You are awesome. I have been looking for a better wax because it kept getting on the drills and I had to keep loading my pen. The glue dots are GREAT. Thank you so much.
Hi Lisa! THANK YOU, Sweetie, for showing these again! I had to put my first big picture aside for my move in July, did it a bit when we moved her in Green Bay, WI, and then got frustrated with the wax! And those little pink holders! The wax kept coming out and would get too flimsy, falling apart. I had remembered you talked about this but I couldn't find your video on it! Now I'm going to get that tape! AND a pencil holder! I had purchased about 5 cases like yours, but they came in rows of 4, and you HAD to open the front, and it's hard to do that, plus you have to pour from the row and they don't always stay shut! Either loose or too tight. So I'm in love looking at your individual little cases! AMAZON, HERE I COME AGAIN! Thank you, Lisa! BTW...we LOVE it up here in Green Bay!....💜💕💜💕💜💕💜💕💜💕💜
It's not really a round on one end and a square on the other end. This is just a regular diamond painting pen with a different type of tip on each end: One end is called a single placer and the other end is called a multiplacer where you can place more than one diamond/drill at a time. There are all sizes of multiplacers from 2 to 15.
Hello I have a question please . Witch type of glue dots do you use as there is a few of then like , borders & edges our michles has 4 different types. Thank you .
As a matter of fact, I just found one on Etsy and love it. Here's the link: www.etsy.com/listing/1022014465/3d-printed-diamond-painting-glue-dots?ref=yr_purchases
I don’t like glue dots because they always fall out of my pen when placing drills. I was excited to watch this video because you said you would show us how to not make that happen but then you didn’t 😞
These are on Etsy. However, they're very expensive and there are now a ton of copycats out there. Just go to Etsy and/or Amazon and search for something like diamond painting metal tips. Here's a link to one set I bought on Amazon: geni.us/QGS78nX
Shouldn't take too much practice. Like I showed you, I just roll one into my diamond painting pen, push it down with my fingers and then do the same with a second glue dot. I find that two work fine for awhile and then they end up getting pushed down into the tip so I have to add a third one. If you find they are too sticky (which they do a lot), just dot them on your clothing or the back of your hand to eliminate some of the stickiness. Not sure if this answers your question as I'm not sure exactly what you're having problems with. Please let me know if you need any further help.
You're most likely not doing anything wrong. Usually it is too strong in the beginning. You have to get the glue dot "dirty" by dabbing it on the back of your hand, on your sleeve, on your pants, or anywhere that it will pick up something so that it won't be as sticky. As far as not being sticky enough, you may need another glue dot put in.
Glue dots is what I use. It last so long and leaves no residue. I have tried different kinds of wax but nothing seems to work as good as the glue dots. I use the minis and just use my x-acto knife and just cut them in half. When it get push down as I work I may or may not add the other half. It works pretty good. Never had a problem with ab drill but that's probably because I had used the pen a while so it's no too sticky.
Thanks for the tip with the glue dots. Mine seem to come out of the pen all the time. Will try your method of rolling the glue dot into the pen❤️
Thank you for the information and demonstration!

I like to use the micro glue dots.
Is there a refillable holder for the dots?
As a matter of fact, I just found one on Etsy and love it. Here's the link: www.etsy.com/listing/1022014465/3d-printed-diamond-painting-glue-dots?ref=yr_purchases
How do you seal diamond paintings
I like to use Tombow Aqua Glue. But I know some people like to use Mod Podge too.

When you press it in the way I do, I’ve never had a problem with mine coming back out because it is pressed into the tip harder.
Where do I get forever tip pen?

Sometimes it's too strong and sometimes it's too weak. What am I doing wrong?
