I needed this. I didn't put the whole hose tube through. i lined up the little rubber gasket on the hose, thought it was like that. Your way explained it more .
You are a life savor. Our water pump was just powering out water while we were filling it up to the top. I didn’t release any air. Thank you for your video !!!

Everytime you clean your filter or when you are plugging it back in you can let the air out. Sometimes if you see air in the hose you can let it out too. Just depends since we have to constantly clean the filter.

@EclecticIdeas I honestly didn't even try to hook it up, haha. I went straight to UA-cam and thankfully found your video and it was a breeze. How is your pump holding up now? I've read that they're not that great and it'd be better to update to a sand filter?
@@jade_nev2020 ya we wanted to update to a sand filter too but this pump came with the pool so we are using it. It’s not all that efficient. May be next season we will upgrade to sand filter. Just have to buy all the adapters for house hose and a sand filter that we did not feel like doing it this season. We hooked up the skimmer and it works on so we let it be. Will make another video for setting up sand filter next year. 😂
i don't want this to sound weird, but you have a beautiful voice. i could listen to you explain how to turn on a light switch. you should do audiobooks. 🙂 i mean it. i'm almost too relaxed to set the pump up now. more to the point, five minutes later, i got round to setting up the pump, (the book of instructions is impenetrable, and i found this video with my fingers crossed), and you've made it so clear, and covered all the little nagging questions, and now it's all set up. took me 5 minutes. thank you. you've made this middle aged idiot feel rather clever. cheers 🙂

This is the best video for the bestway look setup, as the instructions that came with the pool are horrible. Thank you so much for clarifying the filter/hose setup. @@DollsandEverythingElse thanks for your comment. Glad it helped. We basically put all the pool parts in one big jar and store it in one place in the garage. That way every time we need it we know where to look. That is very important as these filter hoses keeps breaking. Happy pool time.

Thanks for showing where that extra piece to drain the pool goes. I have spent hours trying to figure out what that piece was for and where it goes. 🤦🏾♀️
For the timer, just set it to the hours you want. Its in 2hr increments. Then it will start at the same time the next day. If you want it reset just unplug and plug it back and start it at the time you want it again. If there is a power outage then do the same thing to set the time. @@barbarabell2908 may be due to the hoses outside that is bent? If the water does not leak outside it should be ok. If you want it straight may be you can tie it with some kind of twines till it becomes straight?
Can you make a video about changing the filter? When I do it the pump starts leaking water way more than it should. Do I need to do something first or what?

I got the same one and it pumps water but it doesn’t seem to be taking debri out of the water and I also don’t feel a suctions from both of the little thingies
@@hobibunny3365 this pump is not that strong so we have to run it for 6-8 hours or more for our pool. The filter should trap the dirt but if it’s not doing it then may you can start out by making sure no air is in the hose?

This was the best set up. I'm struggling to get it set up after the original owners moved. Still don't know what I'm doing. But I'm going to try today to figure out the pump
@@XxS1l3nTxa1Mx just make sure you release the pressure and let the air come out. When the water starts coming out then close the knob on top. That’s should do it.
Hi there! Thank you for the wonderful tutorial. Quick question for you, so with the filter set to run once a day for 2 hours, does that mean we don't have to change the water?
With this type of filter, 2 hours is too less. When you say change water I am assuming the whole pool water? If so we don’t change the water. We just try to keep it clean with filter and vacuum and use chlorine.

Hi there so how often do you let the air out of the valve? Sometimes I leave the pump plugged in and other times i unplug it
Everytime you clean your filter or when you are plugging it back in you can let the air out. Sometimes if you see air in the hose you can let it out too. Just depends since we have to constantly clean the filter.

OMG THANK YOU! Every other video I watched, they put the rubber stoppers in the OUTSIDE of the pool and made a mess when switching the hoses over, LOL

@@DollsandEverythingElse we only use the pool plug when trying to change the hose or for cleaning. But usually the plug is out of the pool.

Great video. Any advice on getting my 3 returns on the inside of pool to lay flat. Tried turning but still is not like it should be. Thx
What do you mean by 3 returns ?
The three connectors that we put on inside off pool. They are not going in straight. They are crooked.

Sure we can do that too. We had another video where we kept the pool clean for 3 years without any pump and we used only chlorine.

This was the best set up. I'm struggling to get it set up after the original owners moved. Still don't know what I'm doing. But I'm going to try today to figure out the pump

How do you prime the pump?
@@XxS1l3nTxa1Mx just make sure you release the pressure and let the air come out. When the water starts coming out then close the knob on top. That’s should do it.

Hi there! Thank you for the wonderful tutorial. Quick question for you, so with the filter set to run once a day for 2 hours, does that mean we don't have to change the water?
With this type of filter, 2 hours is too less. When you say change water I am assuming the whole pool water? If so we don’t change the water. We just try to keep it clean with filter and vacuum and use chlorine.

5:41 can anyone tell me the size of the hose for filter ? I’ve yet to find replacement every hose I get is too big . I was told 1.5 that is too big
The size is 1.25 inches for ours. 1.5 is too big for this pump.

When do you use the pump and filter? Every time you get out the pool?
We usually run it when we are not using the pool. We run it for 6-8 hours.
