What you said about a colada I am with you 100 percent. I live In Miami also and I frequently drink a colada by myself with no little cups. Who needs cups when you are drinking for one.
I was there last week. It was a fantastic tour. We stayed at Margaritaville spa/resort in Hollywood Florida. We took Lyft to Little Havana and went on the food walking tour. Our tour guide was Miguel. We had an awesome time. No one is social distancing in Florida. People are enjoying their lives! I loved it!
I am Haitian living in Little Havana, right on Calle Ocho(8th Street). Haiti and Cuba, Two nations whose food have been blessed by God. My only advice is to park your car and tour by walking from one end of the street to the other (between 10th and 19th Avenue). If you don't have much cash, focus on the food and avoir clothes and trinkets. Taste as many variety as you can. Split a dish/finger food with friends so you can order and taste more different dishes. Enjoy!
I'm spending a couple of days in Miami after a cruise and I plan to eat and dance through Little Havana the whole time! I will start with the Food Tour & I can't wait!!
Looks fantastic. You've inspired me to find authentic Latin restaurants in my own city 🏙️ since I'm not comfortable traveling right now. These videos are my way of traveling these days, so thank you.
David there is Ethiopian food, Nigerian, Bahamian, Trinidadian, Jamaican, South African, Haitian. Wow a tour that our city of food your should introduce.
I'm headed to little Havana may 6th and I am watching your videos to see where all the good food is I cant wait to get down there and try that Cuban sandwich
i was born in Florida and life moved me to colorado; got stuck there, but i tell these guys here how any small restaurant in miami can beat any old run down restaurant in colorado.. Colorado and its people think theyre ALL THAT...but fear to admit the truth..thank you for PROOVING THIS
Thank you for the tour!!! I live in Miami and will be visiting Calle 8 more often! Haven’t been to any of these restaurants and I can’t wait to visit!!
🤩 Thank you very much for taking the time to visit us and share your Churromania Experience with all of us! We’re so glad you enjoyed our delicious CrispyMania with cinnamon sugar, it’s definitely an irresistible combination of flavors. 🌟 We look forward to welcoming you back soon😉
Hello David we hope all is well and that you are staying safe. we tried to book a vacation to the states but we can't even leave the Uk or stay anywhere in the UK as the Hotels and B&Bs are not open until the 17th of may and even then were are not sure what travel is going to be like. we just want to get away. thank you for sharing this with us. stay safe Love and Light Sarah and Glenn
Crazy! Being Cuban I take our food for granted cause I was raised on it, but honestly… it is delicious! Btw… idk how you ate all that is such little time… there is a saying my family has always said when someone eats a lot in a short time “según come el mulo, ca-a el c-lo” (had to block out the words!) 😂🤣 Great video!!!!
The LaFruteria is on W. Dixie Highway, while the other places r on 8th St. From 8th St, can we walk to the LaFruteria for pressed sugarcane juice? We're going to do this 4 my daughter 's BD.
Wow, David that was a lot of sugar. Though everything looked delicious. Next time i visit my sister who lives in Miami I'll ask her to take me to little Havana.
David what was the name of the place you said was your fav Cuban Sandwich. I live here in Doral retired military. I love finding the local spots. My fav is mexican food but all food is good food!!!
I'm going to Miami in a few days and your videos are by far the best and most informational videos on food in the area! Thank you and I'm going to watch the rest of your videos on Miami before I leave!
I love a sandwich that you can barely fit in your mouth because there's so much stuff on it. The bread should not be the main thing on a sandwich. Love from Korea🇰🇷💕
Does anyone know how to get to calle ocho by bus (from south beach). I know i need the 120 to get off the island but then i get confused which bus to take and where to make the connection downtown. I think its the 120 to get off the island and get on/off the 207 at NW 1 AV & NW 1 ST.
I tend not to like it when some someone says "Everyone knows when you are not local" when you do something a little different, like if you don't pour your larger Cuban coffee into tiny plastic shot glasses. To each their own. Embrace differences, and definitely embrace local habits and culture, but that 'everyone knows' thing is not cool. Local pride is wonderful, but sometimes can be overbearingly specific about being 'correct'. David is certainly a Miami local and he knows all of these things already. Just enjoy!

That's It! I've had it with this social distance isolation. I'm packing my bags and going to Miami for a food tour. 🌅
Jaja yea here we still social distance but we are a lot more open!

Leaving to Miami next week . Any top places you recommend me to try in Little Havana that you love
15:06 Nah, she's wrong. Instead of donuts in Miami, we don't bring Picadillo Empanadas, instead, we bring Cuban Pastelitos to a morning office meeting, breakfast, etc ...- baked phyllo pastries filled with either... sweet guava paste, ground beef, cream cheese, sweet coconut, etc....
Süper David
I like Ur shoes
