Sorry, I normally watch the adverts but I flicked it as soon as a I could. Mine was about the election we’re having next week and I’m over, over, over it already!
Russell Hobbs! The Canadian Aunt who started the family using those electric kettles gave Russell Hobbs & that's what Mom & Grandma called them most of the time Ad for Wyndam Hotels
I've always called it a hot water kettle or an electric kettle. My parents are originally from Maine but moved to Nova Scotia, Canada in the mid-seventies, and I remember we had electric kettles back then, and all our American friends and relatives would ask us to bring them an electric kettle when we came down to Maine to visit.
We are a Canadian - German couple living in Germany and for us that is a kettle. We personally find the price for the accomodation outrageous! 😳 We have been so many times to Florida, all sorts of areas since we are also cruising a lot, but never ever would we pay that much! We also want to live a certain standard, but that is way too much for our liking. And by the way : we prefer walk in showers! 😉
Growing up in the northeast USA, I was raised that something similar was called a "tea kettle". It had to be heated on a stove top burner, and it would make a whistling sound when the water was warm enough to brew a tea bag. That style being electric, would probably be called "an electric kettle".
Love the view from this apartment, here in England we call that a "kettle",looking forward to seeing your next cruise vlog and i loved your book,i had it gifted to me at christmas, very enjoyable...
I have learned from watching UA-cam that it is a kettle. Always stay in Brickell when in Miami...very nice and safe but expensive. Last time I was in Miami was 03/20 and I need to go back (maybe a TA next year). Just finished your book and really enjoyed it...waiting for volume 2. Oh and enjoyed your cameo on Chris Wong's vlog.
Electric teapot or kettle, nice because faster than the stove (maybe you say hobb?) and can also be used as the teapot; usually one can set it on table and have table be protected from bottom as part of what plugs into the base is some form of protected and not hot material....thanks for sharing your trip and pre-apartment type hotel.....wow what a nice part of the vacation.
The apartment looks amazing! I will keep it in mind if we ever get that way. We call that a kettle. Got an ad for Bonvoy Marriott. They don't need to advertise to me. First I'm a former employee. Second I have had two trips in March and both times at a Marriott property. "Just look at the credit card. Did I stay with anyone else!?!? Oh wait I did! 🤭 One night. No Marriotts in Bath England.... yet.
In smaller-town Florida, you can find lots of cheaper hotels but not in Miami. We stayed in Miami about a month ago, one night pre-cruise, at a hotel, not all that far from where you are. One decent sized hotel room, none of the room and doo-dads that you have, and paid about the same.
Another fantastic video. I was lucky and didn't get an ad this time. I would call it an electric kettle, but here in the North Carolina mountains we mostly would have a tea kettle that heats up on the stove. I love your honesty about butt sweat! Lol. I agree that the owner needs to replace the out of date tub. The control pad looks disgusting. For the price , it is a very nice place. How long does it take to reach the port from there? I am looking forward to your 12 day journey. Your videos are always honest, fresh and visually stunning. See you next week.
We'll be staying in an airbnb in the thin (perspective wise) high rise in your vid next month before our cruise. 😀 ((@ 2:16 )) At close to ground level unfortunately.
Hey Morgan, that apartment is almost the same size of all the timeshares we stay at when we go on a week-long vacation. Most of our resorts are in 2 bedroom/2 full bathroom units so they are huge. With a nice pool area, full kitchen with dining room, laundry machines, and fully stocked kitchen (plates, etc), we go shopping for breakfast and lunch, then dinners out. We aren't night owls and this is partly why we haven't taken another cruise in over 15 years! I call that device a kettle for boiling water -- but we usually just microwave a big measuring cup instead because it's faster. Final thought: our 2 BR/2 BA timeshare rentals are usually only $265/week! Yes!! The entire week. Because we own a timeshare and exchange it for other locations.
We call it a Kettle ( in dutch water koker) the view is Breathtaking ( not good with heights ) but i could sit by the window watch outside with a cup of tea😜. The pool area looks stunning . Ad Pickwick tea & Nivea .
I call it a kettle. I have one and love the heck out of it. I got a Verizon commercial. It picked up on my search for a new cell provider. I also got an Emirates commercial. I wish!
It's a Kettle. An electric kettle.... 32nd floor, Tracey wouldn't go near that balcony. Fish heads, fish heads, rolly poly fish heads.... Not crazy about the avant garde magic marker phone on the wall.. Designs I guess. My commercial was for Hilton. That hilarious one with the Mom in virtual glasses. I'd be watching those yachts all day. I think the Sunrail is now attached to Orlando. It's in Miami. That price for 3 days is actually on the low side. Great video Morgan.
In my experience, throughout the U.K., Canada, Australia, S. Africa, and India the questionable appliance is a kettle (in this case an electric one). I have never heard any of the other terms which you mentioned used in my 70 yrs, but undoubtedly there are different terms and translations elsewhere in the world.
Great find for your stay - for high season and such a lovely unit it was a good price (hotels in the area would be as expensive without the kitchenette and amenities). That is a kettle - though as a kid we had the whistling kettle that went on the stove.
I'd call that an electric kettle.. i spit my coffee out when i laughed out loud at the fish head "what the fu...." . I had a commercial for a Mazda MX-50
Morgan - your hair is looking SO great!!! Also - your new 360 camera - is that what Vloggers are using to create the ‘drone’ look when they are standing on their ship balcony, but somehow, have a photo that appears to be a drone outside of their balcony (drones are not allowed on ship - I think - so I’m so curious how the vloggers are getting this effect). Love everything you create for all of us!! Thank you!
Tea pot. My wife says kettle. Regardless, boils water. Nice video. Not my style as I would much rather see water then city. Also when in Miami, I like to be close to the outdoor mall (forget the name) but it is nice for walking, shopping, people watching and eating. Thanks for the video.
I would never stay there. Yes, it's very pretty but the view sucks. Not to mention the cost is crazy, I could go on a bunch of cruises for that price, plus I don't want to look at a bunch of concrete, I rather have a view of the water. I live in California and before I leave on my cruise, I love to stay on my favorite ship, The Queen Mary, She is so beautiful not to mention she has ghosts lol. and is right across from the ship I will be cruising on Hope you had a wonderful time.
I've always called it a kettle.
It an electric kettle - kettle for short…water cooker! Omg I’m wheezing from laughing. That’s the most amusing thing I’ve heard all day.
Sorry, I normally watch the adverts but I flicked it as soon as a I could. Mine was about the election we’re having next week and I’m over, over, over it already!

It's a Kettle, an Electric Kettle. Looks like a good room with a decent view.
I call it a kettle. And yes, I would pay that price, it's cheaper than most hotel rooms, and has more amenities and a better view.
We are a Canadian - German couple living in Germany and for us that is a kettle.

Give me a tip, please! Where do you usually stay and how much does it cost?
I think the little beige puff in the middle of the two seat puffs was meant to be a "table" LOL
Canadian here - it's an electric kettle!
Coffee maker, kettle and last, a pop tart oven.

It’s a kettle. Commercial for Disney World resort hotels. And it’s the Brightline higher speed rail that’s being extended to Orlando.
I'm Canadian, and that's a kettle!
In Florida we call it a kettle. Well, at least in our house here in Florida we call ours a kettle. 😁
It's a kettle. Specifically a tea kettle.

In Australia, we call it an electric kettle or electric jug.
For me the small balcony would not be a problem. Having a fear of heights, I would NEVER go out there!
I’m from the Uk, it’s always called a kettle whether it’s on a stove or electric, just kettle !! 😂
In the south we call it a "tea kettle" used to heat water to make iced tea! Wyndham ad!
I would call that a kettle or “the jug” and in “can you please boil the jug/kettle?”
Kettle , or hot water pot. All my commercials have been for cruises lately.

The port is really close. It only took about 8 minutes to get over there... and then we waited maybe 10 minutes in the traffic jam at the port!
We'll be staying in an airbnb in the thin (perspective wise) high rise in your vid next month before our cruise. 😀 ((@ 2:16 )) At close to ground level unfortunately.
It's a great location!

Kettle = "Wasserkocher" in German :-)
I agree with you about staying high up. We always try to get the top floor even if it’s just a few levels up. It does feel luxurious.

Great price for Brickell especially so I’d book an extra day pre-cruise if the room is in top condition 😂
Looks like a nice place to stay, but $$$. 💵 My commercial was for some sort of mental health counseling. Are you trying to tell me something?🤯😂
No, we would definitely NOT pay $260 a night for this view! It is fabulous, though.
