Damn I love that truck! My dad had a Forrest green 75 with a three on the tree and a fancy below the radio- air conditioner. I would so rock this truck as a daily driver!
New subscriber here as of a few days ago. I was liking this project so far. Man, sure cant find any like that around here in Ohio that aren't all rotted away and gone from salt roads in the winter. Looks damn good for an old truck you found at a salvage/junk yard. Nice work!

You got that right. I recently bought a 1977 f150 custom 4x4 351m/400 with 105k original miles for $600. Truck had been sitting around 8 years. I ended up swapping the ignition module and solenoid. It now runs great

I want to get turbines and polish them. Paint the brakes white to match. I don’t know if I would do white letters or the thin white wall. But that’s down the road.
You have yourself a nice old Ford...I really like it. Cool just like it is..dont restore it. I would just go thru brakes,steering, etc to make it safe and reliable. Looking forward to more on it..

I used Meguiars medium cut compound, a cheap pad and a really cheap buffer, followed by Meguiars carnauba wax. I definitely want to do something different with the wheels. That might take a little bit though

Check it out first. Get to know the owner a little and feel them out for information. If it doesn’t run right now, making sure the engine turns over by hand like I showed, just grab the fan and see if it turns the bottom pulley. That can be the whole difference between getting a truck like this and not.

Ill give you a tip for the box bed to get rid of the rust. First wash it with soap, hose it out. Now spray de-ruster on it, there are many on the market, pesonally i use " the must for rust" gel water based, it comes in a spray bottle use a whole bottle. Just soak the heck out of the floor. You can also mix with water to dilute it, Then scubb and scubb leave it wet for two days. Cover with tarp to stop evaporation. Day 2 hose and more scubbing. Repest process untill rust is gone. It will work i garentee it. Check my chanel. Cheers m8

Make a small box to fit in front of your seat . Cup, key and wallet holder.
Throw some chrome wheels on it and white lettered tires it would look even better
