My name is Jess! I had a daughter (Lilia) at age 18 w/ my high school sweetheart. We mutually split up & co-parent to this day. I met someone new, got married at age 19, had twin boys (Kyson & Kaden) and another son (Landen). He cheated, we split ways, & he’s not around much. After juggling life as a single mom of 4 for some time, I met Chris, he had 2 sons: Caden and Tommy, who eventually became my step sons. After Chris and I got married, we had our 7th child together, Addelyn. IF you haven't installed your drywall yet, consider adding insulation to the interior walls. It will help with sound-proofing, or at the very least insulate the bedroom and bathroom interior walls.

@@cassandrabowen97 Did you not read the words INTERIOR WALLS in my message? The insulation is on the exterior walls which is mainly for climate control. For interior walls its usually optional as the main benefit is noise reduction.

Heres a tip: If you coat the walls with "wallpaper sizing" (goes on like paint), the wallpaper will come down really easily when you want to remove it.
It's really great that your parents new digs are moving along so well. I'm sure they are excited to have some personal space.

For the grooming of your adorable new puppy!
Kind of near where Rise all is now, over the overpass in the James's cafe shopping center. There is a place called "pet palace" and it is ok but they never pick up there phone and one time they forgot to put the collar back on my dog and we went all the way home didn't realize and they didn't call us to like say hey your dogs collar go left behind. Sometimes there do really good other times they don't do as well. And if you do decide to go there pick up your dog right away or they will be scared and in a crate with all the loud noises. i am not saying there bad they just aren't the best lol:) Also this is just my experience other people seem to like it a lot. I have 3 dogs and we get them done for pretty cheap there that is why we keep going back.

I have a black goldendoodle and we brush him every single night! He has the best long hair ever! We get so many compliments on his coat!
I have a mini golden doodle and have had really good luck with the brand ANDIS dog trimmer! It was pricey- but so is getting them groomed so often. I’m able to do what a groomer does with mine and he looks way better as I can keep going shorter and shorter until I like it. I’ve watched tons of videos and have learned a ton. It comforts me knowing the care that my pet is getting.

The mats are preventable in long hair dogs. Idk why you say it’s not. Just brush them. A lot. I had small dogs but they had long hair. And it mats easy. But I brushed them everyday 2 a day.
I have a doodle and we brush him every single night before bed. He has the most beautiful long hair!! It takes time but so worth it!

Get ready for travel soccer, not fun. We live in Connecticut and in one weekend we had a game in New Jersey, New York and Massachusetts just on Saturday and Sunday.
I’ve had a few doodles and regular professional grooming (like every 6 weeks) is so so important. They get matted (like you mentioned) and it’s painful for them 😭
