"No money, no healthcare" sounds like the USA 😂😂😂
tomaitoe in europe we have health care its really good
Exactly. If you are not rich you are screwed.
That's not true
In tbe US the hospital cant lock you in there until your family pays the bill. In Africa it happens.
😂😂😂😂 sis killed me when she started talking about the internet....she said y’all lucky y’all are seeing me today😭😭😭😢
I'm currently a nursing student at a major university, in my hometown. I'm planning on applying for dual citizenship, and I've been researching employment opportunities for nurses in various African countries.
The more I watch videos like yours, the more I'm encouraged to make my home there.
Thanks for sharing!
Most of the negatives have changed in 2018 .I dont remember the last time my electricity went off .Ghana is a developing country ,a lot of things change within 1 year.
Pabby Nana very true... My generator became useless..
This woman is...drop...dead...gorgeous!!!
This is really thought out! I laughed so hard because everything you said is sooo true! Especially the 'does this company even exist?"
So good to see you on you tube again
The struggle is real, I take my hat off to you for your longevity in Ghana 🇬🇭 it no be easy
everything is negotiable, even the rate you exchange dollars. all I can say is don't be scarred.
The best thing abt traveling through out Africa...fabric & getting things made. I even bring my own fabric with me lol.
You are so rigth I'm foreign and I live in Ghana for 5 years now, renting here is really expensive, electricity too and the health care is not too good I loved your video .
haha just got back to the uk last week from Ghana.. i go EVERY year your points are sooo true MONEY RUNS LIKE WATER ...Ghana is lovely but its expensive if you wanna have a GOOD time
This video is so funny! The mosquitos were the worst for me!
I planned to go to Ghana last year but because the Malaria pills lower your hemoglobin and mines was already low, my doctor wouldn’t prescribe them. I’m working on upping my levels so I can come soon. I must come home🤦🏿♀️
electricity en internet were my biggest issues :( . great video
Adedè I have been to Nigeria and noticed that I didn't have problems with the electricity going off. I just forgot to bring my solar battery charger, so had to plan better. And I don't watch tv anyway. Even got used to no running water. Always made sure I had water to flush the toilet. But the internet is the weakest link. for my business I need internet, both wifi and mobile and need to make calls. so the cost are going to be terrible if I need to do those by mobile phone. That and the mosquitos worry me about Ghana. in Nigeria I didn't have any problems with mosquitos.
Adedè electricity and hot water is more important for me
Use solar panels
I'm a network and IT expert I'm gonna have 🇬🇭 looking like high speed 🇯🇵 when we are done
@@elohim660 imagine if Nikola Tesla tech was in Africa?
Love your humor!💛
This was very informative, thank you so much
I hope to watch you more
I love your videos Queen. I'm coming to Ghana in December...I'm so excited. I'll be traveling to Accra and Cape Coast.
Keep the videos coming...
You are hilarious, a short stay in Ghana proved most of what you said right. You look like a sis on IG from Senegal, beautiful.
Very informative!!! Thanks for the information.
love this babe! very informative
Very informative information needed in making the visit or change. Thanks!
Any update on the building project? I have been looking forward to that for a long time. I enjoy your videos and thanks for sharing.
Great video. The other 2 points i want to add is the traffic and pollution in ghana.
Your truthfulness shines like the power of God-given sun. Thank you. ♥️
It's been awhile since I've been to you're channel good video.
Really helpful video, thanks lady.
I love your energy💥 I adore your accent and style. Best wishes love😘
The longer you live in Ghana, the more immune your bloodstream adapts to malaria and the bs of customer service. you just adjust 😂😂😄😄
I love your humor. I am going to binge watch your videos with my sisters after they come from work. You are very insightful and I miss seeing you on YT
+Kay Ess Thanks so much for watching and the support
+The Only Way Is Ghana
Sweetie, I thought you were leaving Ghana for good and going back to London.
Love the video funny 😁 it was also very informative
I sooo agree with you on the Internet part. It's crazy. When I go to Ghana I top up every.single.day.
its not in the way u dress either. ppl just tell by my facial features and skin tone that im not from there. when people approached me thay already knew. friendly people but i just wanted to blend in. my boyfriend made thing more comfortable for me
Im from the US. I visited Jamaica and Bahamas...I know that's not exactly the same but I was baffled about the exchange of currency there and trying to wrap my mind around how people make a living there. How they purchase quality homes there? Do y'all really pay $16 bucks for burger meal at McDonald's?? So when I see these chain homes that are being built up in Ghana...like who is buying these prestigious homes. That's sad that they are spending so much for these homes but not taking care of the people but I guess that happens every where.
Yes it happens all over the world. There will always be rich middle-class and poor
@@susanapollo284 have and have nots by the time covid is done.

your a beautiful women you have supreme and refined dignity and I wish you well
Good holiday love
Excellent overview
THANK YOU...😀
Great video and so true - I spent 2 months in Ghana last year; one month in Kumasi with friends and the bloody dumsor drives you mad! The other month I spent in a remote third world jungle village near Koforidua doing voluntary work - and the dumsor didn't strike even once!
The place is totally corrupt but the people are wonderful; cheerful and friendly and just so happy to come and chat with the obruni. Can't wait to visit again - loved it
Hey, so I really want to take a trip to Ghana with my one year old son in June. I'd like to stay for a month. It's unfortunate because I was looking into volunteer programs but he's too young for the programs.I was trying to find organizations that I could still volunteer at while I'm there, hotels to stay at, places to go and things to do? Do you have any recommendations? I'm kind of nervous traveling alone and not through an organization but I really want to do it!
Tiye Braithwaite you can email me Kboamah123@gmail.com. I can help you plan that
am renting cold only compound. taken some getting use to but I am in it to win it
Wait so things don't come priced, the owner gets to tell you whatever price they want? OMG. That's odd.😓😐
All landlords are entitled to decide how much they charge for their property. Its upto renters to decide how much they want to pay and fibd property for thst amount
Great video, so accurate open and honest, thanks for giving the up side and the down side. If your open to adventure and have courage to experience the unknown. going to live in the Motherland will forever change your life. It's one experience I will cherish for the rest of my life. Fortunately I was already retired and did not have to endure looking to merge back into the western job market. Perhaps younger people like yourself will find the means, skilss and the courage to go and build a new reality for yourselves that will forever free yourselves and our posterity from western domination. Thanks for this upload.
ngonea Do you live in Ghana now?
You are very funny, regards from spain
As a newbie, I love this video! Lol
+Sharna Darko Thanks so much for watching ❤️
Sis, you are HYSTERICAL!!! I love this video!!!😁 Please be my friend, in real life. I love your personality.💗👍
i feel girl ,u are saying the truth
Great video and correct info also , liked the way you bring this lady.......Think you have forgotten one negative point here in Ghana. Get used to NOICE.....from 04am up to midnight and sometimes just day and night.......noice. For funerals , weddings , for no reason at all......Ghanaians like to make a lot of noice. Even just talking on the street , means it's for the WHOLE street to hear. When I first came to Ghana in 2010 early evenings you could hear sometimes a drummer playing some nice music. Today they bring a wall of loudspeakers and blast your ears of......as they don't know how to play music , only bass. I swear , I own a very heavy Dodge pick-up and passing a loudspeakers wall like that my car is shaking from the air precure coming from the bass loudspeakers every time. In time a lot of people here will have ear damage......guaranteed.......Thanks beautiful for the nice video
I love your honesty!!.... I'm watching all your vids to get an idea of what to expect. The malaria shots here NYC is $500 per pill😑.. you need like 4😕, well, all my degrees are from NYC so I guess it'll be alright to return if I want... 😳😳 girl!! Generator for real!! Damn. What about getting work? Is it hard to find?
+Francine Isaro it's not so hard to find work but it is hard to find work at the salary you want or are used to receiving.
Lmao “ internet is expensive, y’all are lucky y’all seeing me today” *jazzy finger pointing” I lost it lmaooo
New Subscriber, you're so funny!
❤️❤️
So beautiful and lively do your thing queen
additionally I have learn to recharge the electrical meter on the pole outside. amoung other things. a valuable skill. lol
Beautiful Sister 🏹🔥👌
Thanks
It's good to see you! Thanks for sharing! Do you have dual citizenship there or a Right to Abode?
Thanks for watching. I have dual citizenship
And I had a family that accommodated me while I was there.very important
total rent for 6 months cold compound 2000 cedi and I must admit. a complete peace of mind.
10 pounds for one tablet, did you get that price in a dream? that is so not true. Malaria drugs are one of the most subsidized drugs in Ghana.
+Obsy King not for the ones people travelling from the UK bring with them.
Are you sure? She sounds like she knows? But yea, I immediately became concerned. what native Ghanaians could afford $11-$12 per pill?
Thanks for the insight
internet. upon landing ng go to MTN. get interne modem to connect 5/devices. never worry again. 100.00
Ron Murray 100 what? dollars?
+Suri Lady 💯
10 pounds for one tablet!!! probably paying that foreign accent tax in addition to the regular price...
You better buddy up with a trustworthy Ghanian when you go shopping and otherwise.
Blk Queen i have a brother there so i am good
wow I have been listening to you since yesterday. Well done. you are an inspiration to all. I decided to go and live in Ghana from the UK in 2013, Oh My God!! Everything you have talked about is what Ghana is. Fortunately or unfortunately for me, in 2016 July, I had to move back to the UK. Thank God! in my case I had a perfect and a well paid job in the UK before I took that decision. I have been here about 3 months already and I am missing the freedom in Ghana. however, I also love the organised nature of the UK, my fresh fruits and salad and having to know that I can really budget. God bless you so much. I will come to Ghana again as my house is waiting for me in East Legon. all the best and stay blessed.
+little einsteins thanks for your kind words. At least you tried, no regrets! Hope you will come back soon. Stay blessed 😇
Thanks for the reply The Only Way Is Ghana. Oh yes no regrets at all. I really learnt a lot. I call my 2.5 years experience in Ghana: 'my Masters Degree Programme' :-). If God permits it, I will be coming on holiday next year. All the best and keep up the good works. At least I will be watching your videos for updates before I come. God Bless!
heheee love it!
Little Eistiens - Do you rent your house? I'm going to Ghana in July, 2018.
Yeah she is right
Can you buy a home instead of renting? What about retirees? Great video!!
Jiji Solomon u can buy. But its Super expensive.. its Better to buy a land and build ur own
I was looking into the right to abode and found the need for a sponsor, is there an agency or something that can set up contacts for sponsorship for the right to abode?
Tariq Bey - you can build relations with someone, get to know them and make sure they are genuine and ask them to sponsor you.
With the negatives , there is a big difference between Accra ( Capital city ,over crowded with poor service and extortion) vs rest of Ghana out side Accra.
Valid point. That’s true
nice video
Very insightful and informative! At first I said ugh, hear go somebody talking negative about Africa again, but the points that were made make alot of sense and awareness is everything. Thank you!
Does the electricity goes off in hotels too?
No most hotels have good generators... But power cuts are rare in Ghana these days
Man that health care is nuts!
Gold very cheap in Ghana???
I know this is a dumb question . But how much is 10 pounds in Amrican dollar's mean?
Google it sis
Y'all are lucky y'all seeing me today 😂
lol
The bottom line, the place is largely and simply a mess. Doing normal things, going about normal business, and access to normal mundane stuff are all struggles. Little order and absolute chaos. Very depressing. Conditions of and in Accra make it an economic island within the space of Ghana. It is as though Accra is a separate country with economic standards dictated by chaos.
Ed MacGee the problem with Africa is greed and leaders with no conscious for the people they are supposed to serve. Individuals have to rip each other off to survive.
It's a dog eat dog world.
But it's our continent where we go go when the west is also tiresome
+Irene Youngheart
My sister, James 3:16 sums up the central problem with our Africa.
All this true
real talk lol about time
live in awoshie among peeps. its all good in the hood and I prefer.
i don't think i wanna go anymore xP
That's unfortunate, because you'll miss out on a great country.
@@greggross8856 nah you Africans need to get your shit together before you try to encourage black people to come to your country.
We dont miss you anyway🤷♂️
Together we can build a beautiful country.
I am. rent for Ghana 2 be with bath. (cold only). can be had for less than 200 month. for full western style with hot. prepare 500. month. all prices here in dollars
Nice and true but Please Accra is not the only city in Ghana and also nobody should think Africa is soo cheap that whatever your earnings u will have the KIND of life one desire, let face reality, even in Europe or outside world one live within your means...above all Africa is Africa❤ 🇬🇭 ...no where cool...xx
My lovely African sister...USA
You can't say that malaria is a negative thing. Its a "natural disaster"
i hear ya on da job thing
Are u single?
Hey Beautiful Sister!
8 is not true, there are quality second hand cloth locally called bend down boutique wch is very cheap
Don't think I could deal with the lack of being able to budget. The control freak in me would be to stressed out. :/
Wow.....Make up in the dark...I want to see your after-look
BTW. I am on my own. no NGO. strictly tourist and going for it
Hey Ron, I will back in Ghana this coming February. We should have a beer. This year will be my 7th trip to Ghana, love it...btw I have a couple videos of Ghana on my channel. Cheers!
tetekofa np
is she from the uk or from brooklyn ?
Completely British
Take up a collection for solar panels
moving to africa you go to build! you can provides goods and service and make money. folks charge big rent bc someone pays!
build housing and clean up.
No you Africans need to clean up your own country before you try to get black people to come to your country.
