You mentioned to use 5 large eggs but you only used 4 in the video. It also shows you counted 4. Then you whisked the batter. So do we use 4 or 5 eggs?
Thank you for this wonderfully delicious banana bread! I made it 2 weeks ago; it was very moist. I'm making it again today but I'm adding walnut which I love in baked goods.👍👍👍
@@Wondorawoman She used 5 eggs.
Wondorawoman there is 5 eggs, if you look at the top of the bowl one of the eggs just had a popped yolk
I live in the UK and have access to self raising flour only 😂, do I still use or can I use less baking soda. Hence I teaspoon instead of 2.
I just made this and it turned out SO INCREDIBLY moist and delicious. I swear, every other recipe says it’s moist and they end up dry and bland. This was exactly what I was looking for.
I agree 100% comes out perfect every time 👍
Me too
Thanks for confirming about this recipe. I tried another recipe and it ended up dry.
True. I tried Natasha’s Kitchen recipe and she’s a big UA-camr. It’s was good but overall nothing special
This is one of the best presentations. All the process of preparing the banana cake and cooking explained simply but thoroughly, no useless speeches, and in a modest soothing voice, no exaggeration. Two thumbs up from me.
Aww thank you!
@@muhlissuh__ You are welcome.
Yes, my thoughts exactly.
Is it supposed to be this flat on the top? Mine always bulge up at the top
@@muhlissuh__ Great video but frustrating to not have ingredients and to have to rely on the comment section.
This is the best banana bread I have ever made and tasted. It’s my dad’s favorite, and I’m making it for him again tonight. I’ve tried other recipes, but I always come back to this one. Excellent!
Absolutely loved it! As someone who has never baked banana bread before, it came out basically perfect!! I only wanted to make one loaf so I halved the ingredients and only used all purpose flour and all vanilla extract for the multiple kinds of ingredients. I used around a 3/4 cup of brown sugar to 1/4 white sugar ratio. My bananas were pretty ripe and I used 2 and a half, while I used 2 whole eggs. Super great recipe, the only thing I'd recommend is to use a tiny bit less butter since it was pretty oily!
Definitely recommend it to those who want to try but are hesitant.
@@harmonymillett2970 Good luck, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
Did you bake for same amount of time?
@@juliaboyle639 yep! if you really want to, you can set it a minute or two shorter for some less browning
Can't wait to make it! Sharing the recipe below, as I had to write it down:
Pre-heat oven 350°F.
In large bowl, combine:
4-5 bananas (mashed)
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter
5 eggs
Add:*
1 tablespoon almond extract
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 C almond meal (almond flour)
1 C all-purpose flour
2 teaspoon baking soda
Mix well; chunky is good!
Pour into 2 buttered loaf pans. Bake 1 hour
.
Thank you!You made it a lot easier for us.😊
I did it! It was really GOOD!👌
Ugh bless ur soul
🐐
Thank you!!! I really wish all the UA-camrs would add the written recipe on the bottom on the video. It makes it so much easier when you want to get all ingredients prepped.

So so good. I gave my sister-in-law the recipe, she made it for her coworkers. They liked it so much. The next week she made five batches for sale took it to work and she sold out.
This is literally the BEST banana bread recipe ever! Hands down!

You said to cook for 1 hour
Alia Zahr oh thanks I’ll change that! 👍
THANKS A LOT!
Is it okay if im not using almond flour ?
Mya Azmi I tried using no almond flour and it wasn’t quite as moist however it still tasted delicious :)
This has become my go to recipe. I don't use the same amount of sugar but everything else is the same. I've tried substituting the almond flour with coconut flour once and it worked great. Nothing beats this recipe.
Made this banana bread! It turned out the way she described it! I didn’t change a single thing, followed the recipe to a tee and it’s so good and moist and not overly sweet - it’s a keeper!!
I made this! OMG, I ate more banana bread in a few days than I have eaten in decades! This is the only banana bread I will ever make. Thank you so much! When she says perfect she's not exagerating.
😄 so glad you love it!
Girl I just want to say I have never made banana bread ever until last night. I watched MANY videos and decided to go with your version. Let me just say this is best banana bread I have ever had in my LIFE! I still can't believe how moist this is! Even MORE so after it sat covered overnight. So glad I decided to give this a try. Everyone is so impressed
Yay!
I think the secret its on the amount of eggs she uses.
I made this 2 days ago following every step and ingredient, except for the almond extract, and it came out amazing! Made 2 loafs. Now I don't have to wait on my wife to make it. If I changed anything it would be the amount of sugar. I would do 3/4 white sugar and 3/4 brown sugar. Came out super moist and didn't sit on the counter very long. Thanks!
You had me at, "Didn't sit on the counter long." 😆
Yeah you are right about sugar.

I've been making banana bread using so many recipes on UA-cam, but nothing can compare to this one. Not only the it turns out so so good that my family finishes the loaf in ko time, the simple cooking method is what I appreciate the most. Absolutely love your recipe.
I halved it. I used plain flour and vanilla, instead of almond extract/flour, with 2 eggs, and beat it a little more so its more fluffy. I also added a tsp of ginger powder, cinnamon powder and walnuts. I baked in one loaf tin and made muffins too! Works a treat! I baked for 1 hour and it was perfect
I tried this recipe today and I turned out perfect, my kids loved it so much.. .. added some crushed walnuts..Thanks for the super easy and really delicious recipe..
Hi, did you put it in the batter or sprinkle on top once the batter was in the pan?
Cam4Jess I added it in the batter as a last step before pouring the batter in the pan.. 😊
Since trying this recipe for the first time 3 months ago, I feel like a profesional Baker. Thank you! Making it again today!
Well I just made this banana bread tonight and boy was it moist and delicious!😋 I have an electric stove so I baked at 325 for one hour. I toasted chopped walnuts and added them to my mix, and used Splenda Brown Sugar Blend. This is my ‘Go To’ recipe!🙌🏽 Thank you for a great recipe!
This is my third time making this recipe with all purpose flour. This time I used half oatmeal flour (homemade) and half all purpose flour. It still came out delicious but with half the guilt! Thank you, Melissa!!
Didn’t have almond flour so made it with 2 cups of all purpose flour and it was still amazing! Perfectly moist on the inside and crispy along the edges! Thank you!
Mb08 B did it rise much higher compared to this which had almond flour? 😊
Oh good because my son is allergic to nuts buy loves bananas, so I want make him this bread with some overripe bananas we have. My husband and I don't eat bananas at all..lol
Thanks for sharing. Chanced on the recipe today. I have almost all other ingredients and all purpose flour. On my way to bake now :)
Ohhhhh I was wondering as I don’t have almond flour! Thankyou

3, right?
Ruby Emerald I’ll try it! Thank you! 😊
I bake a lot of different breads and am always trying new recipes. This "Perfectly moist Banana Bread" recipe is the best that I have ever made! First, I love that it makes 2 loaves because that is the only kind of recipe use. I usually keep one and give the other to a friend or neighbor. Secondly, just like you, I always use both white and brown sugar. The use of both Almond and Vanilla extract gave the bread a distinct and unexpected flavor. Last, but not least, you give an excellent simple and exact presentation. Thanks to you, this will be my "go to" Banana Bread recipe from now on!
So glad you love it and share your second loaf. Thank you for your lovely comment 😊
@@muhlissuh__ hey I have a question, cut I cut the measurements you used in half, like two bananas and half of a cup, because I don’t wanna make that much
@@erikacalle7853 guess you can
And you do all the mixing in one bowl so less dishes to clean.
This is by far the best and easiest recipe to follow. There is nothing to fancy, just simple ingredients. I didn't have baking soda and it still tasted great!
I am an inexperienced baker and would like to say that recipe has boosted my confidence. This is no ordinary banana bread it s a gourmet fine dining banana cake and everyone who ate it just loved it. I used a round baking pan and I added some walnuts and it turned out beautiful!!
Omg I tried your recipe and EVERYBODY loved it at work. I work at a hospital and during this time it’s always nice to be able to see my coworkers happy. This did the trick ! Thank you !

Just bought my danish dough whisk and christened it with this recipe. It’s in the oven right now and it smells divine and the best part is my kids aren’t really a fan of almond extract so that means more for me!
I like the way she explained it, I am going to try.
Tried three different recipes on UA-cam and they were all missing something but this one Is by far the best. Easiest method, ingredients were totally worth the extra dollars thank you for sharing.
I love this recipe so much! You make it so simple and you go straight to the point. Thank you!
A video that showed you to make delicious banana bread in under 5 minutes! Thank you for being concise and straight to the point. I can't stand those draggy baking videos with a parrot fronting the kitchen counter. I actually made this and I love it so much.
I subscribed to your channel.
I fell in love with this recipe of yours. It was so delicious and a whole lot tastier than the ones you can buy at the store.
I just made this recipe, it was pretty good; however I added one extra banana, also I added 1 cup of sugar, as opposed to 2 cups. It was still pretty sweet. I used extra ripe bananas, with black spots on them. The banana bread was pretty moist, to be very honest. I didn’t use almond flour, just plain flour.
First time baking in general and this recipe was so simple and easy to follow. I made this 2 days ago. My financè absolutely loved it! Reminded him of his late aunts banana bread. Brought it to work for friends to try and the first thing they said was BOMB lol! Thank you thank you for making me feel like I enjoy being in the kitchen! Banana bread is my absolutely favourite! No need to ask someone to make it or getting store bought (never any good) . All I can say is those 2 loafs were so moist and delicious and were finished in a day 😁
Ps. Didn't have almond flour or almond extract so I just used regular flour and vanilla extract. Baked at 350 for 45 mins and I came out perfect!
Aww im so glad everyone loved it and that you had fun in the kitchen!
This is the very first banana bread recipe I’ve ever tried to make and I will never need another one!! This one is literally the best, my husband always brings a bunch of it to work and all his coworkers devour it. It’s the best I’ve ever had
Used this recipe twice. It turned out perfect and well liked by everyone who tried it. Thank you for sharing!!
Do i have to put the brown sugar?
I made this for my family awhile back and now whenever we have family gatherings I am not allowed to walk in the door without 4 loaves. I even made a couple with crushed pineapple and my family and friends can't get enough of it... Thank you so much for sharing ❤
I made it so many times that is super delicious! I switched the all purpose flour to wheat flour instead and added chopped almonds nuts for a great finish. WowThank😊❤️ you.
Oo
I tried a hand at this recepie & the results were breathtaking .Also, instead of the almond flour I used All purpose flour & it worked pretty well for me. The cake turned out so yummy, perfectly moist. Hands down the best cake I ever baked
Just made!!! Wow! The chewy crunchie texture on the outside and the soft, spongy inside! Amazing!
2022 - Love how this is so uncomplicated! instructions and are clear and also not filled with "chibber chabber" that can be so annoying and distracting. Well done and i can't wait to make this! Thankyou!
I always use this recipe when I make banana bread for my family and I, and everyone loves it! Thank you for this, it’s truly delicious!
I made it today and it turned out to be the MOST DELICIOUS banana bread I've had! Thank you for the recipe! 😍🥰
I used this recipe but just tweaked it a tad. It wasn’t too sweet, it was actually perfect. It was one of the best banana breads I’ve had
Love how fast and simple this recipe is, thank you! The banana bread turned out great!
I want to try this recipe now, but from the video it looks like the bread is pretty flat on the top. Why is that? Wondering if it’ll still be good. My banana breads always come out dome shaped...
@@lastochka100 If you're making dome shaped banana bread you're not making authentic banana bread. You're making something not nearly as tasty and moist as her recipe. I have never eaten so much banana bread in my life as I did after I found her recipe.
@@truthseeker243 Aight, I’ll take your word for it! Thanks for quick response!
@@lastochka100 You're welcome it truly is delicious.
Tried this recipe and it was amazing! Almond flour was game changer. Will definitely tell my children this recipe was passed down from generations of our family haha 😜 jk
This is the best banana bread! My husband loves it too. To adjust the sweetness for my taste, I used 1 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup honey. To add some crunch, I added crushed walnuts.
I love this rexipe so much! My whole family loved it, and I serve it every time theres a guest or some special occasion. Ima go make it again now😋
during quarantine i'm not able to go see my boyfriend as often so today i made these and sent this to him and his family, they all loved it!! thank you so so much for the recipe it was really easy and delicious❤️ will be subscribing!!

I made this many times now, like 4 times.
Wow! It’s worth it. Very easy to make. My kids loves it. We love this so much for our breakfast with milk and most of all snack time 😋🤩 super soft and moist!!!
Tried this recipe this morning. IT WAS AMAZING ❤️
I added cinnamon, nutmeg and raisins. Used regular all purpose flour sifted. I am not a baker so I am totally pleased. Soft, fluffy, moist. Finished in 35 mins.
Thank u for this
Making this recipe for the fifth time!!!!
Each time was perfect!!!
I tried them in a cast iron baking pan, and Holy Heaven!!!
DELICIOUS!!!!!
Sharing a loaf with my neighbor!! Passing the goodness on!!!
Thank you!!!!!
this is the best banana bread recipe, its so moist, i dont add almond extract and only use AP flour and its the best
One of the most easiest recipes to follow. Everything is in the store cupboard. No messing around with gadgets and complicating things. My cakes in the oven. Hopefully it’s gonna taste just yummy!
My family says it’s the BEST banana bread they have ever had, hands down!!!
This is literally the best banana bread I’ve ever had when I tell you it’s moist!!!!!! Thank you so much for this amazing recipe, fam loves it!!
i dont usually comment on youtube but i gotta say this recipe is AMAZING, i’ve tried 5 different recipes before and they felt so dry some of them were okay but this one is just 👌🏼 thank you so much for sharing this recipe. And by the way i dont have almond flour so I doubled the all purpose flour amount and its still soft and tastes lovely
I always come back to this recipe ❤ I made it probably 4-5 times now , family always loves it 😊 thank you!
I’ve made this like 5 times, it’s delicious and my husband’s favorite. Thank you!!!
You made these banana breads look like there are no rules at all and yet they came out to be perfect and looking delicious. Awesome!
I made this and everyone loves it. I make sure to make a whole loaf for myself. I’m bringing in this to work for all my fav coworkers.
I made this. My first ever attempt. It came out great. Thank you. I made it gluten free with Pamela’s bread mix, that is what I had. All I had was coconut sugar. But came out to be soft and moist.
I just made 2 of these, let me tell you, there's only half remaining....my husband, my inlaws they ate it all up🤷🏾♀️great recipe!!!
I recommend this recipe!! I made it for my parents and they said it was the best banana bread that they ever had!!
For the past two years I only make banana bread this way. Literally the best recipe out there!!❤❤
Was craving banana bread the other day, and recently have been getting into baking a bit. I thought about how great the bread my mom used to make was growing up. I figured banana bread wouldn’t be too hard to make, so I of course search on UA-cam for a recipe. I see this recipe, and I watch, and read over the ingredient list one more time and I immediately head to the supermarket. I get back and make this later that night, and it was THE BEST banana bread I’ve ever had in my life. This was a week and a half ago. Since then I’ve made 3 more loaves. I’m making one more loaf as I type this. Thanks so much for the great recipe!!
I tried this recipe at school. we bake it. My instructor give us high grade and a good comment😍 thank you so much for sharing your recipe. This is the best banana Cake 💖
I just made this recipe and let me tell you: this is the best banana bread ever. I can’t still believe it. Wow, soooooo good.
I’ve used this recipe about 3 times and am going to use it again! So delicious!
Made this and I loved it!! So good & so moist. Only tweak I made is I used half a cup of brown sugar & half a cup of regular sugar and didn’t use almond extract. Still came out amazing😍
This recipe calls for a lot of sugar, a little too sweet for me but it was lovely, I reduced both sugar by half and it was still 👍
Valentine i agree with u iwill cut the sugar in half when baking
Valentine Kwach I cut the sugar in half also
I thought the same thing, but it's because she made two loaves instead of one. Most of the ingredients were doubled.
yeah, 32 table spoons plus 4-5 bananas is too much sugar. Cut in half, tastes awsome. thanks
I should cut down the sugar into quarter, so 1/4 cup sugar, then what if I don’t use white sugar
It’s like “the best” banana bread I’ve ever made thank u soooo much for the recipe loved it❤️
I agree. Amazing!!!
I just made this recipe and I love it! I probably messed up the oven instructions because I baked it for half the time and it came out perfectly.
Amazing ! Everyone who has tasted my banana bread (with your recipe) absolutely loves it!!! Thank you 🙏🏼
I just made your recipe and OMG it’s the best banana bread I ever taste!
I baked it in a round pan for about an hour.
Don’t be scared if it looks too brown, it’s because of the brown sugar.
I love it.!! Super moist 👌
I made it two days ago and it was so good, my whole family loved it, now I have to make it again because my mum has been begging me for it. Thank you so much it’s great
I made it exactly like she said and it came out AMAZINGGGGGGG!!!! ☺️ thank you!
I’ve make this recipe a few times and my family love it, it’s so easy because you only need a large bowl and a hand mixer, thank you so much😀🙏
I tried your recipe and it was amazing! It was so moist and delicious. It was my first attempt at baking too and I added some peanut butter in my mix. I'm looking forward to baking again this week. Thanks for the detailed tutorial.
i’ve made about 6 loaves of this in the past couple months and it is literally the best banana bread ive ever had so thank u!! my mom and siblings love it too 💕
AMAZING and very easy recipe!!! I didn’t have almond flower or extract, so I used only vanilla extract and regular flower. I also added walnuts and baked for 45 mins instead of 60 mins. It turned out delicious and very moist! Highly recommended ☺️.
