Recently, I read someone's feedback and began applying litleexttra rice berry vitamin c face serum. It's doing well, and I don't have pimples issues anymore. My skin appears better than ever. Occasionally, I also use an besan face pack, which makes it glow even more.

Hi, Susan, could you please provide the study that highlights that gold helps to stabilise vitamin c? I’m sure it’ll put loads of people’s doubts to rest.
Hi there! The gold used with our ascorbic acid is actually part of a complex that also combines glutathione. Together it stabilizes the ascorbic acid and also encapsulates it to further stabilize, protect it, and help it penetrate the skin better. I have mentioned before that it’s impossible to know everything about a product and formula by just looking at the ingredient list because it doesn’t tell the full picture. I even made a video. 🤗 This is a really cool technology and one we should be excited about because we’re only going to see more brands utilize it and hopefully see studies come out.
@@SusanYara Hi, Susan! Thank you so much for your response. The video you mentioned about how the ingredients list doesn’t reflect on the product’s efficacy is 100% my favourite video that you’ve made ♥️ I really appreciated the nuanced ideas and reasoning in that video. Nonetheless, I hope to see studies showing that gold stabilises vitamin c in the near future. Until then, I hope you can understand the general doubts the scientific community has regarding its efficacy in skincare products.
I bought the one from Drunk Elephant 🐘 and it burned me so bad, in fact it was a severe burn it took me weeks to recover and everything made me allergic after that. Months later I bought the one from Pacifica that is supposed to be vegan but I got pimples which I have never had or suffered from that 😔, I guess vitamin C is not for everyone. I would like to see a video about it because I felt cheated after seeing so many videos speaking so highly of this product
Hi! Trying your Naturium and I like it 👍🏼 Just wondering why mine is clear while your vid shows a yellowish serum. Hope mine’s ok 🤞🏼 Would appreciate your feedback. Thanks!
There are plenty of dupes of skinceuticals you can choose from. Am using Mad Hippie which I really like. Was struggling before between that or the Amazon ranked #1 TruSkin. Really want to try Maelove but it only ships within the US. Kiehls dark spot correction seemed decent, and their other 12.5% concentrate stings like crazy. Skinceuticals TOO expensive and sticky. Ole Hendrikson Truth has too much fragrance. The Ordinary suspensions are so strong it’s not for the faint hearted. Guess the most hardcore way to go is to get the Ordinary l ascorbic powder and mix it with the ferulic reservatrol, and maybe add the sea buckthorn oil to grab the vitamin E
I find my skin is *incredibly* sensitive to Vitamin C, to the point where even smaller percentages of a derivative can irritate. Naturium's Azelaic Acid 10% Serum had enough vitamin C that my skin couldn't handle it. Should I just admit defeat and focus on other antioxidant and skin brightening ingredients that my skin can tolerate? Or do you have a product recommendation for those who need the absolute least-irritating formula?
I too have reactions from Vitamin C. I am now using the ethylated Vitamin C, both from The Ordinary and NIOD. My skin handles it very well and my pores are near invisible and my skin tone has been so evened out. I recommend you try one. Maybe go the Ordinary one first, as it is so cheap that it won't leave a dent in your pocket if it doesn't work out.

The Summer Fridays CC Me Serum feels nice on my skin... I haven’t seen a ton of difference, but it is one of the few that irritate my face! 😊
I love vitamin C's!! Susan, where is your top from? :D
Right?! Isn't it super cute?
I wanted to try Nuturium for the longest & after running out of the Pacifica one I have been using for over 8 months I bought a bottle @ Target. I’m on my second bottle🥰I truly LOVE IT❤️I am curious to know if I can use it morning AND evening? TY Susan! You are a true gem 💎 😘
naturium vitamin c complex serum does nothing for me. but it is hydrating tho.
Does anyone know if she deleted her apology video I can’t find it anywhere?
I’m a Vit-C obsessed girl! Is that bad? 🙈😂 So happy for this video!
Which one it's your favorite?
I’m curious, too which ones you love!
Me too. I order my Skinceuticals CE Ferulic Acid every month✨
@@youheartmel They truly are THE company that really started it All tbh! Oh, BTW a really good dupe is the Biobare vit.C serum. I was very pleasantly surprised with the results.😊
@@YT-ph3qb I read that the one from timeless ... It's a Dupe and good too, I'm dying to try it, I use the one from la Roche Posay but its Pao is very low
The Glow Maker is a product that is an exact dupe for Skinceuticals shown here and it’s only $25.00. Been using for a month now and it’s fabulous. I am not paid by anyone to say this and I haven’t received any free products from anyone.
love this one!!
From Maelove?
@@anabelencarmona5644 Yes
Hi,i just want to ask pls
I bought Vit C vichy last year
And i just check the box 2 days ago
Expiration date was july 2021
U think i still can use it?
Thank you so much 😊
Vichy ampoules great stuffs but leaves you that sticky feel...and itches. On several occasions I rubbed a tiny piece of glass on my skin so be extremely careful as you break the glass
Loved the content very informative. Whats your thoughts on Tula Vitamin C drops?
Does Vit C ever come brown? Because I bought mine today and the liquid was brown when I opened it
Hey Susan! What’s your opinion on the Revolution vitamins C serum 12.5%? I’m not sure whether their skincare products are good or not 😅
Hi, Susan, could you please provide the study that highlights that gold helps to stabilise vitamin c? I’m sure it’ll put loads of people’s doubts to rest.
I’m really interested in this study too.
Use lactic acid
Vitamin E also helps to stabilize Ascorbic acid! 😁
@@LouLou-Aus Really appreciate the recommendation. I’ll check them out!
@@LouLou-Aus i badly need The Ordinary products but my country is so insignificant that the site doesn’t even accept my postal code T-T
@@alicia-hd2cs Try other sites, such as Iherb, lookfantastic and strawberrynet. They may ship to you? 😄
@@LouLou-Aus oh, i never heard of them before! Will try :)
Can you do a video about Paulas choice?
Oooh, Susan I see some caramel highlights 😀
Thank you for the video! I wish you would ship Naturium to Canada...😥
Second this!!
Great video... thankyou. But please tell me what lipstick and nail polish you’re wearing...? You look great by the way! :-)
Love the way you teach, I have alot of sun burn n rashes on my face, which vitamin can help me?
Can you use it in the neck area for sun damage as a brightening agent?
