PLEASE do not use real Mohair. It has been exposed as one of the most cruelly-produced wools. Mohair comes from a certain kind of goat that must be bred according to the demand of mohair, the goats are sheared 2x a year and the process is incredibly stressful for them as they are treated extremely roughly and at times even killed during the process - their skin is torn leading to infection and sometimes death, males are castrated and young males have their horns burned off. The goats' lack of wool at times causes them to freeze to death. Workers are paid unfairly, not by the hour but by how many goats they shear, which is part of the reason the goats are handled so roughly. It also mainly comes from South Africa which means the transport process isn't exactly environmentally friendly. Many brands have banned mohair for these reasons. I love how it looks & feels too, so I get it, but be responsible & use synthetic alternatives please!

Okay, so I need fashion advice. For any of you ppl that know about online fashion stores, how bad is Shein? Because I'm a teenager girl who is 5"6 and around 206 pounds. I'm a size 14 so I'm obviously plus sized. I'm really thinking of shopping at Shein to get all my clothes, because I don’t have the money to pay $35 for a shirt and I need plus size, and Shein is the only online store I've found with good plus sized items for cheap. Should I shop at Shein and if not, does anyone have good, plus size friendly online stores? I'm looking for trendy and in style clothes in my size that are affordable.
Shein is terrible for the environment, it’s awful. They’re plenty of mini documentaries about it on UA-cam too. But I’m in a similar situation to you, I’m a size 14, teen, and I shop on shein. I cannot afford to buy sustainably as it’s so expensive for me, I don’t have many thrift stores in my area, & can’t afford to travel far to find them. My best advice would be to research, try and see if you can find any other better brands. If you can’t, when purchasing from shien do small hauls and always check reviews(some clothing can be low quality) The main issue with shein, is that many people especially UA-camrs/influencers, will spend like 2,000 instead of just buying sustainably. So yes, it’s horrible, but overall shein has helped me stay “trendy” within what I can afford and in my size. Edit: Just wanted to add, I haven’t been able to find any brands that are affordable, sustainable, and have plus sized options, so I can’t recommend any right now. (I’m still searching for them tho) sorry! :(
@@isa-sn3ng thank you so much for the advice on reviews and I'm glad to find someone in the same situation as me! I hope we can find some better places and if you do please tell me! I also don't have any thrift stores near me because I'm from a small town.
Please don’t shop at Shein, it’s the worst of fast fashion! Try h&m they are a lil bit better or monki (both have a „for the environment“ line I think for monki it’s called „monki cares“ - it’s a bit greenwashing but still way better than shein) or thrift!! I often find plus sized clothing when thrifting and it’s so much fun and makes your style much more individual!

purpleeee! i've never liked the colour purple in my life but over the last couple of months i've fallen in love with deep shades of purple! still hate lilac lol
i think purple and green are really big rn , I see it everywhere !
@@zzz-dv8kr yes because we are seeing apparels in this color everywhere and it kinda alters are decision ....for me i really like purple in winter wardrobe , for summer i think rosy pink and pale yellow will also come back
@@user-bd6hn yes but i think next year we will see it in faux leather and colorful sherpa as well
Purple ended up being pantone's color of the year for 2022, a violet-blue called "veri peri" 🍇🫐
just dicovered your channel today, and I am in love.
that lipstick looks so good on you!
Love the headband, so cute❤️❤️
so many amazing new videos from you!!! it makes me happy
The fact that I already am on most of these trends 💀... I hope more people jump on these but a part of me wants to gatekeep.
girl this is me…i feel evil for wanting to gatekeep but😭
aw I work as the visual manager at the dillards in Toledo and there’s so much cute shyt randomly !!!! love this vid ty
I also think stars are gonna be a big trend like u know this orange marc jakob sweater with the big blue star on it also cross body bags, plaid and of course patterned tights are gonna stay
the gloves yes !!!!! i love the look of them so much omg i saw a tiktok of a bride who wore mesh white opera gloves and it was just divine im obsessed !!! i’d love to wear them but it’s summer here in australia rn 🥵 and i have tiny hands idk where to get gloves that’ll fit me 😭
samee living in australia means the trends are always a bit different because we have seasons at different times
I've seen the fuzzy trend, it's getting bigger and I think it's snowball for 18 months rather than just a season, it'll be in and out between countries
That one Paloma Wool puffer with a screen print of a waterfall is definitely popular rn, so I totally agree with patterned puffers
Last year we saw a lot of fun and bright colors trending but this year I think there will be more earthy tones in fashion. I'm thinking dark teal and rust colors specifically
wow.... great video but I can't see myself wearing any of these trends and i'm happy about that, i guess it shows i'm spending less time online and i'm more independent with my personal style
i love every single one of your videos,
your content has inspired me to become more creative with my own personal style!!!♥️♥️
could you maybe make a video on holiday/NYE fit inspo? i’m trying so hard to not buy a new outfit just for new years LMAO
happy holidays and be well!!!♥️
I usually really love you and your videos but you have a big audience and maybe you should inform yourself about the mohair industry before talking about how it will be a trend next year. The goats suffer painfully and there are simillar types of yarn you could use and recommend to your followers instead. Please do not see this as an insult, I just wanted to raise awareness about this
Your voice is sooo soothing
These trend predictions are my favorite 😊
i feel like the 90s waif era is def gonna come back soon i lowkey hope it doesnt tho i want it 2 stay kinda niche
Ok love this, I’m a fan of layering. ✨
Yes please show us how to wear these trends!!
I just wanna say that I really like your headband, it suits you well! I've had a similar one on my wishlist for nearly 2 months now and I think I'm finally gonna go for it :)
Just a tip…switch the word ‘material’ with the word ‘fabric’ and instantly sound even more knowledgeable about fashion.
I’m so happy about mohair being trendy as I’ve been crocheting a tonnnnnn of mohair pieces lately and wearing them. Thinking about starting a little shop of my own to sell them even! We’ll see though if I’m ready to put myself out there like that though ☺️
I want gloves to be mainstream so bad so I can wear them. Like white lace gloves 😍
is this comment a joke? lmaoo whatt
@@sardlili8600 no, why?
My ptediction is seeing more of pesant tops or like cottage core but more casual
I just got my first beret today!! I love the idea of gloves too. I feel like my style is headed towards a more preppy route this year.
When I think layering, I remember wearing doubled tanks. I am not ready for it boo
Omg
Love your makeup look!! Looks gorgeous on you
You in the festhered tube top>>> BLESSED US
most peoples vlogmas always kinda fails or is boring but yours is amaaaaaaaazing giiirl
Loved this video! Your makeup looks soo good:)
extreme layering is just called living in denmark to me XD also!!!! vests arent an unnecessary layer tf they actually work quite well at keeping your core warm
I think she means in areas where it’s not cold. I’m a barista in Los Angeles, and I can not tell you how often I see women in sweater vests when it’s perfect weather and they def do not need it! It’s a fashion choice at that point.
@@eliza317 ahh okay, makes sense. I'm one of those in the summer, I can't stand summer fashion 🥴
Keep up the good work, Laini!❤️❤️
love this video!! what lip color are you wearing?
Oh my god ı have been waiting sincr ı born for Gloves to be trend ı am so happy to hear thatt
Also 70's and bellbottoms.
love u laini mwah
Your look and voice reminds me so much of Rachel McAdams!! I just watched a few old movies with her in it and thought she looked so beautiful with darker hair. Lucky you haha!
i think a ton of 70s kind of fashion is gonna come back around this year lol
hi, lovely video! thanks for the inspiration
Haha have had my boret since high school. I still wear it super often. Thank you Emily in Paris for making me trendy lol.
I’m absolutely on the beret and glove train
I hate that I live in a small town where people think you’re weird if you’re not in jeans and a tshirt
the feathers remind me of big bird, I approve of them at the end of sleeves though, or as a trim on a dress ,maybe?
I think you are bang on the money with these trends.
I often find plus sized clothing when thrifting and it’s so much fun and makes your style much more individual!
you're giving Vivienne in Legally Blonde
Love ur vid 💗 what lipstick are u wearing?
I forgot to mention I’ve been wearing the catsuit as well. Posted last month on my IG
I paired the feathers with, like, leather, all these different textures together..
top 10 rappers eminem was too afraid to diss
Would you go into accessories please?
Make a video showing all the stuff you've knitted!
i see a lot of leg warmers and earmuffs coming back and im so here for it
there's no sustrainable way to wear feathers..... People in my town would NEVER.
When laini posts a picture that u saved on your Pinterest🥺🤩
off topic but where did you get that headband? its so cute
CVS haha
can you pls share how you knitted your fingerless gloves? love the video btw
SJP in the SATC reboot wears gloves! I def think this will be huge
Feathers are glamorous and I would not call it preppy at all. Mohair is very expensive, and I love it. I do not like fleece, or puffer jackets and I don't think they are cute.
I see padded purses and shoes next year
I feel like bell sleeves will become trendy
I love them a lot!!!🙌 always have since I was 12 lol
Totally agree with you I don’t like show my bellybutton 🤮🤮👎🏽❤love your video 🎉👍🙏
can you share your lipstick shade plz? luv!
The catsuit: I feel nakey
what lipstick are you wearing? love the color😍
