3 ripe bananas, mashed with a fork
½ cup butter (1 stick) at room temperature
3/4 cup white sugar (or use 1 scant cup of honey)
2 eggs, room temperature
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
½ tsp real vanilla extract
1 cup walnuts, toasted and coarsely chopped
½ cup raisins

There are so many ways to do the banana bread but after I’ve tried so many of them I found this one the best!!👌💕The only addition are some walnuts on the top and the sugar powder but honestly makes the best way to have your coffee in the morning 🥰🥰

Loved it, before I had always opted out for healthier options without butter. But this one is delicious! I replaced 1/2 cup of flour with whole wheat one, added cinamon, put dash of maple syrup ( replaced some of the amt of sugar) and sprinkled top with some oats to make it pretty :)
It was gone within an hour! Even my husband who is not big fan of banana bread ate 3 hearty slices of it.
Oh my gosh, it smelled so good that my next-door neighbor/friend came knocking on my door to ask what smelled so good. Of course, I invited her in for a piece of banana bread and a cup of coffee. This is the best banana bread recipe I have ever baked! Just be expecting your neighbors to inquire as to what's cooking! lol

I only used 1/4 cup of sugar and it was great,experiment with it to your likeness
@@enydnightshade you can always adjust the sugar. I never use as much sugar as a recipe calls. In this instance, I only use half a cup of sugar, if that!
Oh my god! I finally made this banana bread and it turned out to look exactly the same and it tastes absolutely delicious. The crumb is so soft and the sweetness is just right. Its such an easy and balanced recipe. Totally loved it. Thank you for this wonderful recipe. I can't wait to try other ones by you.

Yes I do!!!! I made some this week I use really brown bananas . If u add brown sugar on top it makes a yumy crisp crust. I didn't read ur recipe but it's a great tip! And if u want to be naughty I like doing nuts and chocolate chips!

This is the most beautiful banana bread recipe and definitely baking this back to back. I also love the fact that you can swap bananas with anything for this recipe. I once used pumpkin and the texture is just as moist and sweet.

I've recooked this recipe, so moist and taste perfect. I changed nuts & raisins to ½ cup of choco chip then sprinkle it on the top. My banana was too riped so I add more flour, I didn't add more sugar because I don't really love sweet.

I just made this! It was absolutely delicious! The smell and then the exquisite taste....I knocked sugar down to 1/2 cup because the bananas were really ripe. I didn't have raisins but used Craisens. Thank you so much for this incredible recipe....😊

I made this today and my dad loved it, I didn’t put any raisins just plain non roasted walnuts crushed by my hand and topped it with more walnuts before baking it. This is seriously amazing, I had just as much fun making it as you did. Thank you for this amazing recipe.

Best, Best no fault recipe. I used three different types of flour half cup each with a bit of tapioca 2 tbs. The 3 flours I used was Walnut, Oats and Spelt. I also used half the butter and Apple sauce for the other half and this bread was still soooooooo moist. Walnut can be drying so really great without adding any other moisture.
Tried this and it turned out really good! Thanks 🤗 Just one question though, should we coat the walnuts with some flour before adding to the batter (to prevent from sinking to the bottom)?

It's a bit crispy on the top of it if you eat it whilst it's still hot and very moist inside. Made this twice and friends and family liked it very much.
I didn't put in the raisins and nuts but it still tastes good. Maybe I should try incorporating some next time :)
