I hope he gets the support he needs to get back on the road, I wanna film another tour with him so he can combine it with old footage for a story through time
Hi Amanda & Mr Frank ☺️ That was good of the policeman to let you stay there since you were obviously exhausted. It is a safer for you than being in the road. I just watched a good commercial on your video, it was Amazon with an Indian woman mother working and delivering packages on her scooter in India’s all women’s warehouse with the music playing “it’s a man’s world”.....
Looks to me like you have the best companion you could possibly ask for. I am sure that alone is a benifitnto your overall health. What you are doing is going to benefit your health in so many ways you can not begin to list them. Peace and rest are the absolute best medicine.
I get it. I too have issues that can/do take me out for days/weeks/months as well. The hardest part of it is the not knowing when or how bad it will be. I'm always concerned with: am I doing too much? too little? I never really plan anything because I have no idea how my body/mind will be. I cannot work and retired early from the military (which was a blessing in disguise), that was a really hard transition at my age (41 now, retired a little over a year ago). I saw this meme on Instagram not too long ago that said it perfectly; "What gets me about my disability isn't that I can't do stuff, it's that I DON'T KNOW if I'll be able to do stuff. Doing a thing can either put me in bed for days, it can be totally fine - no big deal, or randomly make me feel better 🤷♀️. 24 hours later the rules change again." It can be very frustrating, tiring, and extremely depressing. I'm sorry you have to deal with all that. Thank you for sharing so others know they are not alone! You and Frank are in my thoughts, my friend 😊
Hope you are feeling good today Amanda. I have used Nettle Tincture with great success for debilitating allergies. I have seen you collect fresh nettle ~ such good medicine. Be well.
My friend has EDS and it runs in her family. I had never heard of it before her diagnosis. I'm glad you took time to get better. Yeah, allergies are terrible to deal with. Your videos are wonderful, BC is so lovely. One day I'll make it to western Canada and have a look for myself. Sending you lots of healing vibes.
Love your outlook on life even when you're sick. I have many bad days but really take heart watching the videos from the people I subscribed to. You're very wise for someone so young
Being sick is just horrible, especially when it’s nice outside. I have a number of auto-inflammatory conditions, myself, that really knock me on my backside when one or more of them flare. I’m hope you’re feeling better. As always, the scenery shared in this video is absolutely gorgeous. Man! Canada is so beautiful!!
So sorry your allergies were so bad. I really hope your feeling better. Frank was a darling taking his stick on his walk. Sending you alot of positive vibes hoping you feel better soon.
Hey Amanda I watched your video on the my big TV today which made the scenery even more amazing than watching it on my little phone screen you are amazing Amanda you always make my day I love watching you and Frank I follow you and eight others from the Vancouver area and every time I watch you guys videos it makes me wanna come and visit Vancouver island keep the great videos coming hope you feel better so happy you got to see your grandparents that is awesome stay safe feel better and have fun 🇺🇸♥️🙏🐾🐾☮️🌍🇨🇦
Oh no Amanda I'm so sorry you're not feeling good . That is no fun I hope you've got vitamins and please stay hydrated . Also please try to sleep inclined so congestion doesn't build up in your lungs 🙂👍
Thanks for sharing close up pics of the exquisite dainty little wildflowers, I have found that is something often overlooked by adventurers who are just focused on the van interior or the larger view of the landscape.
I must of nearly been "with" you from the start. Happy first anniversary 🎈 Never apologize for having a break. Trust your health improves. Love and blessings from the land down under💛💚🇦🇺
Hope this finds you and Frank feeling well 😊 Thank you for sharing all the beautiful scenery and all the parts of your life that you share. GOD bless you and Frank 🙏 take care!
While it might be trying at times when you aren't feeling well living in the van, ultimately, I think it's great for your overall health and peace of mind. Frank just loves a great stick, doesn't he? even if it's almost a tree. You are brilliant about the potato stir fry. I make something similar for breakfast and always end up with almost burned onions, but it never dawned on me to cook the potatoes first then add the onions and peppers. TY for this :)
I understand about the health stuff, I live with those surprise(!) flare ups that can debilitate within minutes to an hour. I'm glad you are in a position to rest when you need to, and be able to find a way to enjoy the magic around you. Acceptance goes a long way in dealing with these challenges, doesnt it? So cool about the waterfront property! My dad would call it "clean out the engine" when opening up the throttle. 😁 Those rough roads are bone rattling. Hard on Truck, too. 😪 Your new endings always crack me up about our attention spans and what not. Peace! ✌️❤️🐕
You are so good to Frank and loyal to yourself and l want to tell you are AMAZING in all that you do to get content out for us viewers /subscribers. I get inspired Everytime l see your lastest video. Thanks from my heart to yours & Franks. Stay strong and l will keep you both on my prayers... Love you guys...
Hello Amanda And Frank. The forest trail so beautiful. Yes I too loved the pine fresh smell in the forest/woods so fresh. The water fall really pretty. Thank you for sharing ❤️since this video been three months I'm wishing you well since you were sick. Safe travels
Your feature presentations among other stuff is quite enthralling & genuinely awesome. Thanks for your effort. We enjoy your views. Frank is frankly very cool.
Hi from Tennessee USA. Fantastic video. Great camp 🏕 sights. Sorry that you have bad allergies 🤧. That really sucks. They can really wipe you out. Thanks for sharing and have a great day.

Omg *@**5:53** - @**6:24* I laughed & smiled so hard I cried. SO much in this video-omg I am SO confused of time line but that is ok. All I kept saying to you is to 'not' come back for along time if you could due to the disaster of a mess the world it is. Sorry to hear you got ill. Now Amannnda @7:13 🙌 in my crazy mind, that lives for heart shaped stones, welllll I cried again because I was thinking other day ..."it has been awhile since Amanda scored a heart rock to share" .... annnnd there it was. You are a star. Then my heart melted @10:36 then again @15:36 OMG Frankee baby is a dream @16:01 - @16:10 eeeee And of course @21:14 pure gold as usual
I believe you should never need excuses for not filming. Enjoy your life. We'll catch up with you when you do post. And thanks for the forest scenery. Wish I could smell it.
That cop made the right decision! He put your safety first
Awww that was nice of him. He could tell you are a genuine person that try’s to do the right thing. Rest up girl and feel better.
You did a great job. The flowers, the mountains, the waterfalls, the rivers, and Frank of course, were all beautiful
You are getting some beautiful May conditions finally it looks like on Northern Vancouver Island...Brr...still quite chilly still here in Victoria. i am enjoying all the lovely vistas you have presented with Frank...thanks.

yeahhhh thats when I started looking for you then following you
I'd hate to have those allergies that you have after seeing all the most beautiful scenery you've showed. I think that's the best scenery I've seen so far

Frank says if there are sticks, I approve 💙🐾🚐😁
You just get to feeling better. We will be here whenever you post. We love you and Frank. Sending positive thoughts and healing vibes.
You literally went from spring back to winter! 🤪
Frank and a stick is always the purest love story. I hope you will have all your strength back very soon.
You are awesome! Great video even when sicky! Hugs to you and Frank!!!!
Oh that river looks so awesome, beautiful and peaceful. Prayers 🙏 ❤ 🙏 ❤ of healing for you and Frank.
Forrest is currently broken down. I made a donation....he/ Different Media has such great content...
Thanks for a Sunday morning video. You are very fluid with your lifestyle. It always rises up to meet you.
I hope he gets the support he needs to get back on the road, I wanna film another tour with him so he can combine it with old footage for a story through time
@@tidelinetoalpine me too. That interview with you was really good. And both tours. I really enjoy his channel. It's unique. Happy Beltane.
Get well soon.
I saw this meme on Instagram not too long ago that said it perfectly;
"What gets me about my disability isn't that I can't do stuff, it's that I DON'T KNOW if I'll be able to do stuff. Doing a thing can either put me in bed for days, it can be totally fine - no big deal, or randomly make me feel better 🤷♀️. 24 hours later the rules change again."
It can be very frustrating, tiring, and extremely depressing. I'm sorry you have to deal with all that. Thank you for sharing so others know they are not alone!
You and Frank are in my thoughts, my friend 😊
Great video! Like someone already mentioned, when the immune system is challenged, avoid all stress as much as possible. No more dirt roads!
I hope you're feeling better. Nice heart shaped rock and potato chip! Frank's idea of a stick LOL. All the best to you and Sweet Frank
So beautiful there!
So sorry your allergies were so bad. I really hope your feeling better. Frank was a darling taking his stick on his walk. Sending you alot of positive vibes hoping you feel better soon.

Oh no Amanda I'm so sorry you're not feeling good . That is no fun I hope you've got vitamins and please stay hydrated . Also please try to sleep inclined so congestion doesn't build up in your lungs 🙂👍
Drink a lot of tea ☕️ don’t forget to add the extras 😏
Frank and the stick lol
Thanks for sharing close up pics of the exquisite dainty little wildflowers, I have found that is something often overlooked by adventurers who are just focused on the van interior or the larger view of the landscape.
I love all the water up there, here in the Southwest it sure is dry!
It’s the rainforest 💦 temperate not tropical but it does have its own challenges like mold and it make the cold soak into your bones 🥶
I must of nearly been "with" you from the start. Happy first anniversary 🎈
Never apologize for having a break.
Trust your health improves. Love and blessings from the land down under💛💚🇦🇺
Hope this finds you and Frank feeling well 😊
Thank you for sharing all the beautiful scenery and all the parts of your life that you share.
