- If you've always dreamed of being featured on Vogue.fr, this is now possible! This is all thanks to the new "Street Style" series, in which personalities from the fashion world analyze and unpack the best looks seen in the streets of Paris. This unique forum is dedicated to you, to reveal everything about your outfit of the moment and prove your fashion credentials. For the very first episode, it is over to Sophie Fontanel, who shares her thoughts. Can you pair a Prada handbag or a Dries van Noten skirt with a Guerrisol jacket? This question of daring and style is reviewed by her expert eye.

Meanwhile, American Vogue giving us 18 year-old Tik Tok stars’ beauty secrets. I want this content! So lovely! I could listen to Sophie all day.
Totally agreed, tiktok is stupid
THIS^^^
Fr. And the secrets will be some basic shit like putting on blush in an upward motion
@@nah_. i would like to hear fashion tips or something related to fashion from designers
I know right, it’s so ridiculous
I love when she said that when you have money , you make 4000 euros mistakes and even in 5 euros you can create a genius outfit .
It was the cringiest thing i've ever heard though. If you're poor and have very limited resources to dress yourself or none at all it doesn't work like that. They make 4000€ mistakes from being stupid no one forces them to buy expensive clothing. Most poor people do not have enough money to spare into thrift shops to get a wardrobe big enough to be fashionable. When you dress based on what you can find un thrift shops you need a bigger closet because no clothe is perfect, does perfectly fit, they're rarely basics, etc. So you need to have more to be able to do interesting combinations. I know because i've always done that by lack of fund and now clearly have a unique style thanks to it.
Stop romanticizing poverty tbh...
@@capucnechaussonpassion14 i do agree! but i think she didn't think about the 'real poor people', but low middle class or something like that. as you've said, most poor people do not have enough money to spare in clothing, but rather food and basic resources that they need. even 5 euros can be a lot to spent for a cloth.
@@capucnechaussonpassion14 That's not at all what she said. People with money don't really put any thought into what they're buying and don't developp any sense of personal style. Saying you can build a genious outfit with 5€ means you have to really look for what fits you best, because you can't afford to throw those 5€ away. It's about knowing what you like, not how much you spend on it. Indeed, people with expensive clothing often buy them just out of elitism.
She's not romanticizing poverty, she's saying you can actually developp a strong sense of personal style and end up with better outfits if you forget the price tag = Pricier doesn't mean better.
You also don't need more clothes to get good combinations. 3/4 of my closet is second hand and it's really small, but everything fits me perfectly, because I chose every piece carefully.
@@camilaelaaly9451 100% agree with you. Her intention was definitely about decision making rather than about equity.
Also, yes on the wardrobe. Whenever I buy new clothes, there are three things that come to mind: affordability, skin tone matching, and pairing with my existing wardrobe. That way it doesn't break the bank and my clothes offer limitless combinations that will flatter me.
I already can imagine a series just like this, but in all the different cities of France. So we can see the difference in styles all over France, thats incredibly cool as well. I've noticed that in the South, the people wear more colours like yellow, red, more bright colours. Really great thing that this has now become Vogue France! BRAVO!!
Right? I’m French but not from Paris, and it is just so annoying to always hear about Paris like other cities doesn’t exist
The girl with the big clothes looked so stylish because she had on the orange scarf. That was the piece that anchored her big clothes. I liked the boy's street style as well.
One thing I wished Sophie touched on is that both of their street styles were big & flowy with intersecting parts of masculine & feminine, so that their big clothes moved as fluidly as their gender. Alot of younger generations are breaking free of gender role expectations & it's now being reflected in alot of the fashion we're seeing in youth culture.
I love this, people who create unique style instead of just following trends.
these are trends though lol. in fact ppl have been dressing like this in nyc for a decade
Street style forever and always the best resource for inspiration
Oh i adore this, all vogue is about ! The people ! The culture, Not the boring celebrities regurgitating the same story every time. I want to see the people their stories
This!! I so agree!
I don’t ever need to see Emily in Paris but I do need to see more of the icon Sophie Fontanel analyzing what people in Paris really wear
Emily in Paris was rubbish. America's/Hollywood's dumb idea of what French or Parisian style is, which they know nothing about.
Emily in Paris🤢🤮🤮🤮 make it stop!!!!
@@JH-jm2zb 🤣🤣🤣
@@ethiopiazoldyk4667 ikr, her ugly eyebrows, like how does someone so basic get that role? Oh yeah: nepotism baby! Make me barf my gizzards!🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮
@@JH-jm2zb damn. I never even knew she was a Nepo baby🤣
Makes the whole situation worse lol.
Magnifique.
🥰😍😍
¡sí, sí, por favor!
I love how warm and friendly the host is when talking to everyone about their looks. And, as someone who dies their hair unnaturally red, I really feel the first person’s statement about neutral colors making fashion colored hair easier to match. I basically wear black, denim, and sometimes deep blue or deep green.
Loved this video! The commentary on outfits was on par; need to see more!
Agreed!
So sad i cannot understand what they say.
We all definitely need more street style videos with Sophie. Her descriptions and insights are flawless and thought provoking. Bravo to every stylish person featured.
Orange scarf on off white is amazing...soo elegant
I would love to see more of Sophie as she comments on different cities in France. Please make it a series! 🙏👍🏽
"Quand on a les sous on fait des erreurs à 4 OOO€, quand on n'a pas les sous on fait des coups de génie à 5€" j'adore !
C'est ça la vrai mode !!!
I love the young man wearing his grandfather's' tie and carrying his grandmother's bag!
The subtle roast of the English speaker’s outfit 😂😭 “old clothes that aren’t even back in style” LOL
The guy with the tie! 😍
Now I feel like thrifting, it's such an adventure. All looks are phenomenal.
This is my favorite video on UA-cam right now. I am usually annoyed by people who think they are fashionable but just simply follow trends but everything about this screams STYLE 💜
these people are actually all really beautiful, so different and yet all are so charming in their own ways
I need all of their ig immediately. The energy this video radiates.. 10/10
On sait jamais 😂😂😂
Please keep doing this! My favorite video of all time. Plus, the first two people should model.
they probably already do
I totally agree with you! 😉
The guy is a model
Who ever filmed and did the edits for this needs a raise.
I have no words for the second human being...he is an ode to exquisite taste...pure art
ikr🕸🕸🕸
he is pure beauty
he is called Louis Seriot, if you want ^^
@@dianeparise2508 thanks
He looks like a lesbian but okay.
Look #7 is absolutely stunning and sophisticated. They're fashion goals. The hair, the makeup, the clothes. Absolutely perfect
the second person is literally one of the coolest people i think i have ever seen? like wtf
I love the interpretation sophie give to the styles i want to see more of this content please 💖💖💖
The girl with the orange scarf is so beautiful 🧣
Sophie Fontanel is so appreciative. I love the intermixing of the commentaries. More, more, more!
everyone looks like a model. they're amazing!!
What i love about Paris street style, they're be themselves. Magnifique!
love this new series...looking at how Parisians style themselves is always an inspiration to me! looking forward to Street Style #2!
"When you have the money, you make 4000 euro mistake - When you don't have the money, you make genius moves for 5 euros". SAY IT LOUDER QUEEN
I love Sophie Fontanel! Thank you for bringing her back!
Thank you for adding English translations! I’m excited to see what’s next.
One of my favorite Vogue´s video ever. I love fashion and Paris, i hope to see more of those wonderful videos!
AMAZING!!! Love this series so much!!! I feel so much more relatable to people on the streets, more inspired to learn and create and find my own style!! Thank you Vogue France!! Please keep doing this!!! 😍😍😍
That boy with the amazing curly hair could easily be a model. I bet, every designer would book him.
He is a model
I ABSOLUTELY love the second look... it's so unique & creative yet so simple. Just... wow.
I hope this series continues♥ Absolutely love it
This commentary was so good. I love the effortless of the clothing they wear. It's chic, it's comfortable and based in personal style. My kind of people.
I personally loved the girl with the red platform boots look. I loved that the commentator mentioned the cardigan was an expensive peice but that she didn't mention it. And most of all the detail of the safety pin to hold it closed, making this seemingly expensive pieces focus on wearability rather than the price or social status it could bring because of it's value. Magnificent.
Also the subtle jab at Americans and UK is funny lol
I love this video so so much! I wanna see more kind of this videos 😍 and more of une file un style! I'm so obsessed with this kind of videos! Behind them videos are people who tell us real stories! LOVE THIS SO SO MUCH!
This is the content we need. Keep it up, Vogue France ❤️ 👏🏻
Damn man I fall in love with the girl with the orange scarf 🧣

YES! More of this, please!
I'm watching Vogue France videos to bring my long-diseased French back to life. I have to say of all the Vogues I follow Vogue France is my favorite. No wonder Paris is the capital of fashion.
I just rediscovered Sophie, so smart!!! amazing video!
I love this video! Please make more!
i love love love love love the quality of this video
Sophie Fontanel’s comments are so thoughtful, intelligent and profound. Her insights enhance what the Parisians have to say and what we are seeing them wear.
Incroyable Sophie! Incroyable looks! super vidéo
the way that every single look is inspiring and expressive in its own ! the girl in the 7th look is ridiculously gorgeous need to find her...
Sophie is so right! Parisians are extra but ordinary in their own way. THIS is exactly what I like about French fashion! I just wish someday I would be able to flaunt my fashion in Paris. J'adore
Yes I love their Unique looks! Reminds me of the saying:
Fashion says everyone, but style says only me‼️🌟😉
J‘adore ce format! 😍
Always loved the style in Paris. Alot of style inspo
j'adore ce format!
omggg loved this video. I loved the girl with blue hair and the girl with the red boots!
Cette émission est incroyable. Tout simplement.
I love this, but I'd love to see some varieties in bodies next as well.
Wow love the outfits ,I want to see more of this please Vogue
Wonderful people. wonderful fashion and street. Thank you.💝
wow, i want more of this content. her commentary and all of the people are so interesting :D
Génial ! Fabuleux ! Magnifique ! Tooop ! Sensas ! Excellent ! Merveilleux !
What an interesting woman, watching her in translation and totally delighted with her thoughts and I really liked the guy in the tie and grandmother's bag, so handsome and dressed beautifully and keeps the memory of his family, it was great!
So nice this new format!!!!!!
