- Hey ya'll hey this was my first trip to New Orleans last April for my moms bday. Working on getting all these trips out of my gallery. I flew from Mexico to Orlando and from Orlando to New Orleans on the same day. Check out the Vertical Marte for late night bites. We stayed at Homewood Suites. We booked the Taste of Nawlins tour through Groupon and our tour guide was very knowledgeable and great. We had dinner at Meril WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. We visited Nice Guys Nola I would highly recommend the food was amazing but it is expensive! We booked a distillery tour of groups which included a free bottle of alcohol. We visited the famous Sazerac house which was beautiful. We checked out Juvie Tuesdays which is hosted by Juvenile.
