I really wanted to fit my entire Nevada journey into one video but as I reviewed the footage I realized WAY too much happened for that to be a possibility so I’ll share the much more remote and adventurous part 2 in a few days! Have a great weekend and I’ll see ya soon 🫶🏻
I also get migraines and apart from the intense pain, the nausea is the worst. Funnily enough I always feel better if I'm not just nauseous, but actually throw up. I however take migraine medication which also helps. The scenery is fantastic and I would give anything to be alone in such an environment, but unfortunately that's not possible. I'm grateful to be following you and see it through your and Frank's eyes. He's awesome. Looking forward to your other adventures and videos. Greetings from South Africa 🇿🇦
I love that park... gotta put it on my bucket list. I hope you can get some medicine for the headaches, I have some that disolves under my tongue that addresses the nausea and migraines effects like magic.
@@tidelinetoalpine living his best life Amanda, even still as he ages. You are a great dog Mom, we give them food, shelter, warmth, affection - in return they give us everything they are. Could you give him a pat from this complete stranger? *waves hello from New Zealand*
It blows my mind how enmeshed you are wherever you are. You are so present. Watching you squeeze through that slot canyon. Just took us viewers to another mental level. Rock on. Thank you.☮💜🐾🐾🐾🐾👏👏👏👏🐾🐾🐾👏👏👏🐾🐾🐾
used to get bummed out about not stopping at every place that looked interesting, but then I realized: "this is my life!" I don't have to see it all, and whatever I miss leaves something to be explored the next time I roll through (which I inevitably will bc "this is my vanlife")
My buddy and I, we are both, “Seasoned Citizens,” took a road trip on our motorcycles on Rt. 66. Our rule was to stop at all the roadside attractions, one’s that our parents would not stop at or stop at all except for gas and food. We had a blast, felt like kids again.
Amanda you and Frank stop at the most amazing places. Thank you for those beautiful scenic views. OMG, I especially loved the way Frank looked when he wanted to get out of the van with his blue stuffed bear in his mouth. I'm so happy that Frank got to explore with you as well. And of course eating snow. I am relieved that you knew not to take that person to his destination. I think you've said that go with your instincts. You are a very kind person, but safety conscious too! Sorry you didn't feel so good for those few days. Be safe and enjoy yourself.
So good to see Frank out on a 'hike' thru the narrows😊 I really appreciated your observation between people out sbooting (and trashing) with those hunters.. its like the difference between party weekend campers and those who join with nature to be whole❤ happy you had memorable times. Glad you stayed safe!
Hey Amanda, that was so much fun. The scenery was amazing the salt caves and most of all seeing Frank getting out and walking a little bit enjoying the salt caves enjoying a little bit of Snow Frank is so happy you and Frank are amazing. You guys always make my day. Be safe. Safe travels.🇺🇸♥️🙏🙂🐾🪵🔥🏔️🚐🇨🇦
I was there last year in May to memorialize my friend who loved this hot spring. Beautiful view of the mountains. It is sad that many people aren't respectful to these natural areas. Sorry you hit a drop off. Hope you and Frank are ok.
Magnificent mud hills you were walking in between! Definitely a place I'd like to check out. Frank just loving his time outside with you is always a joy! I guess their called " slot canyon"? Wonderful lake too.
In Arizona, we call shooting trash, trigger trash. I have to agree with you that it's very disrespectful to trash the land. I use legal shooting ranges.
Wow, what a cool looking mud canyon. Great photography, Amanda. Safe travels for you and Frank. Follow your gut instincts always. May God protect you and Frank. blessings to you 🙏
You are so right about Highway 50. We drove it 25 yrs ago and even then was not the loneliest. We did full time RV for 14 yrs and saw worse. Happy trails.
I'm from Hawaii, Native Hawaiian, never thought I'd like the desert, but i absolutely love it!! Thanks for the ride! ❤ Also, rhe loneliest road has a big race every year...all kinds of vehicles show up, you can drive at top speed...or not...and there are parties in nearby towns...
Girl, if you ever go close to Oklahoma, My parent's have 100 acres and I would love to meet you. We have pond's, and lakes. I love camping there. We can go to the lake. Lot's of stuff to do. Fishing, boating, etc. Kimberly
That hot spring is one of the most popular in Nevada. There's others less well known, but 4wd for access. For locals to give travelers recommendations spoils remoteness.
Beautiful weirdness Amanda 😊 Really amazing places and the scenery is spectacular! I am with you and these people that have NO respect for their surroundings. Be safe and look forward to part 2
Regarding your comment about not lingering or straying on your journey because of your destination, I think just soaking in the views as you drive can be breathtaking and imprint memories you'll always have. And, you'll know if places you could stop next time. Make note of them on your maps! I've been out west once in a semi but my eyes were glued to the views around me. I couldn't get enough. So different than the little ole state of Indiana. Lol it did make me long to go back in a car......one day it will be a camper van! 😊
I think the reason I keep watching your videos, even though you never really say "much" at all, is that you don't make a pretense of saying all kinds of important things that I just "have to watch." You are just sharing your day and the places you have discovered. As someone who has already spent 6 years out vandwelling, I don't need someone to give me "7 tips for blah blah blah..." It's just nice to see how your day went. It's nice to see how you are dealing with an aging dog. I have decided that I will get a dog, if I ever go out full time again. But, I also know that that will commit me to staying out on the road, because I couldn't keep a dog in a truck while I hang out in a coffee shop in Austin. AND, I also know that, even as old as I am, said dog will get old even faster. I was talking with a good friend, and we concluded that me taking a dog out with me vandwelling would still be a much better life for that dog than staying in the shelter. I won't be able to afford, probably even as many veterinarian visits as you do, and I will probably choose older dogs to begin with... But, those last few years with me will still be better for that dog than languishing in the shelter, or getting put down too early just because they don't want to bother with an aging dog. Even if all I am is "hospice care" and one last adventure for some dogs, that is still better than the alternative.
Frank loves him some snow . I love watching him he looks so happy and i know he loves you soo much. As U Do Him . What a Beautiful Place where u hiked . Thanks for sharing your journey with me i love watching you n Frank ❤️. He looked so happy on his little hike . Stay Safe. Safe Travels Always. God Bless U n Frank Your always in my prayers. Mucho Love From Your Friend In Michigan Tam 💜💜
I remember that hot spring very well. It's cool to see those mountains with snow on them. I was there in August when I hiked the Hot Springs Trail!! I miss Nevada.
Migraines are no fun! Hopefully for you this too shall pass, like for me, I rarely have any migraines after I menopaused ( is that even a word?) you’re doing you very well from my vantage point
Excedrin Migraine works great. I take only one wait about 10 minutes to make sure it stays down then take 2nd if needed. Usually a sign you consumed something you're body produces histamines because of allergy to it.
Your such a sweetie, you see spectacular views, Frank with his blue Teddy was cute, I’m glad that you didn’t pick up that guy, keep yourself safe Amanda, thank you to you and Frank, xxxx💕💕❤️❤️
I did a double take when you mentioned Hwy 50 as we drove that regularly when we lived in the US - but on the opposite side of the country, in Maryland 🙂 It was actually one of our favourite drives, heading out to the ocean at Assateague. The only time we've ever picked up hitchhikers was a pair of PCT thru-hikers who'd just finished in Manning Park in 2018 (same year as you). Turned out they'd been hiking with the niece of someone we knew and were going to meet up with them - talk about a weird coincidence! There's so much cool scenery out there - those little muddy slot canyons are unique. And great to see Frank enjoying himself out there too! He's so trusting of you picking him - neither of the family dogs we had were happy at being picked up. (Sorry that's kind of a bunch of disconnected comments!) Looking forward to part 2!
It was so great to see Frank going out and about and enjoying himself in the snow!! I'm looking forward to poking around Nevada more this fall. I just went full-time this year and I lived in the Sierra Foothills between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe, my daughter lives in L.A., and my twin boys are up in Salem now....I've been just like commuting on I-5 mostly so far, and it's great for them, but I'm looking forward to the journey being the destination at last!! Still love your channel! Thanks for sharing! Dunno if you were ever a Doors fan, but Jim Morrison wrote Riders On The Storm, and your story of the hitchhiker reminded me of that song....I'm glad you passed. I think I prolly woulda passed too, tbh....😁

I get migraines from eating nightshades....same as my daughters
@tidelinetoalpine what was the name of that campground. That looked super cool.
❤
I also get migraines and apart from the intense pain, the nausea is the worst. Funnily enough I always feel better if I'm not just nauseous, but actually throw up. I however take migraine medication which also helps.

I will say it again. Frank is such a handsome and stately fellow. ✌️
Frank blends in perfectly with those tan and white slot canyons! Glad he could enjoy a small adventure with you. Hope you’re feeling better now.
I have better day and worse days but that’s just life. Finding enjoyment nonetheless
It's the JOURNEY not the Destination!!!! Sooo good!
Yup! Sometimes you gotta get somewhere quick but otherwise I just want to relax and enjoy the drive.
You got that right Flossy!
I love that park... gotta put it on my bucket list.
I hope you can get some medicine for the headaches, I have some that disolves under my tongue that addresses the nausea and migraines effects like magic.
Frank eating the snow was sooo cute, then the shot of him sitting reminded me of a “grumpy” old man sitting on the porch rocking away content.
Haha that’s totally him! As I wrote this he’s snoozing on a porch 😊

Frank is an excellent companion! What a good boy! ❤️🐶

Thank you.☮💜🐾🐾🐾🐾👏👏👏👏🐾🐾🐾👏👏👏🐾🐾🐾
Frank matching with the slot canyon is so picturesque ❤
Every minute now is precious with Frank. The challenge is to slow down and savor it

Frank is so sweet. He really loves his lazy mornings, cuddled up under the blankets. ❤😊
Good job, safety first. Always follow your instincts they are there to protect you. Frank is a very handsome boy.

Excellent decision re: the hitchhiker. Safety first!
Oh man; ppl suck sometimes trashing things like they don’t know better So Disgusting & Disrespectful

Frank has a special angel :)

May you continue to know your truth and share your truth. Thank you for your vulnerability and honesty 🫶🏻🙏🏻
Thanks for another beautiful episode. The slot canyon sequence was so dangerous looking!
You might consider a stroller/wagon for Frank. I did that for my fur baby, she loved it.
I love the bond between you and Frank. Watching you too makes me so happy.
I was there last year in May to memorialize my friend who loved this hot spring. Beautiful view of the mountains. It is sad that many people aren't respectful to these natural areas. Sorry you hit a drop off. Hope you and Frank are ok.
Frank is such a good boy .He looks adorable waiting with toy in mouth for you to pick him up.❤
I just adore Frank. ❤
These adventures are novel worthy 📚✏️
The slot canyons were pretty awesome!
Good call. Unfortunately, it's not safe to pick people up anymore. Stay aware and keep yourself and Frank safe.
Magnificent mud hills you were walking in between! Definitely a place I'd like to check out. Frank just loving his time outside with you is always a joy! I guess their called " slot canyon"? Wonderful lake too.
Thank you Lord for Amanda and Frank 🙏🙏 You both brighten my day-hope your feeling better. ❌⭕❌⭕💋
Thank you so much for sharing this video, your journey and Frank with us! I always enjoy your videos! ❤
We love Frank and his blue bear! Greetings Amanda ❤
Amanda, so beautiful! I loved the canyon videos and your trip to Nevada. It looks as if Frank was having some fun too.
I love the drone shot of you sitting on the rock. Super!
Oh. And Frank on his little adventure. My heart ❤ 💓 ♥
May God protect you and Frank. blessings to you 🙏
Such a cool journey! Love seeing you and Frank enjoying life. Smart lady on the hitchhiker. 👍 be safe out there

You're right....a little weird, but very enjoyable to watch.
Frank looks very happy out there! All the best!

I'm getting a kick out of your hot springs experience, trash all about, bear spray ordeal.
Yikes! My claustrophobia did not do well watching this! Lol. Thank you for taking us along with you ❤😊
The hot springs first thing in the morning....good call!!
I have passed that way several times following the weather. I loved your perspective on it. To me, Nevada has a distinctive vibe about it. ❤
You are such a good dog mama too❤
Thank you, also, for your positive comments about hunters, its true.
Regarding your comment about not lingering or straying on your journey because of your destination, I think just soaking in the views as you drive can be breathtaking and imprint memories you'll always have. Blooming Joshua trees! I saw a huge example of this at a a rest stop west of Tonopah. I need to get back to southern Nevada. Heaven.
Look at you go Frank. Lovely place and bet Frank thoroughly enjoyed himself
Thank you for differentiating between hunters and shooters. Perfectly said!
I’m guessing you’re going to Alaska! 😊
Love the creativity of the first 15 seconds! Love the entire video, too, of course.
Here I am! 🪲. Great to see you. What a Mighty God we Serve. The beauty is amazing! ❤
As always, enjoyed watching your adventure! Thank you Amanda!
Yes a little weird but very beautiful also. Great photography, again!
I agree, hiway 50 is not lonely. I drove it a couple years ago.
The pole is called a meat pole. You are correct, you hang the animal from it. Mostly to age it before you butcher it.
Trippy drippy 😊
Thanks for the tour!!
Try 1 tablespoon of Apple cider vinegar in 8 oz of water before you eat daily. It worked wonders for my heartburn...

I remember that hot spring very well. It's cool to see those mountains with snow on them. I was there in August when I hiked the Hot Springs Trail!! I miss Nevada.
Ooh, those slot canyons! Scary... Thank you for your videos ☺️
Take care!!.
Aww Frank. Glad to see he's still trucking on. How creepy to see a person out in nowhere land. Be safe and happy travels
Very interesting days of events. Happy travels on your way back to Canada.
I love weird, but not weird hitchhikers… great video.
Good video. Frank loves snow. Those slot canyons were so strange, could you get lost in there wonder?
That pole is a Game Pole
WOW that was some cool photography in the slot cannons.
Migraines are no fun! Hopefully for you this too shall pass, like for me, I rarely have any migraines after I menopaused ( is that even a word?) you’re doing you very well from my vantage point
I love Frank🥰 Seeing his wagging tail makes my heart smile🥹🐾❣️
How do you not get lost when hiking when you can't see anything but rock and it all looks the same? Omg, beautiful, but scary! You are so brave!
Beautiful scenery.Loved watching Frank in the snow. So glad you made it safely. Hate that people are trashing our country.
Frank is the best😃
Have you considered getting a van step for Frank? Easy to install and not too expensive. Or maybe a ramp. 🌿
Good to see you and Frank having fun.
Always trust your gut! I would have drove down the road tiny bit. Tossed some water out the window and adios amigo!!❤
Excedrin Migraine works great. I take only one wait about 10 minutes to make sure it stays down then take 2nd if needed. Usually a sign you consumed something you're body produces histamines because of allergy to it.
Gorgeous scenery
What a cool place! The rock formations are so interesting! They remind me of caves!
That hotspring is just a party place with very heavy use. There is another tub north of the one you were at.
Very interesting experience! And loved your drumming at the end!

Very interesting 👌
Thank you for sharing your journey 💞
Made me so happy to see Frank being frisky in the canyon! Safe travels!!!💚💜
“Caves are a good place to get rid of a body” 😂 funny the way You said it. But totally creepy. 😮
Frank is so full of personality, so cute with his toy, waiting to get out in the sun 😊. I spend most of my time with my animals, the best company ❤
Thanks!
Thank you Jon 🙏🏼
Peace
