    As you said that NaCl is in molten state..

    Sir a Question why evaporation is a cooling process?

    • @MUHAMMADTAYYAB-tweety
      @MUHAMMADTAYYAB-tweety 6 років тому +1

      Muhammad Asif coz high energy molecules leave and low energy molecules remain

    • @muhammedabid480
      @muhammedabid480 6 років тому +1

      because due to the presence of water vapours which are evaporated in environment they produce coolness

    • @mr.nobody6283
      @mr.nobody6283 6 років тому +2

      Evaporation is cooling process because..
      particles with higher kinetic energy turn into vapors and escapes into atmosphere so particles with lower kinetic energy remains.

    • @saminazehra456
      @saminazehra456 5 років тому +6

      Evaporation is a cooling process because when liquid turns to gas, it needs more energy, and so it has to take that energy from its surroundings. The energy is in the form of heat, and when the heat energy leaves with the evaporating liquid, the surroundings get cooler as a result.

    i have a question
    anode has positive charge but there is process of oxidation on it why?????

    • @mr.nobody6283
      @mr.nobody6283 6 років тому +3

      Anode having positive charge means that Anode loses an electron or more.
      and loss of electron means oxidation

    How the electric current is supplied even without a battery.

    • @ubaidurrehman3133

      They are in the same cell means that they are in the same device called down cell and are connected directly with each other without the need of external circuit (battery).

    Please tell me that excess of electron are created on anode

    • @ubaidurrehman3133
      @ubaidurrehman3133 Рік тому

      No, On anode, oxidation occurs resulting in loss of electrons. Before the electrolysis started, there is excess of electrons on anode but after, when the electrolysis get started, the chlorine ion at anode loses its 2 electrons resulting in deficiency of electrons on anode and chlorine ion gets converted into chlorine gas (neutral molecule) by the process of electrolysis (in which electric current is required to initiate/start the breakdown or reaction of electrodes i.e. Cathode and Anode) .

    Why positive ion move to negative ion please tell me

    • @azeemmughal3551
      @azeemmughal3551 6 років тому +3

      Positive ion move towards negative ion because of their strong attractive forces between oppositely charged ions

    • @ubaidurrehman3133
      @ubaidurrehman3133 Рік тому +2

      This is one of the common and interesting question that the scientists have worked upon it for centuries and it has proved only by experiments (not by giving any reason) that every negative object or ion attracts every other positive object or ion because of difference of their charges.

    • @mmoonchild276
      @mmoonchild276 Рік тому

      Who said that two cathodes are being used?
      The cathode surrounds the anode and that's why it may seem like that there are two cathodes.

    • @maliykashahid8582
      @maliykashahid8582 6 років тому +2

      For balancing the equation because we have Cl in gas state which is cl2 & NaCl can not exist as Nacl2 so for balancing equation we write 2NaCl + cl2

    • @ubaidurrehman3133
