I forgot to clear things up in the beginning for all the new viewers, but to clarify:
🟠Goat- (middle guy/me) almost caught up anime only. Fav anime
🔴drip- (left) caught up with the manga and still hates on op and thinks demon slayers better
⚫️kev- (right) seen like 15+ episodes and hates and says its too long and thinks demon slayers better
Being up to date with the manga and still hating is wild 😂😂 Generational hater right there
I can understand kev if right know at 15 episodes he thinks demon slayer is better, the first 15 episodes of one piece and the first 15 of demon salyer are different, one is already into action, the other is only a set up, a prologue to a better story, and also the animation is a big part for someone to start to watch a show, becuase one piece animation in 1999 is obviously outdated.
But the guy in the left, how can you say you are caught up to the manga and thinks demon salyer is better, HOW? the story is on a different level, the caracthers and the side characters, their relationship, their story, even the main character, the world building (world building is not only geography, but the politic, nations and their relationship) and the themes: demon slayer can never be better than one piece.
Especially now in manga, HOW can you think demon slayer is better when we are seeing everything right now in the manga?

Dragonball's universe is not detailed at all. One Piece is so well detailed it can only ever be compared to Tolkien's work

If you watch an Anime to compare it with your favourite anime i feel sorry that you missing alot, saying that dragon ball z world building is better than One Piece got to be the most delusional thing i ever heard, One Piece got to be the most detailed world building ever and its a fact, everytime i introduce someone to the one piece i tell them to watch it till the end of Arlong Park if you those 50 episodes didn't stuck with you then drop it, 50 episodes should tell you what the One Piece is about.
I agree with u until the 50 eps part. We don’t know about the one piece like that in the first 50. Arlong isn’t the peak, there’s many arcs WAYY better

@Newsboy100 Arlong park has world issue, racism, slavery, discrimination, censorship, government corruption, and friendship at the end, Arlong park is where most of One piece fans including me turn from liking the anime to love it that's why I said Arlong park is enough to tell you what One piece is.
Took me 37 episodes. The moment Nami asked Luffy for help I knew I had to see this story to the end
arlong park is alright in itself, but it just gets better and better because the world building and story is so believable and great. Looking back, stuff around episode 300,400 is thousand times better than episode 1-50 and back then it was already #1 for me. But looking back from now this was also nothing compared to what it is today. Its just a constat rising curve of greatness. The first 150 episodes, even the first 300 dont really speak for this show as a whole

I agree with everything but recently the fights in one piece can easily hang with dbz fights. Some are even better💯 but overall dbz has better fights for the amount of episodes there are

Fighting it's one-piece and it's not even close. The only thing Dragonball better is nostalgia since it's my fav anime in the 90s and early 2000s
@@TheDemonSlayers Guessing y'all haven't gotten very far but some fights in One Piece are absolutely mind blowing. That setting you saw with the ice on one side and lava on the other? The result of a fight. Also just how creative with devil fruit powers some fights can be extremely entertaining beyond just screams and power-ups.

Demon slayer in my opinion is very very good especially the anime. But bro... one piece is not comparable. Its better. Like by far.
The main difference between the dragon ball world and the op world is the db world has a lot of concepts introduced but aren't nearly as fleshed out as they could be to make ppl actually care for or remember anything about them other than the fact that they exist just for the sake of making the world seem big
Ops world has locations and concepts that are fleshed out each arc whether it be how the nations governs its ppl, their culture, how they feel about the government/pirates, how they make an impact on the world after the strawhats leave or just learning the science behind how the special islands in the world even function, the detail between the world's is like night and day.
For example as bro said in the video there's 12 universes in the db world but we haven't seen a single thing about the other universes at all, even universe 6 which is supposed to be the most similar to uni7 gets little to no limelight on how its world works, even the description about the saiyans was brief and was a few sentences + we didn't get to see anything with our own eyes, same with universe u11, then every other universe is just filled with fodder characters that nobody gives a damn about or where they come from
so db is basically just a bag of chips but 75% of the bag is filled with air and the other 25% is U7 💀

As a hardcore Dragonball and One Piece fan they both are goats. Remember One Piece doesn't happen without the brilliance of Toriyama. We love both out here and they both offer different things to satisfy our needs in an anime. IMO they both are the goats of shonen in different ways.

Nah Oda has no influence from Toriyama at all. He has a completely different outlook on shonen, a master at work, he and one piece is a league apart.

Dragonball was amazing for it's time, but the tier 3 simping is lowkey cringe. especially when calling Goku and Luffy as the same person. hell to the naw, man. Luffy wouldnt put everybody he cares about at risk, to fight somebody, Goku would willingly endanger his own child. also Luffy came up with all his techniques, Goku either mimicked Roshi or he was taught by someone. and that's another thing, all Goku cares about is fighting. Luffy cares about way more than that. now where they would possibly match is in tenacity and in appetite.
