LOVE these videos guys!! Very helpful and lots of useful information!! One small suggestion: the repetitive, repeating chipmunk vocals on the background music is distracting. Maybe a barely noticeable instrumental so we can hear all the great info would be ideal. Keep up the GREAT work!!👍

Great vid. We've lived in LC for 13 years now and love it. Big enough (Hospital/Safeway, etc), but not too big. You do seem to be a bit focused on sunny weather. :-) Don't get me wrong, sunny weather is great, but so are storms and some nice mist. The variety in the weather is one of the things we love.
Also, Lincoln City has a lot of elevation. Not only beautiful cliffs and hills, but if one is concerned about Tsumanis, having elevation very nearby to get too is nice, and not something every coastal town has.
It's actually a very walkable city too, depending on where you live. I'd like them to add a few more sidewalks (I'm looking at you "south Nelscott just before Taft")
Another great part is that the Bijou Theater has probably the best movie theater popcorn in Oregon. ;-)
Also, they are EV friendly, in that there are two public parking lots with free level 2 charging. So you can park, plug in, and explore the areas. And there are some fast chargers (Tesla and non-Tesla) there also (those aren't free obviously).

I have been watching your videos this week because we are going to the coast for a vacation. This video has the background music too high and it's competing with your monologue. It is also not a soothing toon. I will try to get thru the video but it is like water torture. Generally I have loved your videos. Great channel.

I live in Seattle and got a job at Lincoln city but there is no apartments to rent .It seems like a vacation town ?
It's all about the tourism, they don't care about the locals here, my recommendation is stay far far far away from here. It's a horrid little town.

Mold mold mold and although beautiful that is the only great thing... many truths in the comments.
I hate living here, especially in the winter when they cut hours back so much you can't even make half the rent. And a very toxic community. Nonstop accidents, not to mention people get shot over road rage. There's very few long term rentals and it's all about tourists where locals are overlooked, even a vet clinic here turns away locals because they need to care for tourists pets.
I work 3 jobs and still can't pay my rent this winter. There's so many people with multiple jobs but still living in cars because there's no housing or can't afford it, not to mention people's rents get raised yearly. Inconsiderate tourists trashing the beaches nonstop. It is a terrible terrible place to live.
Ive been scouting these comments for the brutally honest reviews of Lincoln City, and as a LC local myself, I really can agree, it's pretty shitty and it may have more cons than pros

Considering moving here ? DO YOUR HOMEWORK ! If you are considering purchasing a home....CONSIDER WINTER WEATHER !!! Your home may look Beautiful in the Summer/Spring........Traffic on Highway 101 during especially peak times will make you think twice about running an errand or even going out. Nothing a Glass Float or Ocean will take away. Is your home in a Flood or Tsunami Zone ? Insurance for both are outrageously unaffordable. Is your "Lovely Looking" Neighborhood really not a Neighborhood at all BUT A VACATION RENTAL BUSINESS ZONE ? Uhhhhh yeah. Rising Property Taxes becasue of. Crime, Noise, Trash left unattended, because yes, the partiers that stayed there are now gone off to their next adventure, not to mention, 4th of July wreaks havoc not only in your once quiet Neighborhood, but on the Beaches and Forests Wildlife. Highway 101 does not have a Truck Route, or a Bypass making travel for Emergency Vehicles, Police, strained with surrounding growth. Pharmacies are worked to the Brink, long lines, staff shortages. Hospital worker, Police, Fire, all pushed to the brink as the County is not putting into account for infrastructure. Schools also strained. Families pushed into crackerbox housing because Neighborhoods have been sold to Corporations Groups. These are just a few of the things.........................
