Great video thanks for the upload. I have the exact same dilemma with my garage and the concrete that offsets the installation. May I ask the purpose of the brackets that you added to your rack? Are those added because of missing parts from the manufacturer? Thanks again.

@@BeyondABuild Hey bro, I got mine in and I was wondering does the bracket that hooks to the bracket on the wall have a lot of play after you tighten it up?
The J hooks they send are not the ones in the product pictures. They are cheap and have no bar protector.
@@anthonymartinez887 I have to check mine out... I assembled everything but I'm waiting for help holding it in place while I mark my drill points.... Wifey is maybe too short lol

the biggest thing I've found when installing a wall mounted rack is that the walls of my 30 year old townhouse aren't level. The top of the wall kind of bows out so the rack doesn't actually sit firm on the ground. Working on getting a 1/8" plastic spacer to put under the 2 legs before I do pull ups.
Yeah we ran into alignment issues on our end, we ended up just squaring it all making sure we had enough room for play then installed. But it came out good and holds well!
Now the body and z will get some gains. Sheeeshhhhhhhh

Does the arm bracket and the arm have a big gap when they are bolted together?
No, just same as bottom
Missing parts from proform. I installed to get the harder parts out of the way first then install missing parts when they eventually come in

as i'm looking to purchase one as well! eyeing this one over rogue/prx due to cost
also, im' a big confused on the foldable rack systems .. can you show something on pulling it out and putting it back in. If it's flush to the wall.. will you need to lift up then pull out for it to flush on the floor?

I have this rack as well. The J hooks that come with it are not the ones pictured on the website. The J hooks I received are cheap and don’t have anything to protect the bar. I called customer service and they admitted that the pictured ones are different but will not send anything different or offer any compensation.

It’s a nice rack for the price but I have a big issue with them advertising one thing but delivering something different. The J hooks that come with it are not the ones pictured and now I need to order better ones. I don’t want to use a good bar on all metal flimsy(no pad) j hooks.
