I find diamond painting so relaxing and meditative. Time just flies by when I sit down to place those drills. ADD doesn't hinder my diamond painting, it helps me focus better than almost anything else besides coloring, of course! Beautiful finished piece.

    @texas8322 Рік тому +264

I used to do diamond painting, and when I saw you pull that plastic sheet off completely, I swear I saw it in slow motion. I will say that the company you got it from must be super good quality, because after a few days of doing a painting, that sticky backing was starting to dry up on me. I basically live in my truck, and I just didn't have the ability to store my finished paintings or those in progress without damaging them, so I had to move on from them. But I did like doing them. Oh, and you are just like the rest of us, because we all get a wrong color going in the wrong location at some point, and with the size of that thing, your average for mishap went up exponentially.

Diamond art club is my all time favorite company to purchase from! I’m disabled and don’t work so diamond painting has really helped me fill my time with something that not only makes me happy but also relaxes me and helps with my anxiety tremendously! A few tips for anyone interested in this hobbie, 1 don’t take all of the plastic off unless you’re planing and changing it to release papers, 2 setting a hard deadline is not necessary for the most part…. All it usually does is force you to overwork on the kit and lead to a burnout and takes away the relaxing part of it, 3 if you find that the pens that come with the kit end up hurting your hands you can buy thicker pens and that really helps! Enjoy your diamond painting! ❤️

Stuck diamonds are more common with square shaped ones. If you come across a lot of them than another good method is to put them into a plastic container with screw top lid, like one from pills or something similar, drip in few pennies or other small coins and shake them vigorously for 10-20 seconds.

It's super impressive what you accomplished in a short amount of time. I absolutely love DAC kits! Diamond Painting was my life in 2022. It got me through 12 months of breast cancer treatment. Every day I'd work on a bit and I felt productive even though I was resting. I also found it to be one of the best hobbies to do while my physical condition was weak. It didn't take too much out of me and I didn't have to think too hard. It's become one of my most favourite hobbies of anything I've done! Thanks for a great video.

I'm one month in and have barely made a dent. I worked for 3 days straight through the day and night because I thought I'd be able to finish it in a week. I'm a month in tomorrow, and not even a quarter way through. I love not feeling alone in my obsession with my craft, so thank you!

It was a challange that she set for herself. It doesn't mean you have to complete a piece of art or any project in the same time frame. I enjoy watching the genuine creation of these pieces. I've done large dimond paintings, and these struggles are real. So many creaters show the begining and the end product and cut out the middle. Making it seem like it's quick, simple, and painless, and that you can't mess it up, as they don't show that.

Interesting! 😃 It looks entertaining and relaxing 🤗.
It's almost similar to pixel art with decorative objects 😯
I have loved very precious work...
its curious tools and imagine being able to hang an art like this on your wall because of the textures 💖Nice job Sarah. Congratulations!!! 👍✨

I love diamond painting, and diamond art club! It takes me a long time to finish one though!
I've also done the wrong colour on more than one occasion!

Welcome to the world of diamond painting! There is something so satisfying and rewarding to this craft that it sucks you in before you know it. I call it the crafter's crack. You either love it or hate it and if you love it you can't get enough of it. Just be careful because another part of the addiction is ordering new kits. Welcome to the club!

Diamond painting seems goofy but it’s soooo relaxing ! I made one and framed it, I’ll sure make another soon. Even better than painting by number or coloring books. You are just focus on ONE SINGLE task and meditate.

Bless you. Your face when they started to do the windows. xD can't have been fun working in peace with them drilling so loudly. what a beautiful piece you took on. I can imagine the patience you must have had doing it.

I just finished the Beast, from Beauty and the Beast, you see it for a sec at 4:24. I usually struggle to find a design I actually like, but this diamond painting is just absolutely gorgeous and I'm in the process of framing it!! The Diamond Art Club quality is outstanding too, so much better than other diamond paintings I've done

I’m doing one now that is 144000 drills, my biggest so far and and I am so glad I’m almost done. I’m always listening to an audiobook, and it’s so nice being able to read during the painting. Only 6 sections left (I always make 10x10 cm sections to break it up). Using another dill pen can help immensely in pain in hands. I personally never use the pens that come with it, as it hurts my hands to much. And switching back and forth placing drills with tweezers instead of the pen helps loads. And bigger drills trays save a lot if time if you planning on doing more Diamond paintings 😊

I have been Diamond Painting for 3 years and DAC quickly became my favorite place to purchase my kits for so many reasons. My motto is the bigger the better because I feel like I am getting a bigger bang for my buck. It can take me 7 months or so to complete a large kit and I love that because these are not cheap kits. One way that I make sure I am getting plenty of movement is to diamond paint on laundry days. My crafty space is upstairs and my laundry room is downstairs. The wash / dry cycle spaced just right to force breaks when diamond painting. I am much more comfortable when playing when I take the proper wiggle breaks.

I love diamond painting and have completed 18 kits so far; many of them are quite large. If you decide to keep diamond painting an easel may help and using putty in a multiplacer instead of wax will help tremendously. In my opinion Diamond Art Club has some of the best kits and selection out there. You did a fantastic job on your first kit!

Diamond Art Club is my favorite diamond painting company. They have amazingly high quality diamonds, the canvases are soft and the adhesive is poured glue, and most importantly they compensate the artists. There is a huge problem with stolen art images in the diamond painting world. Diamond Art Club, Dreamer Designs, Craftibly, Jaded Gem Shop and DIYMoon shop are all great quality and offer fully licensed kits. I diamond paint to relax and I don't usually get much time to do it so it tends to take me forever to finish a kit. There are all kinds of extras you can get to make the craft easier or more fun. Thank you for sharing this video

Love the painting you choose. So pretty. I’ve done about 4 diamond painting and my 4th one caused me to stop diamond painting for a while because it was so huge lol. Larger than the one you did so yep I definitely needed a break 😂 but I will pick this hobby up again sometime in the future.

First off let me say you are an absolute inspiration to many. I'm working on 120 x 50 diamond painting. I'm near the finish line after working on and off on it for 2 years. My job outside of the home involves being on my feet doing hotel laundry most of the shift. Plus I squeeze in a 3 mile hike on my days off. I'm an outdoorsy girl, lol. My tip to you is invest in a standing desk. I have one & I love it!

Amazing work, Sarah! One tip for not mixing up colors in trays: draw the symbols on paper, cut them out, and tape or just drop them into the corresponding trays.

As a diamond painting veteran, I suggest taking your time with your next ones (if you plan to do more). Diamond painting is really a very relaxing marathon, not a dash. It is a hobby for me and work on it sporadically to avoid burnout or physical pain. I also suggest getting a wide variety of pen widths to avoid "writer's cramp" and having water nearby to drink at all times. Your painting turned out beautifully! I've never tried doing one quite that big but it's on my diamond painter's bucket list!

When I diamond paint, I always listen to something, whether it be music or an audio book! It always helps me focus also it looks so good ❤❤
Edit: My favourite thing to use when I diamond paint is a large tray and multiplacers (multitools)
