When I say "I RAN TODAY" most of you would know how crazy that sounds. I have spent a lifetime overweight, out of shape, in fear of diabetes and heart attack and I RAN TODAY!!! And for no good reason, I was out walking and my body just said lets run! I haven't run in 30 years, it felt so damn good to smash that barrier!! I have lost 60 pounds on ketovore and am at my ideal weight for my height. 51 (M) 5'10 162. Exercise is easy and effortless now. I dont want to run, but I think sprints are healthy human activity and I plan to add them to my walks. I am just amazed that my body actually told me to run and I RAN!!! Thank you Dr Berry, it's been an amazing ride!!! I also bought my first pair of pants where the waist is smaller than the leg length. 30/32! I probably could wear 28/32 easy. I am reverse aging, I am feeling younger every day!!! Just completed a 5 day fast so...120 hours!!! Took a year and a half of thinking of that and then as Dr Berry says, I just stopped putting food in my mouth! LOL and it was amazing!!

Hi Dr Berry. It's NOT TOO LATE. I was 56 when diagnosed with Metabolic Syndrome. Before I discovered youtube I went keto based on some info elsewhere on the net. Your description of what happens applies to me perfectly. Within 4 months I reversed T2D and slashed triglycerides. It's been 16 months now and I've lost the 80lbs and my knees are slowly recovering. I can walk better and can stay standing to put my socks and pants on - this has massively helped my mental health. I'm almost 100% carnivore now and the constipation, bloating and gas have all gone. IT'S NEVER TOO LATE.

NEVER TOO OLD! I'm 65 and been low carb for 21 months. Arthritis, back issues and knee issues are improved. Remitted diabetes, lowered blood pressure, reduced from 80kgs to 62kgs without trying (almost 40lbs), waist was 44" now 37", better quality sleep. Biggest issue I have is finding nice trousers and winter tops. I've managed to get some nice second hand summer tops! And I am sure that my hair is not as grey as it was. My chin hairs are now very fine, which low carb doctor says is because I am no longer insulin resistant.

@@euhdink4501 That's great! I feel very sorry for people when I see them with a belly because I know that it is probably visceral fat and they have metabolic issues and on the way to diabetes (or already there). And that they are probably craving carbs all the time (been there, done that). It's sad because if you have a motivation to do it (for me it was being diagnosed with diabetes and being scared of going blind or kidney failure), going low carb is so easy and works so quickly and I'm no longer a slave to food. I am very thankful for the excellent information being provided on the internet and especially that it is being backed up by medical professionals from various fields of medicine.

For those having heart failure I can offer what has helped my sister. First of all I am a dietitian on carnivore(which has helped me with my high insulin levels) and apologize for all the other dietitians out there who do not know what they are talking about, I was one of them, in recovery now :) 1. take CoQ10 at 400mg a day( I found a study through JAMA with this evidence, lesser mg do not have same effect), 2. keep eating a very low carb or carnivore diet, this will help produce ketones which will heal the heart and remodel the heart. 3. I referred my sister to my naturopath who does Ozone therapy through an IV, since her last three treatments she just got an Echo that showed her EF is now 43%, up from 15% in march. It may be hard finding someone to do Ozone therapy but usually done through naturopath. My sisters cardiologist said diet would not help yet she has improved in just a few short months. I sat in the office with her and told the cardiologist of the studies i found on ketones and CoQ10 but she just said do whatever you want, but was really trying to prescribe Jardiance which has some very terrible side effects including necrotizing fasciitis(flesh eating bacteria)

In fact I use it for its calories at times. I eat a lot of organic pasture raised eggs, bacon, 4-5 tins of sardines/week, beef, . max fast maybe 20 hrs. never went longer. no need. my wait is the same now at 63 as it was in senior yr in HS. I DO HIIT 2-3 X/WK, WEIGHT LIFTING. Never got the clot shot, never got covid, never got sick in the last 7 years, a cold prior to that.

So far lost 85 lbs in 9 months, first keto, then BBBE, now Ketovore but no veggies. A1C went from 6.7 to 5.4 (reversed type 2), reversed hypertension, no more symptoms of UCTD (Undifferentiated Connective Tissue Disease), all pain gone with the exception of severe tri-compartment arthritis in left knee, but not anywhere as bad as it used to be. Now able to walk on treadmill 30 minutes, 5 days a week, do cardio with weights, plus all my PT home exercises daily. The only lab work that is still abnormally high is CRP of 15.7, but it's coming down slowly from a high of 41. Plan to stay ketovore the rest of my life, thanks to Dr Berry and others.

Hi from Alberta, Keto-low carb since Easter 2022. 285 lb diagnosed t2d March 2022, found low carb down under and all the right algorithms became available. This last while I've been more carnavor and OMAD. My current weight is 165 lb. My previous A1C have been 5.2, 5.2, and 5.1. Taken at 120-day intervals. Lol, my Learned Dr. of course, freaked on my previous total cholesterol. The last one I lowered the total cholesterol by consuming more fat 3 days prior. Thanks, Dave Feldman.
    Last blood work ,May 2023:
    Total cholesterol 5.67
    HDL 1.53
    LDL 3.55
    Triglycerides 1.30
    Non HDL 4.14
Insulin 49 pmol/ l I think that converts to 8.1667 ųlU/ml My goal weight is around 154 lb. My waist this last two weeks became half my height. My longest fast was 96 hours, but 36-72 hours is generally what I aim for. I think my results are remarkable and ready for a "Hazaaaaa"😂
Keep up your good works. Hi to Granny Berry. I know you are very proud of you son. He has earned the respect and admiration of many who are trusting his good advice.

I was diagnosed with T2d in November 2022. My HBA1C was 12.7 and I was given insulin staight away and was told it was a progressive disease. Thanks to Dr. Berry and Dr. Jason Fung's channel. I changed to keto straight away and was off insulin within 3 weeks. My HBA1C dropped to 5.9 to within 9 weeks and further to 5.2 within 3 more months. Right now my HBA1C is down to 5.0 and I am feeling great. I have changed to ketovore/carnivore about 3 months ago and are below 20 total grams of carbs most of the time and have also integrated intermittent fasting (16:8). My longest fast was 28 hours as I didn't feel hungry at all. My weight as dropped by 94
pounds so far. Down from 305 to 211 pounds. A few more pounds and I have reached my goal weight. I do go for walks every day for about 2 hours that helps me to offset sitting all day in the office. My blood pressure is still a bit elevated 130/90 but has come down from 190/110. My doctor wanted to prescribe me blood pressure medication which I refused. She said that it should have normalised by now after the amount of weight I have lost but I refused which she couldn't understand. My busy job in logistics my also play a part but I am hoping that it will normalise eventually.
I can only recommend a propper human diet it has saved my life.

I started with keto first two weeks then eased into carnivore. Not perfect at first. Most days but would take one meal off about once a week to eat a little something. I also used some ghee and MCT oil. Also have a flavored drink powder with MCT oil. Also used LMNT electrolyte drink mix. Those helped me get through keto flu. I slept a lot too. In bed early. That helped me get a good 16hrs fast in every day. Going to bed early helped me deal with feeling a little run down. It took me a few days to get to the point that my energy level was high. I started walking my dog a bunch every day. I got back in the gym lifting weights several times a week. Don’t give up. If you cheat, don’t quit, just get back on track.

I put it in a Ninja mini blender. It actually tastes pretty good. This is my way of getting off caffeine, with it being a hot drink.

Also diabetics if they stuck to their diet and medication If over wieght were expected to lose weight.

Been at this for about 4 years now, feeling better and younger than I did over a decade ago. Mostly clean Keto to ketovore but sometimes all I want is fatty steak.

Finally started losing weight this month too. Down 14 pounds. Body is starting to feel stronger and arthritis pain has begun to ease. Every little improvement keeps me going and not to slip back into crap food again. Early in we went for Chinese food and I immediately felt the pain in my joints and muscles. Crazy! Took a week or more to recover. Thank you 🙏🏻

You mentioned cooking veggies. Your website says "The ideal way to eat your vegetables is raw or lightly steamed. What you want to
avoid is cooking them until they are soft or mushy. When you do this, many
nutrients are destroyed, and the fiber is broken down. This can turn an acceptable
    vegetable into a starch!"

The usual stuff, and they even include recipes with sugar (but be sure to use unrefined sugar!) and all kinds of grains (be sure to use whole grains!), reduce your meat, work out and eat more veggies. It's vengeful!

Hi you kids. I'll see you in Orlando. My longest fast was 36 hours, but generally, I've done 20 - 22 hours since February 2022. On occasion, it accidentally gets to 24 hours.
My last A1C was 5.4. My total cholesterol was 135. My doctor patted me on the back and said just keep doing what I'm doing. I only weigh at my doctors 3 month appointments. Doing it more often would be my downfall. I had my last appointment 1 week after the low carb cruise and only went down 2#'s. Not much...But it was down that's my only goal. I'm 4#'s from my doctors goal and 24# from my goal if I go by the scale. I'm actually more tuned into my size. Realistically everyone has to realize that our bone structure won't change, so go to what looks good for your structure not by the scale. I'm 75, 76 this coming Christmas Day, but I feel like I should be 60. I want to thank you for making this so much more informative than it was 50 years ago as Atkins.
If I choose to have something other than beef to eat, I actually feel like I've not eaten enough and crave beef.
    ❤Gloria from Florida
