Wow! Thank you so much! The wax, when diamond painting, can be so annoying, because you go through it so quickly, and you're constantly having to pick off the little gooey edges that keep hanging over the pen tip. This looks like a lifesaver. Going to order these right away. Thanks again for sharing! 💜🌺💕💜🌺💕💜🌺💕
Thank you so much! I heard about the glue dots and I got some, but I could NOT figure out how to make them work. Thanks so much for the show and tell!! 😊
I heard you talking today in you WIP about glue dots. So hunted and saw this video. woohoo.. So watched it and being a paper crafter (make cards) I have glue dots.. I filled my pen and I worked on my RS and did a 4.5X12 inch. area and boy what a game changer. I didn't have any issues with the glue dots. Using the wax I was filling every 1/2 hr. if not sooner. Thanks so much for the video.. I will fill my other pens now that I see it works.. Plus I love the pop sound as you release. Love it. Thanks so very much.
Oh yayyyyyy!!!! Billie I’m so glad you tried these out!!! Aren’t they the best???? I LOVE them!! I honestly don’t see myself ever using anything else!! They leave zero residue on your drills and like you said you don’t have to switch them out every half hour. And yessssss the popping sound!!!!!! Oh my goodness it’s like ASMR!!!! Wow!! This makes me so happy that you have found a trick to make this wonderful hobby even better!!!!! Yay!!!!! Thank you Billie for watching this one!!!!😘🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much for this! I haven’t tried glue dots yet and I’ve been DPing for about 2 years! Going to give it a try because you made it look so easy! 💞
Hey Loveswine!! Glue dots are the best!!! Such a game changer!! They last up to a week for me and leave no residue!! And yessss they are so easy to use and put in your pen!!! I think you will really enjoy them!!! Thank you so much for checking this video out!!!!! 🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️
I just started diamond painting and already having problems with wax, so this sounds great. Your instructions were very clear and I love your enthusiasm!
You are more than welcome!!!! I hope it helped you to decide if they are worth a shot at trying!! They are veryyyyyy sticky in the beginning but I will either keep rolling them between my fingers or put a tiny amount of lotion on them!! It works like a charm each time and they last me easily 12-15 hours or longer. Mainly longer!!! Lately I haven’t changed mine for over a week!! Such a game changer!!!! Thank you again so much for supporting me and the channel!! Thank you!!!!!🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️
Of course my Darling!! It was no trouble at all!! And yes it is super easy!! Lol!!! And much cleaner-no wax residue or having to constantly change the wax out. They really last a long time as well!! It has been a total game changer since I’ve started using them!! ❤️❤️❤️ I really hope you are able to find them!! I forgot to mention it but AliExpress has them as well!!!
Awww thank you Maria for watching it!!! I’m so happy that it was able to help you!!! Glue dots are the best!!!!!! They last for so long! I haven’t changed mine in a week and it is still going strong!!! Thank you so much for subbing and showing me such wonderful support!! I appreciate you so much!!!🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you, I’m working on my first diamond painting, and I was doing okay with the wax, until one particular color of an AB. I ended up using my tweezers to place several, just to keep me from being too frustrated. The glue dots look like they would help me in that situation.
I am so grateful I found out about glue dots. I just started diamond painting recently and the wax was immediately cumbersome to me and I probably wouldn’t of stuck with it if I hadn’t come across glue dots instead of wax. GAME CHANGER! I’m curious, I’ve heard others talk about using museum putty? Have u tried that? Does it compare? Anyway thank you for the video. Concise, and right to the point. 💜💜
Thanks for the video. I just began diamond dot art and noticed when I get done there's always little strings of the red wax in between the dots. This should eleviate that so I'm excited to try this. What do you do with your extra dots? I bought little bead containers to store them but then realized that every painting is goingnto use different color/numbers.
Gorgeous.. Rachel, you are such a good teacher! Do you teach in any colleges or schools? I’m moving to Syracuse, New York, so if you’re interested in teaching, work here! My daughters Makalya and Rylee would LOVE you 😍
Aww thank you Blandfork!! No I’m not a teacher just a nurse lol!!!! Congratulations on your move and I hope you love it there! Good luck with everything!! Take care Hun💕💕💕
Thanks for the tutorial. I can see that the glue dots could be cleaner on your painting than the wax. I’m going to get some of these. 👍 Hey, when I make any suggestions to you please know that my intent is always for your benefit to try to help your channel grow and hopefully make some 💰😀. Ok here’s a suggestion 😀 when you title a video like this one that is specific to diamond painting I think it would help to drive traffic to the video of people searching for dp tips or ways to use glue dots etc if the title said something like “Diamond painting tip: using glue dots in place of wax” or something like that. Instruction and product videos are usually the bigger money makers in the long run as they continue to get views over the years. You always do a great job on your videos. The filming, editing and presentation are top notch imo. Please forgive my critical mind 😀 I’m old and I’ve spent so many years looking out for people it’s hard not to. I like you and want you to have a huge successful channel if that’s what you want. 🤗❤️
You beautiful sweet wonderful soul!!! I will NEVER take offense to any words of wisdom you offer me!! I accept and receive it all!!! Please continue to help me improve and better myself and the channel. Your ideas and words will always be welcome!! Always!! Thank you for even being willing to do so. I appreciate you so much. You are 100% correct in what you said and I will take heed to it. I adjusted the title. Do you think that can work? If not I will adjust it again. I just didn’t want to take your exact wording as it was your idea lol!!!! Thank you so much for the compliments Sweetbear!!🥰🥰🥰🥰 I’m trying to elevate and get better each time!!!! Thank you for sticking with me for the ride!!! You are so very appreciated ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
@@nurserachelcrafts6630 whew 😅 thank you for being so nice. Most people do not appreciate any advice 😂. Yes, this title is much better but I would not care at all if you used my suggestion anytime. Love your style 🥰👍

Keep doing like you’re doing. 👍Usually under 25 minutes is what I think most people prefer as they usually don’t have a lot of time or a long attention span, at least I’m that way if someone makes 30-40 minute videos a lot of times I just won’t watch even if I like the channel. This is a fantastic tip. I have tons of these leftover from scrap booking that I don't do anymore. One question... are the dots too sticky for AB's or should I keep a regular pink wax pen just for those. Thanks for all you do.

Thanks so much for this video!!! The only issue I’m having is getting the glue dots to not bunch up to the center of my stainless steel multiplacer tips. They work fine in the single placer, but seemed to have the same issue with the plastic multiplacers. But with the stainless steel multiplacers, the dots kinda bunch up and start to migrate towards the center of the pen, no matter how much I try to keep them spread out across the pen. Any tips?? Do I need to just start placing drills and will that keep it spread out? I do use the micro dots so maybe I should try getting larger ones?
Oooo that’s a good question!!! I’ve never used the micro dots in a stainless steel multi placer before. I can totally see how that would cause them to bunch together. I’m not sure how to fix that but I like your idea of possibly using larger glue dots in the multi placer. I’m so curious.
