I was just saying its nice that they gave the "heart and soul of the company" title to supes instead of bats, cus it seems like DC always puts bats at the front of everything and as much of a batman fan as I am, it's starting to get a little overwhelming. About when the batman who laughs and the Harley Quinn movies/media, they've been really over hyping bats and burning me out on him.

This story is one of my favorites in comics and made Dr Manhattan one of my favorite superheroes, in the end Dr Manhattan couldn't defeat superman no matter what but he himself like us all was inspired by superman!!
It's not sad. Its inspirational. A godlike alien, who has never truly been human but wishes to be, convinced dr. Manhattan, a godlike human who has grown more and more alienated, that heroes and actions matter.

He can move through universes but only the ones that exist through space and time he’s one of the most powerful in the universe but only that were most entities aren’t bound to universe, his curse is never being able to change what the outcome of time will be even if he can alter the time of the past

@@Jaycethebold in my opinion there’s no good outcome not since the golden age people weren’t complaining about Barry Allen being The Flash out of left field and introducing the silver age and characters we haven’t seen and 4 new versions of golden age characters people complain when established characters take on legacies like id expect the other way around “there is no Barry, jay is the only flash” and “Jon Kent is a great Superman because he was introduced as his son and it gives Conner some independence” but it doesn’t go that way

No thats the child isn’t Clark Kent he just named him Clack gifted him his powers and left him with good people that where his former teammates now married parents of the blond girl Sally formerly known as Silk Specter and Night Owl to rase him in the Watchmen universe in the hopes of giving it well hope by granting it its very own Superman to inspire better and save it from it self. I believe the kids parents were 2 villains introduced in the story from the watchman universe Mime and Marionette.

This is nice Watchmen/DC fan fiction. Plenty of fan service and food for the heart, but no nuance. Watchmen was a piece of critical literature diametrically opposed to commercialism. In restoring our hope in superheroes, Doomsday Clock achieves a good Superman story by betraying Watchmen. If you want to write something like this, there are infinite other characters you can use in DC. Don't insult Watchmen by folding its characters into the extended universe. It's a cash cow move that some Veidt Industries executive might have thought up.

That story sucked so much! They built up Dr. Manhattan to ridiculous levels and in the end Superman was just like "Come onnn... be a good guy" and that was the end. The final fight was Superman fighting some random assortment of villains that had no connection to the story. This might go down as one of the most underwhelming comic book series of all time.

The guy didn't explain the child. Dr. Manhattan left allof his power into the child "Clark" in the watchmen universe. Superman inspired Dr. Manhattan to change and not destroy Metaverse. Manhattan pretty much just erased himself from existence.
