I love your store and all the helpful videos! I tend to binge on them... :D. I would like to pencil pleat some semi-sheer, 3" rod pocket panels I already have. Should I sew the pleaters tape on the outside of the back, of the already existing pockets, or insert the pleaters tape through the rod pockets, sandwiching the pleaters tape between the two thicknesses of fabric and simply fold over the ends to the back? Not sure which way would look more finished, and, I certainly don't want the dotted lines of the pleaters tape to show through. Any help would be very much appreciated!
I am having a tough time visualizing this, but I think that the answer is going to be dependent on the material your curtains. I would guess that, since they are sheer, that the tape would look best on the back side of the rod pocket, but try both out and see how they look! Use pins or clips to hold it in place and check it out before you go to sew.
Hi my dear sis.I really love ur videos with clear explanation I would like to know how the swag curtain is made and how the gathering curtain is made without using tape It will b highly appreciated for ur response thank u

Hell there! It is black stitching. If you get your tape and see that you will be able to see through the fabric, I recommend making the heading of your curtain a little bigger so it is a double layer of fabric and then you wont be able to see through. I think for most fabrics you won't have to worry about it though.
Great content! I enjoy the projects. I like seeing young sewists too! BUT, the delivery makes it a challenge to keep watching. There has got to be a way to help them. Reading a script is fine, but they sound like they are being held hostage, like they're about to burst into tears. Maybe a theater teacher, a voice coach, or a local tv personality, another youtuber, someone with knowledge of performance, maybe to offer some advice. You've got a great thing going here. It just needs some tweaking.

Love this. Can i ask what sewing machine needle size do I need to handle a block curtain fabric ?
One of the heavier needles in your all purpose pack should be totally fine.
Do you have any tips for twisting and puckering that occurs when sewing the heads tape top and bottom please.?
Just take your time! Make sure that the tension on your machine is set properly, and use more pins than you think that you need!
How wide was the original fabric? I noticed you pinched it to about a 20" panel. THANK YOU. Great sewing techniques!
The original fabric was 54" wide, so the fullness is 2.7 times the desired finished width.
Why does the tape have blue lines on it? Will the colour show through the front on lined white curtains?
Hell there! It is black stitching. thanks I love your tutorial but some things are not clear on curtains
We'd be happy to answer any questions you have or clarify certain parts.
Hi im from Philippines and im also work the same at you.
The videos are always helpful but the people sound so much like they are reading a cue card. No emotion or facial expressions.
Who cares!!. I just want to make curtains.
Besides which. They were clearly smiling.
