It shatters into many small pieces with less sharp edges. You gotta try real hard to cut yourself with those. 2: if the window is rolled down, the side panel airbag will lose much of its power because it extends out the window. It’s supposed to protect your had from slamming into any hard surfaces. 3: if you get tboned with 120 km/h, the insurance payments or glass shard are your least problem Edit: I almost forgot 4: the hazard lights are ESSENTIAL my dad once slammed into another car on the autobahn, because the driver didn’t turn on their hazards after being involved in a smaller crash. In the end it wasn’t 2 damaged cars, but 4 totaled and 1 damaged car
Once a tinted window saved my family when the shrapnel came at a buzzing speed then it came through the window but what interesting about it that the tint is absorb most the the shrapnel which ofc saved my family live.
