I saw and thought this too. And then when Boston tells his stories. He has grown up so much since the start of the year. Look at his tan and his muscles on his upper arms. Your kids needed the adventure and Im so glad you took them. I am so proud of you all.
These vlogs are such a breath of fresh air! I have always admired how open and honest you have been about your feelings and your videos have always been so raw and true. When things are tough in life I always try to look into the future and wonder what the lesson will be when I get out of this bad time and I think in a few years you are going to realise that this was such a transformative period of your life and your kids got to see their mum been so open and honest yet so strong and vulnerable. And I had a thought about why your boys are so special: Joel is such a sweet, soft-hearted man, who isn’t obsessed with seeming manly at all. He just tries to be a good person to others and that makes him more manly than some man who think you have to be super macho strong, tough, never show emotions etc. I can see that back in your boys. Bonnie tell joel he must wear disposable gloves when setting the traps the smell from humans will keep the mice from going to the trap.
It's happened to me so it does work on the gloves.

You have received so much good advice. Cat, planting fragrant plants, increasing traffic in the house, plugging all the holes you can. They all work! Just know that if you live in the country, mice will come in. They can even run in the door as you come in and you’ll miss seeing it. I can’t stand the critters - unless you count me standing on a chair when I see one, but I have a husband that jumps in to take care of the situation! Thanks for sharing! 😊
Bonnie I just went through this same problem... setting traps, cleaning EVERYTHING. It's disgusting but it happens give yourself some grace and like with the rest of your life, please don't worry about what people are thinking. So sorry you are dealing with this! We had this issue in our garage because of our dog food. We buy sticky traps in bulk on Amazon and they work better than any trap we've tried. They obviously don't die right away, but it catches them . They just have to be put where pets can't step on them

Hang in there. I know how it feels to have mice in the house. We caught 13 once. But i was impressed to write and ask: " Have u considered having a cat at this time to help with the mice". Just something to think about.
I love the Renpho eye massager. I used to have chronic migraines and I still use them for tired eyes. The air puffs. You may have sold me on the foot massager! It’s a great brand

You have to switch the traps up every so often because they start to figure out how the traps work. Try switching back and forth every week or so between those snap taps and the glue traps. A dot of peanut butter in the center will do it. A little piece of chocolate works as well!

Put fly stickers down in every doorway and along the walls where you found the mice poops. Trust me, you will catch more this way. There's also mice traps that have stickiness they work good too.
Bonnie i think you should get a couple outside cats to help with the mouse/rat prob! They would help to keep them away from the house! I fear yur out there in nowhere that yur gonna have an ongoing prob with them! Sounds like Boston's first day back to school went very well for him! Thanks for sharing! ❌⭕❌⭕
That's a great idea to get outside cats and in the winter.You can always let them go in the garage At night and then leave them out in the morning.
I had a mouse problem similar to yours. I would suggest even after you don't catch any you.Still set traps for a month. And anytime you go out of town in the Future set traps all throughout your house. Then have someone come and check once a week and dispose of any mice and reset the trap. I don't know what it is but when you go out of town they tend to move in😂

Have you thought about putting cameras in the house to see where the mice still are?
Aren’t there like ultrasonic sound emitters or some type of device like that that they don’t like? Put those out around the house and see if that helps keep them away.
My brother, just had to clean a mouse nest out of the tractor. The nest caught fire and melted, bunches of wires, so fun. Check your big toys, before you start them😳
