2 best Norman’s Guests, 2 Kings of Modern blues, all you’re missing is kingfish
That guy is too heavy for these bar stools lol
Kingfish has done nothing new !
Yes Kingfish, And Joe, and Eric, and Chris, and that young man from South Carolina who’s name escapes me. Anybody? Stay Blue y’all, shouldn’t be too difficult these days. Lol! Wooo!!!
@@ayushmanbhalla8737 The Blues is eternal ya ol hotdog you!!😂 Wooo!!!
@@ayushmanbhalla8737 blues players take what is old, and bring it to life by making it feel new. It’s not about doing anything new it’s about finding your voice while paying respect to those who came before you. King Fish is a walking breathing piece of history, thank god he keeps the torch shining high and bright
Saw Kirk Fletcher's name, stopped what I was doing and turned on the video! Great Jam, thanks!
Kirk is a serious blues guy! Love his playing.
Whenever I see them, I’m clicking immediately. I’ve never seen someone so happy to play guitar like Kirk. Always a smile. Thank you Norm..
Two guys that play free of those SRV influences that you see infecting every damn player today. It is a joy!
Mate what’s wrong with SRV influences ?:)
Josh Smith literally did SRV covers for years in his early days and said he was his biggest influence as a kid.
@@bigben3089 yup. Mine was Mickey Mouse. Thank god I didn’t stayed at that level! I am joking of course but I hope you get my point 👍
Kirk Fletcher is a perfect example of tone coming from the hands. And what a tone it is!
The best video uploaded to UA-cam today...I promise! Fantastic playing guys!
Was ok, Teles sounded a bit thin for me
Thanks Norman and especially Josh and Kirk
These two read each other so well! Always love watching them jam.
Joe, Josh and Kirk are the three best guitarist of modern blues. What a joy it is to hear and watch them play! Norm needs to get all three in the same video.
MadDogsBlues look up Chris Cain, he is amazing
@@Sargeslide I just watched him with Kirk Fletcher. WOW!
Seriously, someone has to get these two to do an album together.
two of my favorite current guitar players. Rhythm chops for DAYS!!
Well that just made my day ! Thanks Josh,Kirk, and Norm ! You too Jen ! :-)
These two gents are just so humbling.. wow bloody wee.. bloody great humans! Ps.. Norm.. what a great store man🥵
Recently got into Kirk Fletcher. Now, I have to add Josh on the list. Thanks, Norm!! 😉
These 2 guys are simply wonderful.
2 of the very best.
Yes, made me smile.
👑👑👑 | Kirk Fletcher is the man !!
So much fire here with a smile!!!
Now these guys can GROOVE!
These two ARE actually the best. Love them.
I just love hearing Kirk and Josh together. And besides that they are both awesome guitar players they also seem to be nice and easy going guys 👍
That was really nice all good people for sure!!!!
Does not get better than that. Consummate. Instantly favourited. Thanks for this great upload, and well done fellas - the blues is in the best hands.
So glad to see these guys back on here! They are great!
In 1966 I bought a similar 50's Fender Esquire with a brown cardboard case for $35 when I was 15 years old and paid for it by delivering newspapers. It was that transparent blonde, white pickguard and maple neck. I played it for a year or so. I was walking home by the local hardware store and got me a can of blue spray paint. Yes, I painted the body blue and many years later realized that I will be going to Hell because of this.
At least you didn't sell it. You didn't sell it right ?
In 1965 I bought a 50's Esquire ( looked just like the one Josh is playing) with a 5 watt Princeton amp and tweed case for $125....Joe Bonamassa probably has now
Whoa,these guys are something special...
This is a better performance than most I see on this channel. Very slick.
Great guitars, great players :)
they make me smile too. You can tell they are close
Two guys having a great time jamming! Really enjoyable!!
So great.

So great
Excellent
Blues with some space between the notes! That's my thang: give it some room to breathe and we can enjoy the soul.
Dude. I time travelled with this Jam! Thanks guys
Wow. Just wow
Idk what it is but Kirk makes every guitar he plays sound so meaty....
Talent.
@@mattrogers1946 Right hand
I thought the teles sounded a bit thin for me. Was ok
Fingers baby
Freakin awesome!
nice to hear that Kirk lives in switzerland! ...incredible player!
Every time these two jam it’s gold ! There are a few killer video sessions of these two + Ariel Posen @ nam floating around, I think they were at the collings booth

Kirk & Albert Collins
Love the way of 2 blues master playing ..✊✊🤘🤘👍👍🙏🙏
Wow! Really cool!!!
Josh is my fav player right now
Amazing symmetry.
AMAzing
Tunes start at 3:25 🤙🤙
Grease them chairs, Norm!!
That blonde Telecaster sounds incredible.
They sound great. 👍
These two swing, theyhave always make a drummer, like me, feel totally unnecessary... just beautiful, fun to watch, thanks y'all !
Barry McKinley Boy, you opened yourself right up for sledging there, Banger!! Hahahaha. Like um...you are. Unnecessary, that is! 😉 I'll hand it to the mob from here...... ! *EVERYBODY! YOUR BEST DRUMMER JOKES* please! ... (Let him have it, boys!)
2:52 I saw these two in Bristol. They are killer players!
Jam on!
Saw it was 10 minutes long and was surprised when Norm let them play and wasn't speaking constantly for 9 of them.
That's great.
great chops!
BLUESville 😎
Super nice guys as well as great players. Chris Cain is awesome too. Be nice to see him at Norms!
Kirk has the gr8 right hand.
Oh hell yes
Norman is such a gentleman! And this two guys are always amazing and fun. Some day I will visit this store for sure!
Cheers from Brazil.
great sound!!
Excellent. Both have awesome courses on Truefire
Amazing excellent channel
Some real tasty licks.nicely done.also I love that tele.both guitars sound good but in my opion that tele tone is killer.
SunuvvaB!TCH that was good! This is why I come here. Two masters of their craft, connecting at a fundamental level. I could listen and learn all day.
A música traz muita alegria prá gente
Who else heard BB King in there?
Kenneth Namalomba those tasty licks in the BBKing Box man. Never fail to please the ear
Yes, absolutely. So beautifully done.
You're right, I heard B.B. too
Hey Norm-You were right! Wow......
Sweet as a 🥜
🎶 🎸
Nice!
Kirk sounds like what Robert Cray would sound like if he played a telecaster. Just smooth stinging lines. Awesome
👑 👑
Norm's got a lot of 'Buddies'
I saw on UA-cam these two cats playing with Ariel Posen and it was incredible. Maybe one day they could come toWinnipeg .
Mike Chambers nobody wants to go to Winnipeg :b
Two of my best buddies in the world (sorry I don't even know your name} LOL
I once got the infection from playing my HamAndOrgan too much - now I got the Blues
Put some Robitussin on it....
jeez...Kirk's playing a @5:55 is ridiculous.
Norman, can you send a link with the podcast that you said you do? thanks
Gotta be fun
"Oh, Baby ... if you don't stop messin' 'round ... you'll be somebody else's baby .. instead of mine."
Hey Norm you should record that song for the openning and closing for every youtube episode. Also Norm, you should put together a yearly Blues/Jazz Summer Jam with all this talent you ben giving us for free. I'm sure you could work out something with a local venue. I saw Josh discussing funk rhythm on the "All Guitar Network," killer, can't get enough. Saw Kirk play some stuff on another channel and he kills it also.
Tip top
Yes, I confirm, those guys can play...
Worlds squeekyist stool
