Nothing worse then having a black color in any camo pattern. If you take any camo pattern that has black in it and add some other color to it, they all look absolutely much more efficient. Black rifle it self looks amazing. If you're doing camo, replacing baclk in any camo pattern with a d dark brown or dark green will give you much better results.
Great video - project came out well. After considering cerakote, just same upon Aluma Hyde and think I'll go this direction. Also like the woodland camo look - I'll probably do this to my Howa/MDT bolt gun and AR. Thanks for sharing
Doesn't the instructions say if you don't add coats within 30 minutes that it has to fully cure for at least 10 days? That's one thing that has deterred me from doing this
Bro that black is insanely shiney
I think I'd of used matte black, vice glossy. Nice job.
Nice man..would've went flat black personally
Solid work! Fixing to do my second Aluma hyde II project and plan on using stencils for a camo pattern this time.

Good luck! Thanks for watching!
Did you to any other prep aside from cleaning? How is it holding up? Debating prep techniques for mine.
You spray painted perfectly good plywood? In 2020?! Lol you must not be a poor. Great video 👍
Plywood was still cheap at the time. Not anymore. Thanks for watching!
Bruh alumahyde tips work as wells as an 80 year olds man’s
Weird that the black came out so shiny, did you clear coat this?
Semi-gloss black. It's gonna appear glossy compared to the flat colors.

That is correct. Or otherwise 195 Deg. F for 3 1/2 hrs. before additional coats.
Yeah I've been binge watching Aluma Hyde videos today and quite a few do it wrong.
Now with that said, I've never used the Aluma Hyde. I've rattlecanned a boatload of guns but I stick to Aervoe, Rustoleum, and Krylon.
