- Stuck at home and still need to hit those legs? I've got you covered, we're going all in on at home workouts with dumbbells, bodyweight and bands but today we're starting with a DB leg workout.
If you're curious about sets and reps:
-Static Lunges: 3 sets / 20 reps (each)
-Dumbbell Front Squat: 2 sets / 20 reps & one completely awful fail at 12 set
-Sumo Squat: 3 sets / 30 reps
-Stiff Leg Deadlifts/Romanian (for you people that care about the technical -definition: 3 sets / 10 slow reps
-Reverse Lunges: 3 sets / 15 reps (each)
I'M JUST SO SOOOO HAPPY TO HAVE DISCOVERED YOU
Bro take it easy on the pre. Might have to resort to it for food if the shit hits the fan.
Lmao

Workout time stamps
Lunges (pressure on front leg)
Quads - 1:16

How much rest ?
Now I understand why reverse lunges aren't here, i wasn't able to reach there either
I always like the guy who gives the time stamps. Oh yeah, and I give him a like too.
you missed reverse lunges
Loved the "The Wolf of Wall Street" reference in the beginning 😄
So that's why I started beating my chest automatically 🤔

Major Chungus EHH EHH OHHH
douche
The dog on the back couch was like "y'all hearing this?"
Dude, you’re like my daily answer to how I can remix my workouts.
Literally what I was just thinking !
Well put!
Never again, couldn't walk for 2 days legs were dead 😭
I have had these for several weeks ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx8N-gevHZ6YWNoOYdRjL90vdbNyOKKHxL and I have been really happy with them so far. I love being able to do a variety of workouts at home when I don't have time to make it to the gym. When paired with a basic bench, there are tons of different exercises and you can hit pretty much all major muscle groups. It is easy to adjust to your desired weight with the dials on each side. They slide in and out of the cradle smoothly. The only downside to this design vs the newer version, is that these are pretty wide. This does limit your range of motion with certain hand positions on certain exercises. Straight dumbbell press would be an example of this. I have to turn my hands slightly in order to bring them close enough together. Not a huge deal to me though. Really happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend.
Been working out at the gym for 8 years, since I was 12. I think I saw the most growth starting a year ago using dumbbells and having a better diet growing up as a skinny ectomorph. This channel got me to explode my gains in the past 7 months.
What did you change in your diet

Thanks for no long winded preamble...purpose-how to-good bye. I’ve been lifting for over 40 years and finally found a simple source that actually delivers results.
Thanks man!
Perfect mix of not fooling around and keeping it light while making it heavy.
Love it.
I’ve been working out for over a decade and thought I’d figured out everything that would work for me. Your the only “ UA-cam fitness person” I can actually stand to listen too lol. Thanks for the info brother.
Best fitness channel on the internet. Simple, precise, to the point. Not sure why it took so long for me to discover this dude.
Legitimately the best resource I’ve found. Purposeful, practical and passionate. No BS. The techniques and variations are groundbreaking for me. I wish I’d found you sooner. PS - For the back lunge, where you’re rear foot is sliding across the ground, I used one of those disks that help in moving furniture on carpet. Worked great. Thanks!
I like how you pointed out not to let the muscle rest, constantly keep it tense.
"i take the couple of dumbbells and they either like the intensity or they die"
Holy crap, 59 years old and just getting back into working out. This was a great (humbling) way to get started! Thought I was going to have a heart attack but hammered through. Be back tomorrow!
Ive shared his vids w 5 people now...we're ALL hooked!
In the bay area, no gym since Monday, I ordered some resistance bands with those hand grips, since I got 10lb, 20lb, 30lb, 40lb and 50lb resistance, so can go 10-150lb depending what I hook up. I highly recommend these since it was only $80US... I had nothing to start with at home so it seem like the best and cheapest option since I don’t want to workout at home long term, but need something to get me through this. Love to see workouts with those! Also, water jugs are great too for smaller muscle groups.
I bought some 70s vinyl weight plates and two used bars, triceps and ez curl bar on eBay. They have other good used stuff too.
You're awesome Ryan! Thanks for thinking of us again. Awesome vid.
YOUR DOGS!!! Nothing makes people happier than videos about dogs!
Or CATS!!!
Loved every set of this one! Utilized my gliders on those reverse lunges + added five sec holds on the glute lifts. Wrinkle cream ain't got nothin' on this girl's favorite weights!
LOVE YOU MAAAAAN!!!
I'm doing legs tomorrow... yes, gym has been closed FOR A DAY! and I'm dying already... ordered me a bench and a pull up bar...
Informative and entertaining at the same time. I was actually able to enjoy watching the video without double tapping the right side of the screen.
Great routine. Dumbbell routine. Grow that content. Even before this epidemic, many of us love and use DB at home. 💪🏻
I love how you said F*** y** to power blocks when it came to buying the stand for those dumb bells. Looks like you improvised which is nice!
Right. I’m glad to pick up on this...
Thanks Ryan! Now that so many gyms are closing, please keep these home workouts coming.
I had to substitute the dumbbells with sandbags but got this workout done. Cheers mate.
You're the BEST Ryan.. Thank you mate...
I really like your videos. You go straight to the point and emphasize the importance of reps and resistance. Best of all your workouts with dumbells only - are extraordinary. Thanks.
My legs almost collapsed between sets during this workout; I couldn't complete this routine. If you've developed old man ass over COVID season approach this workout with caution. I'm definitely going to keep at it though, great stuff Ryan.
Thanks for not quitting..
I work out at home in a home gym exclusively (bench plus assortment of dumbbells and barbells) and this is the best at home leg workout I’ve tried.
Video is useful again in February 2021! Gyms closed again here in London. .
Short and to the point. Your videos are the BEST! Thank you!
The bodyweight/lightweight DB sissy squats with heels on a plate have really worked for me lately. Ryan did those in a previous vid. Love it all.
This is pure GOLD...what an unexpected silver lining to the Coronavirus. Thanks dude!
I love the humor you throw in 😂😂
So much you can do with dumbbells. Won’t be missing the gym with those alone💪🏽
God bless you Mr Humiston
I've been watching your videos and it's changed my workouts for the better, i wanted to thank you!!
Still waiting for Ryan to look at the camera and yell

I love you down to earth personality and humor! Thanks for the fitness routine!

Thanks, Ryan!
Hi Ryan! Love the home leg workout! Can you please consider putting together a push/pull home workout soon? Stay safe and healthy!!!👍🏻💪🏻
Thanks from the UK. All gyms in the UK are now closed. We need you. Lovely and simple no wasted time talking drivel. All I have at home is an Olympic dum bell set that I got this week. Could you do a video on a full body work out. Can do every other day.
Glad I found you man! Straight to the point, no time wasted!
Love the workout! Keep them coming! Thank you!
You are the perfect motivation for us guys who just never seemed to make the mind muscle connection in order to get results and keep getting after it. Thanks for the inspiration, brother!
Focused, no nonsense and relevant.
As a seasoned bodybuilder, I must say......that was an awesome video. Respect.
Well as long as we have you Ryan, I believe life will go on!

Awesome Ryan, I like the versatility of your workout routines wether it maybe in the gym or at home. Keep up the great workout videos.
Thanks for this vid. I only have dumb bells at home so needed some ideas for legs. My gym was closed in Perth today for up to 6 months. 😩
EBay has used vinyl weight plates from the 70s and other good used fitness equipment.
So glad I have access to a home gym. Im the only one who uses my apartment complex gym, basically a home gym. I do all the cleaning anyways.
I was looking for a good way to work my legs while the gym was closed and stumbled across this. I felt the burn after a few reps. Thank you!!
Glad I did this routine on a Thursday. Hopefully I'll be back to walking by Monday 😂 Good stuff, plz keep doing home workout routines with dbls! I haven't stepped foot in a gym in 20yrs but have built a hell of one at home, cheers.
Thank you. I need these videos.

YES. ! More at home workouts .. just bought some dumbbells & waiting for them to arrive . I’ll be on the lookout for more of these jailhouse workouts from you
