Still on that Crocodile vs Gaara shit? 😂Even the biggest Naruto nerd will tell you straight up Gaara loses, Gaara merely adopted the sand, Crocodile is the sand.
@Rage Kage everyone also forgets crocodiles most terrifying ability, to touch and drain the moisture from the target, pretty much instant kill. Also people that say croc is not strong cause he lost to pre gear luffy, they seem to forget croc beat luffy 2 times before luffy beat him once, also if luffy can get stronger so can croc.
@Rage Kage i see croc in a weird light, and yes he was to powerful to be the first main antagonist, and i think he was written complacent with his position, but his lost made him want to be stronger. Also i treat croc like a pokemon, Df weakness is sea water but crocs weakens is water, so he takes x4 damage from water instead of x2.

@@lutziify That's not how that works, Gaara has to infuse his chakra into sand in order to control it, he can't just start manipulating sand off rip like Crocodile, and Crocodile can infinitely spawn and control sand, for every grain Gaara can control Crocodile can produce a million more grains of sand and control it all with ease, he can do everything Gaara can do without even moving a finger meanwhile Gaara has to do 15 hand signs to produce a single strong attack.
Actually, I feel Crocodile is the worst enemy for Gaara. Gaara relies on sand to do both his offence and defense. Without the sand, he is quite vulnerable. Crocodile IS sand. That means that Croc can become the main weapon of Gaara. He basically can steal all of Gaara sand that is in the gourd. When Gaara raises his sand wall to defend himself, Croc can become the sandwall itself and attack Gaara from the wall. And most of all, Gaara always leaves a thin layer of sand as a protective armor. Since anything that Croc touches can be instantly dessicated into a fossil, Croc can immediately become the sand armor on Gaara and because it is in contact with Gaara's entire body, can easily turn him into a fossil. Croc to Gaara is like Luffy to Enel.
The Naruto characters that Croc would have difficulty with are the water jutsu ninjas. Someone like Kisame would be able to fight him a lot easier due to his water release abilities. So it is not like Croc would be invincible in the Naruto universe. There would be a lot of people he may have problems with, just like he would have problems with Jimbe.
If Crocodile IS sand, does that not mean Gaara can take over him and use him as a tool? Just a question.
@@ggggg744 I do not think so. Not only is he the element of sand but can control all of sand. He can make huge sandstorms that rage across the deserts, he can create very sharp blades by solidifying the sand and he can transfer himself into any sand there is. This last part is what I feel makes him such a difficult opponent for Gara. Crocodile can not only manipulate every weapon, shield Gara makes but also Gara would not be able to hurt him since attacks like desert coffin would do nothing to crocodile. Even a katana strike would not do anything to him since he can just disperse as sand. Croc's kryptonite is water however as coating him with water would temporarily bring him back to normal. So water jutsu ninjas would be a major problem for Croc.
@@ggggg744 Also though Crocodile is an logia type warrior (elemental type), he would still be psychologically susceptive to mental attacks. So Sharingan attacks would probably work against Crocodile.
@@jayaniceday3602 i think u have the idea kinda backwards. see, gaara's ability isnt sand powers, its magnetism. gaara uses the magnetism to manipulate the sand to fight and defend himself. so since crocodile is literally made of sand, gaara would be in full control of crocodiles body because of the magnetism, meaning crocodile couldn't maneuver in any way to attack or defend himself from gaara.
@@johnrebelet5754 Actually this makes Gaara even more susceptible IF he adheres to only using sand as his weapon rather than usual ferrous metals like Magneto or Kidd in One Piece does. Most sand is just Silica so it is weakly magnetic at best. Only sand that has strong magnetic properties would get under his control which is few compared to weakly magnetic sand. This leaves most of the weak to non magnetic sand at Croc's disposal.
TBH, I am not sure why Gaara does not use magnetism the way Magneto does. It would be easier for Gaara to kill by ripping the iron red blood cells out of a person's body rather than to use metallic sand. He would also be able to control all metallic weapons. In a fight, he would not have to rely on his gourd but rather just use the natural magnetic material around a battlefield to fight. His gourd would be his last resort.

Sanji wasn't a supernova at the time, and he still isn't. To have the title of Supernova, one must make it across the first half of the grandline within a year or less and have also gotten their bounty to at least 100 million. By the time Sanji got his bounty that high, the crew weren't rookies anymore.
also zoro isnt the only supernova without a devil fruit killer doesnt either atleast when he is introduced and the smile fruit didnt really do anything
I've seen both naruto and one piece and I just say saying haki wouldn't transfer to another universe would be the same as saying chakra wouldn't transfer over to one piece world so gaara in turn wouldn't be able to control sand. Keep in mind in one piece Devil fruit users don't have chakra they can keep using their devil fruit powers only stopped by haki and seawater or seastone.
In the case of Gaara vs Croco they both control sand but gaara isn't sand he uses sand to make clones and such but he himself isn't sand because he still gets hurt by rock lees fist. Crocodile if you hit him your fist will just go through him. It's that simple gaara would not be beating him unless he was smart enough to use water.

@@TheDemonSlayers Look back to the scene where he was getting attacked by pirates. Using his hand may be a more direct and effective way, but those pirate were dried out just by the sands wirling around them. That's because Croc is sand itself. He can infuse his essence with the sand around him.

Fan of both Naruto and One Piece here. Love them both, I'm gonna weigh in on Gaara vs Crocodile.
Firstly, IF Gaara knew of Crocodile's weakness to water and had time to prepare, a fight between them would be weighted more towards Gaara. That's not to say he'd win automatically - even when being punched to shit by Luffy, Crocodile put up a fight and he used the environment and poison tricks to his advantage. Gaara, being a shinobi, should be able to at least dodge any attempts at poisoning, though it's up in the air whether knowing about Crocodile's abilities would give him an upper hand or not since just knowing about something doesn't mean you can change the outcome. It's just more likely. Gaara has speed and a lot of stamina on his side, as well as chakra. His control over sand would, unfortunately, not work out for him in any fight - premeditated or not - against Crocodile, though.
Without foreknowledge? No hope. Not knowing about Crocodile's weakness would leave him unable to actually harm Crocodile in any way. Crocodile is sand itself. Gaara has to imbue the sand with his chakra in order to control it, and unfortunately for him, he has a cap as to the amount of chakra he has at his disposal - which Crocodile does not need and has no cap of. Even in an environment without sand, he'd lose, as Crocodile can create his own sand as shown when he dried up the palace.
For Gaara to beat Crocodile he would need to do the following:
- start in a sandless environment
- not use his own sand at all (it would become fodder for Crocodile to use against him, even with his control over it Crocodile could at least stall him out with trying to push/pull control)
- have water enough on hand to drench Crocodile
- hit hard and fast once Crocodile is wet (even then, just getting him wet only allows him to be hit - he can still fight back and he's a canny fighter)
- throw him in the ocean somehow
Ideal scenario for Gaara would be getting him wet then punting him into a nearby body of water - but that would only work if he KNOWS Crocodile's weaknesses. A sneak attack would work best, with planning. Unfortunately, while sneak attacks and planning are in the kit for shinobi, not quite so for most Naruto ninja, especially those of Naruto's generation and doubly so for jinchuriki.

here is the biggest difference for me. Gaara has a limit to the amount of sand he can control, and the weight matters. (Show especially in the fight against madara) Crocodile Is sand itself, controls and can generate sand. It wouldn't make sense to argue that Gaara can control Crocodile as much as it is hard to argue Crocodile can control gaara's sand. There is no real way to gauge how strong either's control would be in battle. but i know this One can tire out from controlling sand and has a limited to how much he can properly control. Crocodile has never shown such limits. Crocodile would also be immune to any attack gaara throws at him as pretty much all of gaara's are sand based. And no if you argue that Chakra can hurt logia's just so you can nerf one of the major advantages of a character then we can give the same to crocodile and say that crocodile can control all of gaara's sand even the armor he has and use that kill him instantly the end. Not really fair or interesting. There is already a way for Gaara to win and that is to use any kind of water and just hit crocodile hard.
just these 3 facts alone prove crocodile beats garra
1.gaara is a human that controls sand via with his Chakra, crocodile is sand itself and can generate an unlimited amount of sand.
2. Garra would have to infuse his chakra into crocodile somehow to control his body, but crocodile can also control sand so at that point You'd have to argue how gaara would have more control over crocodile than crocodile has over his own body? Even then crocodile could just dispel the Chakra from his body cuz he's sand itself and could seperate and reform.
3.garra doesn't have a single attack capable of harming crocodile, u can't hurt sand with sand and he doesn't have any water jutsu's, but crocodile can hurt gaara cuz he's still human, also if crocodile grabs gaara all his moisture is gonna get absorbed.
Crocodile has the advantage in every single possible way.

The cap in Gaara argument is next level. They kept on saying Gaara had become stronger in Shippuden as if Croco does not develop and become stronger over time too. Both grew as a fighter. Gaara might only have the speed advantage, but everything else goes to Crocodile. From strength to intelligence and just overall destructibility. bounties aren't based on how strong a character is, its based off of how much of a threat they are towards the world government. mihawk has a high bounty because he's part of cross guild, where they're putting bounties on marines. katakuri follows big mom's orders which means he's not actively going after the marines/world government, meaning he's not as much of a threat to the wg as mihawk is

Gaara has to infuse chakra into his sand to control it. He can only control the sand in his gourd because it's infused with his chakra. He cannot control crocodile because he is sand nor can he touch crocodile without haki. Crocodile laughs and puffs on his cigar while Gaara does nothing to him 😂
Deidara beat Gaara by merging his explosive clay with Gaara's sand shield, thus circumventing his defenses. Crocodile could merge HIMSELF with Gaara's sand shield, completely negating Gaara's defense.

Gara infuses sand with his chakra to move it around, Crocodile becomes the sand and just moves. Crocodile probably has greater control for moving the sand, but Gara could probably use genjutsi on Crocodile very easily, meaning Crocodile would absolutely overpower Gara in a fight but Gara wouldn't even actually be in the fight because of genjutsu. It would be a stalemate unless Gara or Crocodile got back up. Gara would need someone with water based teqniques but crocodile would be getting backed up by the real co-founder of cross guild and at that point no one below kage is gonna survive that encounter.

A lot of Naruto fans don’t understand just how fast one piece characters are, they all just use the same argument ‘bUt NiNjA aRe FaStEr ThAn PiRaTeS’ Luffy, in SKYPIEA, was lightning+ (Enel, who has a BASE SPEED of lightning due to his Goro Goro No Mi, was outsped by Luffy and claimed he was moving too fast for him), if Luffy was lightning+ way before the timeskip, imagine the speeds of all the other characters.

He will eventually suffer casualty (dried hand) but he definitly can fight Crocodile if he can perform a low level suiton (which he should be capable of?) the question is will he have time ? Maybe if Crocodile is arrogant.
About sand control, we don't know how it will work for both of them, is the sand gonna be "blocked" if they try to control it at the same time ?
The advantage goes for Crocodile of course but don't forget Gaara is a ninja with clones and substitution and seals.
Croc at this time would be proficient with Haki so he would know which is clone is Gaara and he could find Gaara even when he performs subsitution.
Gaara's fuin jutsu's are sand based which won't work on Crocodile because he can slip through like it was regular sand he can only be drenched if he is caught of guard and that is only a second because he can still drain the water dry.
And finaly Gaara never learned any water Jutsu's because he so reliant on his sand.

Gaara cannot control Crocodile. I don't know where anyone is getting that information from but that is completely false. If you want to hit Croc, then use Haki or Water. Gaara doesn't use water. Gaara has Wind, Earth and Lightning release. He gains Magnetic release through Shukaku because that is Shukaku's main element just like 4 Tails(Son Goku) uses Lava or 5 Tails uses Steam. You cannot force a logia user to bend to your will or through your own energy system just because you control the same element. Thats like saying Natsu can control Ace just because Natsu can control multiple types of magical fire. Logias are an infinite source of their specific element. They have two different systems of energy already which are Haki and Chakra. Gaara doesn't have Haki, so he would need water or to use his own blood to help himself against Crocodile. It would be a very close fight but none of the sand attacks that Gaara has are going to work on Crocodile. Also, Gaara relies on Chakra to control sand, Croc does not rely on anything which means that he can throw attacks forever if he wishes. If I was Gaara, I wouldn't even bother trying to seal Croc because his sealing jutsus require sand and Croc could instantly move the sealing tags or disrupt the formation of the sand sealing jutsus to prevent himself from being sealed. Doing things like Sand Armor, Sand Tsunami, Sand Burial, Sand Shower and others would be pointless. I'll even give an example, Luffy stood up to the 3 admirals in Marineford and threw a Mast from a ship at them but Aokiji froze it with his ice and sent it back at Luffy. Luffy then kicks the mast with Gatling Stomp back at them but the mast just goes through all 3 of their bodies and does no damage. Even the same element that Aokiji created got sent back at Aokiji and didn't hurt him. Now if you wanted to create a death battle between Gaara and Crocodile that equalizes energies, then yes Gaara can hit him but if we're going based on how they are as is, then No.
