For the multiplacer, it's better to use the mini size instead of the micro. It's easier to get it in there and cheaper too.

Gotcha! This is all I had in my disposal, and it definitely took a bit to mold into the multiplacer! That’s good to know, thank you!

Thanks for the recommendation on the non-brass tips. I'm finding even the red wax not sticking in the brass tips once they're used for awhile.

@@EmilyTaylorVlogs it probably helps that I use the multiplacer side more than the single placer with the glue dots but I'm impressed it didn't dry out or anything

You will find when you take out a dirty glue dot, you can quite often turn it over and put the dirty part into your pen and use the cleaner part out and get more use out of your dots

I always use glue dots in my single placer! The times that I want to switch it up and use a was or putty, I always regret it. Lol. I actually use my tweezers to put the glue dots in my single placer, but I get why you’d recommend using your fingers to get it a little “dirty”
Also, I’m totally with you on the metal tips, 1. I think they look better and 2. They just will last longer, especially if you are a hard presser. I also use metal multiplayers!

I love to use glue dots - I can use one dot for an entire 30 x 40 and its still going strong - take it out periodically and turn it over or swirl it in the tip to get new sticky up on top. Going to try to use them in multi-placer, that would be a huge game changer for me on my color blocks.

I’m still using the same glue dot from when I filmed this! They’re amazing!

I love you pen. Can you share from where you get it from. I definitely going to try the glue dots. I been using paddy wax but leave a lot of residue on drills . Thank you

It works better if you pull the glue dot off with your fingers and roll it around for a bit between your fingers before putting in pen. Just saw that in someone else’s channel

When the drill won’t come off the pen, if you tilt your pen down a little towards yourself the glue dot will release so you don’t have to keep rubbing the pen on your skin/clothing!

Ok .I will have to try again. I had so much trouble with them .maybe because I was using yucky pen.

I have many many pink wax and I try to use it I think it is dryed up as I have had them foe a long time . I'll give glue dots a try . Thank you for your vido and information .

Thanks so much for this video!!! The only issue I’m having is getting the glue dots to not bunch up to the center of my stainless steel multiplacer tips. They work fine in the single placer, but seemed to have the same issue with the plastic multiplacers. But with the stainless steel multiplacers, the dots kinda bunch up and start to migrate towards the center of the pen, no matter how much I try to keep them spread out across the pen. Any tips?? Do I need to just start placing drills and will that keep it spread out? I do use the micro dots so maybe I should try getting larger ones?

Hi!! I’m so glad it was helpful for you!! If it helps, I don’t use my glue dots in my multiplacer’s! I find they’re too sticky. I always use a putty for my multiplacer’s and the micro glue dots for my single placers!

I like using glue dots than the wax, but sometimes the glue dot keeps sticking to the drills and falling out. Or in the multiplacer, the middle drills either don’t stick long enough to get placed, or they stick too well and the drills don’t stick to the canvas. Any tips?

I bought some glue dots from Amazon and I just tried to use them the other day I have to tell you they seem to be a big mess I don't know what I'm doing wrong they are not the mini dots so when I try to put them in a single placer it over feels it and they are quite sticky so the drills don't want to come off of it
