Yknow... I flipped flopped which to pick for the cyclone when planning this. if you look at my cyclone clips, most of them are FMJ, so I think deep down, I agree with you.
I was going to make a similar comment. For my money, base ammo maximizes the cyclone's spray and pray ability. In addition, the latest update came with some buffs for it, which make it a little more forgiving.
Personally I think the deadeye variant is the best. The vetterli is accurate enough in hipfire for super close range, and anything past 15m the deadeye *excels* at. If you’re really worried about close encounters, bring a melee or reliable fast firing secondary. Additionally, the low zoom allows you to function well in weather conditions that other scopes would be a disadvantage in, such as ash or heavy rain. It’s just so flexible and versatile, with not many disadvantages
I personally hate all the scopes in the game so I run all my rifles with iron sights. that's down to preference but I feel like they restrict your field.of view too much and make flick shots much harder.
@@Air420base vetterli is cheaper and is the best compromise for me. I agree on the cyclone though, too expensive and you lose the great handling that makes the vetterli great imo
While I personally grew to love the centennial more. The Vetterli is definitely an amazing family of guns, and there is basically one to fit every play style. Personally I love using the Silencer variant, mostly because of the better sights. The goal post sights take me time to get used to if I haven't ran the gun in awhile.
Always remember: The bigger the ammo type, the more fun Incendiary is. So Mosin Fire is the most fun because you're burning up 50m? thats nuts. Believe me, especially if you're like me and always hit shoulder instead of heads, try incendiary.. people stop thinking once they start burning.
I really enjoy the Vetterli, it’s fun to play, has a good ammo count, great iron sights and I generally take it with flame rounds for putting pressure on. It’s cost effective for when you have wasted a lot of hunt dollors.
It would be funnier, if you would wear the two things, what your avatar is wearing! A neat leather cowboy hat and a red Bandana. Looking forward to your content and dedication for this game!

Wow, I disagree with almost every single thing you said. Which is so cool! (i love the bayonet, the deadeye scope, high velocity ammo, incendiary, etc) (but who am I kidding, I'm off to play with centennial shorty silence dumdum instead)
Yup. Play preference and style have a lot to do with it. I've not much cared for 'meta' or 'best'. Enjoying the playstyle is what matters the most for me. The variety in hunt is such a joy.
after watching your silencer fmj veterli video, I played for about 20 games and got at least 4-5Ks each game, I gotta say this gun is kinda cracked. I dislike the default ADS but the silencer one is much nicer.
The Vetterli is also one of my favorite guns and my go-to in a pinch. Although, I personally feel very differently about the scopes. I love the deadeye! I think it gives the most precise aiming crosshairs and allows for thsoe slightly farther away kills I would normally struggle with without a scope. However, I feel about the marksman scope, the way you feel about the deadeye. I just struggle to aim and get hits with it and if I am going to snipe, I would frankly just prefer a true sniper rifle than a gun not built for such things. We are on the same page about pretty much everything else though. GREAT VIDEO!
Another good thing (at least to me) is the sights of the silenced version... You can hit things! Sparks or Winfield silenced are terrible to hit with those iron sights and i also think that Vetterli is more silenced lol (im correct?) Aside the bullet velocity being OBSCENELY SLOW, the weapon itself is the best ''overall stealth'' option in the game in my opinion. Not counting bows because they arent that good after some range.
Funnily enough, the deadeye is my favourite variant of the vetterli. I find that the scope extends my range viability enough, and makes getting headshots super easy, while suiting the Vetterli's medium range damage and velocity. Although the marksman scope is also good if I wanna fight at even longer ranges.
11:00 I mean whenever I’ve run the veterli silencer I take hv ammo to try and offset the velocity nerf the silencer gives. When you take hv ammo on the silencer you end up with around 380 m/s and the regular ammo has 410 m/s iirc. For me at least this helps because it’s close enough that you can kind of lead the same amount as you do with the regular veterli. Also then I take the pax trueshot with hv to stack the ammo pools and that goes up to nearly 600m/s. So for shots at 75m+, and when the enemies know where you are anyway you can shoot with that instead and have an easier time landing your headshots. I will try fmj next time, maybe now I can manage the low velocity, but ive always struggled a lot in hunt with low velocity weapons to where it just feels like my bullets are disappearing and I can’t hit my shots. Not having tracers in the game really doesn’t help with learning velocities so for most of my play time on my primaries I try to have at least around 400m/s velocity which felt pretty intuitive coming from other non hit scan games.
I want to enjoy the veterlli but I just cannot get used to the sights on the base model, I'm constantly aiming too low. That's why I prefer the deadeye for mid range and rely more heavily on a sidearm for close combat. That's all preference though
Great video! I was hoping with the Cyclone buffs it would be worth the price tag. Hopefully they do adjust the damage above 124 to be on par with the other variants.
The Cyclone is already my favorite gun in the game before the buffs but now it feels very powerful imo as the lower recoil effectively increases the fire rate for me even more. If they buff it again I wouldn't complain but I don't think it's necessary
Deadeye sights are great on many guns. My guess is if it's not comfortable for you, then you haven't used it enough or you haven't found the right sensitivity to use for it. I use different sensitivities on each different scope type. It's all personal preference and depends on your other settings too. It's important to find the sweet spot that works for you. You should be able to point blank fire and snipe with Deadeyes with ease when you found it.

@@HuntShowdownLab okay, thank you for answering :)
Vetterli enjoyers unite
Hate the sights on the base.
The vetterly just feels too off, like the bullet velocity feels bad.
Vetterli is simply Not for me since the centennial offers me more loadout variations
The best vetterli is my teammate's vetterli because I can't shoot that gun for shit :D
Winfield incendiary ammo, pax claw dum dum all the time every time
As Homereel says. "Vetterli, vetterli, it makes the girls wett...erli.
invest some time to scoops. you will change your mind. it is actually easier to fight with scope. you gotta have traits otherwise it is sh.t tho
I do like marksman scopes, it's the dead eye ones I just can't get feeling good about. I swore them off hundreds of hours ago, but perhaps I'd feel different about them if I gave them a cincere chance again.
@@HuntShowdownLab everyone got their style
More like the Betterli, amirite?
100%
IS THAT A MUTTDORKING FACE REVEAL?
The betterli.
The iron sights of base vetterli is straight up trash.
This guy is cheater or every highlight that he post was paid actors or either 2 stars lobby 😂
So staged as hell lol
I play in 3-4 star lobbies. If you want high skill plays, there are plenty of great channels out there. My focus is on providing resources to better understand and enjoy the game.
You have Beautiful eyes bro ( I am not gay )
are u ping abuser? it looks for this with ur extreme delays
No. I get matched in NA East and West. I think on west, i'm about 50-60. I did notice there were a couple clips where the delay were particularily high.
@@HuntShowdownLab no Problem :) but 50 to 60 is really high... 😅
@@m1cs0wdamn i get 40 on east and 60 on west
First
well only betas and losers take the Cenny.. THe Vetterli is for normal, based and skilled players. The Deadeye is my most used actually for some reason the scopes are
there is no way this guy isn't a 3 star, he thinks he knows his shit but many things are just basic knowledge about the game and his gameplay is shit
All you need to know is that you just don't play it... it literally is just bad... end of Story
Why do you mispronounce roof everytime lmao
I have several words my brain just can't hear right for some reason. I mess up wolf everytime too, but it sounds right in my head.
